I recently moved to Bloomington from San Diego to help care for my elderly Father. Over the Labor Day weekend I saw a for sale sign in the yard of one of his neighbors homes.I immediately contacted the realty company requesting to see the house. Their agent emailed me saying she had company and could not call me. I had originally informed her that I could see the house on any day, at any time. I made it as convenient for her as possible. Evidently my efforts were in vain. It was too much for her to deal with a person interested in a sub-prime mortgage.I discovered today that the house is now under contract. Imagine if the realtor, Sandy Schroeder, had done her job and contacted me as is her job? Perhaps I would have had a chance to buy the house, making caring for my Father much more convenient for both of us.Im reasonably sure that if I had requested to see a house in one of the pricier neighborhoods of Bloomington I would have received a call from the realtor post haste. Unfortunately, the home I wanted was in a very modest subdivision on the East side of town.Do yourself a favor and find a realty company with employees who have a more well-developed work ethic than is evident at Coldwell Banker. I was treated very rudely and utterly ignored. Heck, I wasnt treated at all. I was summarily ignored and pushed aside. Im pretty sure the lower price of the home was the cause behind it.Take your money elsewhere. Take your business to people who treat others with more equity than was shown me.

Worked with Laurie Christensen to both sell and buy a home. She was awesome through the entire process. Along with getting us through all of the details of buying and selling a home she drove a hard bargain getting us better comps than Id even thought to ask for.

Go with someone else! Disrespectful and unprofessional! I was referred to Anne Bliss by my military institution. Upon meeting with Ms. Bliss on 6/20/2019, she immediately began interrogating why I am currently not working. When I explained that I am a disabled veteran, her response was, You dont LOOK disabled! She then proceeded to ask about my mother, the whereabouts of my father, asking if I had any brothers, even going so far as to asking the names of my pets. When I asked the reason behind asking so MANY personal questions that were unrelated to real estate, taxes, and home ownership, Ms. Bliss claimed (with a fake smile) that she wants to be friends with her customers and that she asks questions to get to know the clients. Affirming that I didnt have to work with her, I grabbed my stuff and walked out.Additionally, I telephoned my military institution to report the negative experience I had with Ms. Bliss and her nosy questions about my medical history and my relationship with relatives. Such questions are reserved for medical personnel / clinical psychologists / social workers / nurses to ask, not a real estate agent meeting a customer for the first time.
