Anna came to my apartment for a first time cleaning and I was unsure of what to expect. I didn’t know what she was allowed to clean and what should be done beforehand., and surely didnt want her to do anything she wasnt supposed to When she arrived she was punctual, with clip-board in hand and chatted with me about my expectations, what services I had requested through the online quote/reservation, and what she was going to do She was very kind and the cleaning she did impressed me. She made my first experience with CottageCare (house cleaning) exceptional, looking forward to future service times. And to top that, it was her first day on her own! Very happy she joined the CottageCare Team.Andrew came out to my apartment for my second cleaning and I must say, he was punctual, I was a few minutes late (oops), but he was polite about it. He had his clip board in hand, apologize for Anna being unavailable, and even offered to reschedule for Anna to be available. Andrew as well impressed me. He was thorough in his cleaning. He even checked a few areas for dusting/cleaning that I didnt think about, but its on his checklist. Wow... The last two times Ive used Cottage Care Ive had Andrew. He is not only really kind, but great at his job. He focuses on the small details and does a thorough job. I even noticed my asthma is better after he comes to clean because he gets rid of all the dust and dog hair...he dusts all the furniture, cleans the ceiling fans, vacuums really good and even vacuums the living room furniture. Ive struggled with horrible depression since losing my parents, so my apartment got pretty bad and he didnt make me feel bad or self conscious at all! He was truly caring and happy he could offer me some relief. Im there when hes cleaning and we just chat most the time which is nice..hes very personable. I will continue to go through Cottage Care and request Andrew anytime I need a cleaning service. The mental and emotional relief I got from seeing my place look beautiful again was worth every penny. Also everyone Ive talked with on the phone from the Bloomington office to schedule or pay has been so sweet and helpful. Highly recommend 🙂

Seriously, I was having a meltdown. But after he arrived my anxieties quickly dissipated. He was punctual, with clip-board in hand, and quietly self-assured. We had small talk about my expectations, the add-on services Cottage Care offers, and any limits he and I had. He was knowledgeable about everything I asked of him, including rates of services. Plus he was so kind! As for the cleaning, I am thoroughly impressed. I love the patterned carpet lines and his attention to detail. What really blew me away was walking past and seeing him on his hands and knees cleaning the floor! I was not expecting that! I am so appreciative of this service, I can’t wait to book my next!

I received a free deep clean and couldn’t have been happier when I came home from work! I was extremely impressed with the areas of my house that I typically don’t get around to doing that they did. They went over and above my expectations. It was greatly appreciated and convinced me to commit monthly. They were also very friendly and personable to talk to and are able to work with my budget and my schedule.

I reached out to Cottage Care almost a month ago about cleaning service and got the automated email saying we will contact you tomorrow. 8 days later I get another email and a text asking about the time frame that I am needing cleaning in. I marked asap; and now 2 weeks later and I still have not heard anything back.

When we closed on our new house we were heartbroken at its condition. We had already scheduled a moving clean with Cottage Care (we use them every other week to clean our high traffic areas), but we called them to give them a heads up that the clean was going to be more intensive than we thought. Emily came in and worked magic in our new house, even returning the next morning to do one last clean of the floors. The house was spotless afterward. Cabinets, drawers, floors, corners - it restored our joy in our new home. And to top it off when we came to the house at the end of Emilys long day to apologize for the state of the house, she was so kind about it. I am very happy with my Cottage Care services!! Brooke is awesome, friendly and hard worker... They are also extremely flexible with scheduling services and with work to be done.

My usual Cottage Care employee who cleans my house does a good job. I am concerned about the yearly increase in my costs per cleaning. Im not so sure that the employees who do the actual cleaning are getting increases in their salary or if the money is going straight to the top of the company.

We have worked with Cottage Care for 15 years and I would NEVER change services! They are responsive, flexible, and personalize every single item: what you want done in your home, when, what time, and with whom. Whether staff showed up we liked or disliked, they honored our preference. They also worked within our budget. We recently moved from a 3500 to a 10,000 sq foot home, quite a difference, and the manager himself came out with a crew to not only survey the home but also joined the staff and cleaned the house with them personally! Since the move is still in process, and a huge project difficult to manage, I asked if they could please text me when they were coming to remind me. WOW!
