I went there for a notory. There was 1 store person who was extremely unprofessional. He just refused to do a notory saying we were unethical just because we had different last names even when we had all necessary government documents. The person didnt even look at the documents and was rejecting notary on baseless claims.

They charged me $4.00 to tape a box shut on a return item that had a prepaid shipping label. The employees are rude and have zero personality! Go to fed ex they are nice and reasonably priced.

Their website said ground goes out by 5:30pm. I get there at 4:30pm needing 2 day ground which they tell me my package will get there in those two days - by Friday. Perfect. Then tracking doesnt register so I call. They tell me the truck picked up packages early and mine isnt going out until the next day, which over the weekend my business package is going to be late for an event that I needed it there by Friday. Monday would have been unacceptable and I would have paid for next day air. Why didnt the clerk tell me the packages had already gone out. Unacceptable.
I have made three trips to this store in the last two days with Christmas just around the corner. I first worked with Isaiah, then Amanda and lastly David. Isaiah was engaging and patient as I sorted my 4 packages. Amanda was friendly and again patient as she had to reexplain the pricing to me on a package. David was upbeat and speedy as I got my last package shipped. I am sure their work is busy and chaotic this time of year. Every team member never shows an ounce of sweat. Everyone is patient, kind, and happy to help. I have always had great service at this store. Thank you to all who work here.
Every time I come to this UPS the employees are extremely rude. There’s always something I did wrong with the packaging or just in general. It’s like they try to find a reason to argue with me about the package I bring in. They’re not helpful at all and make you nervous to send a package through them. Do not go to this location and instead drive over to Edina.
I didnt know you guys had to be involved with my item from Amazon. You guys ask proof of an ID then you guys ship it to Michaels?? I told them what my name was. I had two items because I was like I saw a bag and I was like what if its mine. They said no at first then they said yes it was mine.
A big shout out to David! After a terrible experience at another UPS store I called this one and he was so helpful! My friend and I both received the most attentive service and he was so fun and personable.
Isaiah went above and beyond the call of duty to bring Christmas joy to me this year. He stepped up and looked up a shipment that I made where I lost the tracking number. Isaiah learned how to do this on the fly and saved a lot of people a lot of headache. Plus he is a genuinely good person. 10/5 stars for Isaiah. Also this UPS is a good location as well, but Isaiah is certainly one of their best.
Went to return many many Amazon packages and Amanda was a gem! She helped me return like 20 items without getting frustrated at my retail therapy addiction. She also was kind to others that walked on as they waited for me to be done. Great employee!
I went in to pick up a package and I could not believe how the owner (Bala) could treat his employee so poorly. He was really kind to the customers and gave great service but I think it shows a lot about someone the way they treat their employees. I was disgusted with what I heard and I wish I wouldve spoken up. I do not feel good about coming back here.

Went to drop off a lab test on a Saturday. They did not accept the package allegedly because they were not open on sunday and the package was not leaving the store until Monday. Went to another ups that opens on sunday and they said that regardless on wether they open or not on sunday, packages stay over until Monday. They had no problem accepting the package and were really courteous. Dont recommend the bloomington UPS.

Stopped in to do a quick Amazon return for my husband. He had unfortunately packaged 2 items in the same box which isnt allowed. Deb and Amanda helped me and even repackaged the items for me at no charge. I really appreciated their friendly and kind service on a rainy night! Thanks ladies!
Worst service. I went for notory service for parental authorization for minor kid with all relevant documents. The store guy refused with weird and absurd reasoning saying that kid needs to be present personally and need to put thumb print which didnt sound legitimate to me. Also he was rude in conversation. I felt he was not interested in doing the task.Then I went to UPS Eden Prairie and same notory was done conveniently.
What does it matter should not be an answer to a question when asking about your services. Ridiculously horrible customer service.
Great work guys! They had us taken care of in less than 10 minutes despite a line out the door.
If you need a notary don’t use this place. They ignore the online schedule. We scheduled an appointment weeks in advance and arrived to be told the notary is the owner and on Saturdays they typically don’t come in.

The store owner (Bala) was kind, great, and quick in helping me fix some problem that occurred in an earlier shipment. He was able to quickly find the record from my initial visit and thoroughly resolved the problem.

Ive used this store on several occasions over 3+ years and have always been very satisfied. Its also in a location thats fairly convenient to main roads and highways.

This UPS has some of the best, hands on employees I’ve ever come across!! I live nearby, and always have an annoying amount of amazon returns. I came in post-covid once things had just opened up again, with a lot of returns for amazon. The computers were down, so I had written down the Return codes and put post it’s on the boxes. I definitely got a few numbers wrong, and one of the employees Krisna contacted me via my account and was able to get everything squared away even after the fact, and followed up even with it 100% being my mistake! Such a blessing, because I was shopping things out that weren’t even mine, was just trying to do a favor- and because of Krisna going the extra mile for giving such fabulous customer service, saved me and the friend out of losing a couple hundred in products! Such excellent staff, they really put 110% into their job! And do it with such positivity. They are such a pleasant group of staff, they make an annoying task, feel positive! I’ve only had the greatest experiences with this location! Thanks for dealing with all my annoying packages weekly! And thanks Krisna & Deb! Really excellent employees!
Fast and friendly and helpful
This location has friendly and helpful staff. Several times Ive been unable to pick up my packages within the specific time frame set before they were to be returned to sender and each time a staff member assured me they would not be returned and would be kept safe until I could pick them up a few days later, and they always were there.I also use this location to send all my UPS packages to hold here for me to pick up since the apartments that I live at have issues with package deliveries and theft, and even the apartment management office has lost packages because they have no proper system in place for receiving packages.Now with the holidays and increased issues with package deliveries at my apartment from other carriers, Ive decided to just get a mailbox here, which is what I should have done a while ago! Finally I wont have to worry about my deliveries anymore, or listen to the excuses from others responsible for late or lost/stolen packages anymore.I recommend this location for their service and all my experiences have been good ones.
Overall, unhelpful and unfriendly staff. There is another store about a mile away on York, go there instead.
Packages don’t come on time
This store is closest to my house. I want to be able to go there, but the manager will not refund me for a damaged package that I paid insurance on, apparently this is handled at a store level case by case, lol. They said I didnt package it correctly (I did by their requirements). No compromise, took weeks to follow up, this has been going on for months. Manager does nothing to support someone that has spent thousands of dollars in postage at his location.
The manager is unfriendly and antagonistic. I have visited here five times now, and four of the five visits were terrible, and I will not be returning. (The one time that was okay I was only dropping off a prepaid, pre-addressed pkg.) The first time, I brought in a small shoebox of documents to put in the shred bin which is kept out on the sales floor and it was so full that documents could easily be removed from the deposit slot at the top. I asked if they had another bin that was empty and I was told by the manager that they dont switch them out until they are completely full and this bin was somehow not completely full. He assured me that they would see if anyone tried to take out documents and made me feel paranoid and silly. I hesitantly paid and stuffed in my docs. After I left I regretted my decision. A couple of weeks later, I stopped in again with a small amount of shredding, and again the bin was full to the top, so I left without leaving my docs there. About two weeks later, I stopped in AGAIN with shredding, and AGAIN the bin was full. I asked the manager why it is always full to the top every time I come in. He was obviously angry I asked, and very rudely told me that is not true. I said it has been true the three times I came in over a 6-week period and he accused me of lying, and then told me that he cant control how much shredding people bring in. I decided to bring my shredding elsewhere. Silly me, the other day I decided to go there to mail a package that I had to send USPS (rather than UPS) and the UPS website says their stores do that. The manager immediately told me I didnt want to send USPS because they always lose packages and UPS is much better and cheaper. I told him I preferred to send via USPS, they never lost any of my packages, and I wanted to send my package three-day parcel post. Again, getting agitated, he argued with me that I shouldnt use USPS and that I must be really lucky if they havent lost my packages. I asked him if he would do as I asked or not, and he said he would, but he would charge me much, much more. So I left with my package. I dont know how this UPS store stays in business with such a rude and ornery manager. Dont go there.

EVERYTIME, and I literally mean every single time over come to this location for anything from prepaid shipping to Amazon returns, their system is down so they cant take my Amazon return, or they cant print a receipt, or they cant print a label.... I dont understand how they function if all of their systems keep going down...

Both times I went to this UPS store were great experiences. The first time I went to drop off some shredding. Today I needed to print some flyers. The owner helped me the first time and it was such a nice experience I decided to make this my regular UPS store. Today Isaiah helped me and his friendly, helpful attitude made my day. The fact that its next to a Starbucks is a nice bonus.

I was in town for a family reunion and needed handouts for my genealogy presentation. The convenience of placing the order & uploading documents hailed in comparison to the customer service in the store. They made sure my handouts were ready when I needed them and even called me when they had questions. BRAVO!!
The absolute best location and service of any UPS Ive ever used. Our company ships high volume with UPS and this location always takes care of us. Ask for David, hes the man.
My daughter and I brought in two good size boxes that needed to be returned together. I was very impressed by the respectful help we received from both people working there (1-25-2018). I felt the manager went the extra mile to help my daughter.
They lost my package months ago and been obtusely difficult in fulfilling the insurance claim. Going so far as to directly ask me not to file an insurance claim because they would receive less money from royalties from UPS or some such nonsense.
A Business Makes a Profit. Whats the Problem?You should box up your shipment before arriving. Your package must be secured before it can be shipped; so do this too. If you can have the destination address written on the package... This stuff is 1st grade knowledge! Of course they charge you for boxes, tape & shipping materials. Theyre a SHIPPING COMPANY!Aside from not showing up right at lunch time or immediately after the 9 to 5ers get off work... Quick & pleasant service and towering above a post office experience.

As other people have already mentioned, staff is rude and try to make money in selling you tape and envelopes when what your packing material is just fine.I have received item delivered by ups in open plastic bags, so a decent material should be good for them.
I went into this store to mail a cell phone to my daughter. It was a new unpackaged phone. The two boys behind the counter said that they could box it for me. After I paid, I was told me to leave the phone on the counter and that they would get to it.(no other customers in the store). I asked if I could watch them package it as I was concerned about it being unboxed and fragile. The response was “We send many phones every week and have never had a problem”, so basically no. They discounted my concern and made me feel as if I was being silly to ask. I did not leave feeling good about this interaction and I will not return.
There was only one attendant in the office before noon on Christmas Eve. Saw a lot of people come in and he handled it extremely well! Great multitasking! And very friendly!
Bad customer service from Ryan. I was shipping a package and specifically stated it NEEDED to be there Friday. Proceeded to charge me for ground with no guarantee on delivery date. Then questioned the lack of date on receipt and he said “well it should be there Friday”. Had to ask another employee what to do. Had to screw around with multiple transactions to get a guaranteed date on delivery. These kind of oversights are annoying and unacceptable. At least show your customers both options. Should’ve gone to fedex.

Went in even after reading the reviews below. The lady working had an East Coast attitude which I am alright with. I am not alright with the $hitty computer taking ten minutes to start up. Also, I was told the price, and was later charged more about than quoted. I want to support a local franchise, and out of pity they are getting two stars rather than one.
Went in for some printing services and was told that none of the three employees working knew how to use the machines and I should come back when someone else was there.Terrible for a company advertising print services.
Attendant would not accept my package because it was in an express box being shipped with a pre-paid ground label. He tried to show me on the packaging where it said not intended for ground shipments. Ive had experience driving for a courrier service and I know this is just false. The only reason that is on there is because express boxes are provided to customers with express accounts. Nobody cares if an express box goes ground, if I dropped it in a UPS drop box the driver would take it. There is no logistical reason for turning me away. In fact our mailroom would always accept our packages and we never had a problem.A second man came over and explained that those people just werent doing their job. No, not doing your job is turning away a customer. Of course they were happy to sell me new packaging that would be acceptable to them. Instead I took my shipment to the next closest UPS store where they happily took my package and gave me a receipt. I guess the only good stores are the ones where they dont do their job.
If it isnt a rectangle shape dont bother. I had a prepaid shipping label and the older guy working just denied my package, and I received the package in the fashioned it for return... From ups..
These people are the rudest and racist ever. Specially the old grumpy guy. My friend and I went in to this store.. she needed to know how long does priority mail take to reach to its destination. The old guy came out very angry and full of attitude way... the other workers just laughed. (One of them even apologized after i said why this guy is so rude?) Everything he said and in the way he treated us can be considered racist. I wish I knew how to file a formal complain on these people.
Mark is an incredible employee at this location. He stayed open late for me last week and set the printer up so I could get a few last minute items shipped out which is crucial to my business.
Ive only had good experiences with UPS, but the UPS Store is a scam. I needed to put a patch of tape on a box so I asked if they had any tape I could use and they pointed me to a tape gun. They did not mention nor was it posted ANYWHERE that using said tape gun meant BUYING said tape gun, so I was pretty surprised when they told me I owed them $10 for a tape gun I never intended to buy.

Wow. Just wow.I brought in a package to be shipped with a label printed and ready to go. The gentleman working wanted to charge me 75 cents for 12 inches of tape to seal my box. Okay, but the last person charged me 50 cents. So already I can tell this is a random price and the store is trying to nickel and dime me. He then says he can do 50 cents.But I have to pay cash. The previous lady charged me 50 cents and allowed me to use a card without a problem. He kept insisting how theres a $2 credit card minimum.He let me walk out without waiving the 50 cent fee since I didnt have cash. Didnt get my package shipped. A well-run store doesnt let a customer walk over 50 cents and trivial unwritten credit card minimums.Are you serious? What a joke.
I have used the store often with good results. The clerks are polite and knowledgeable and the owner is frequently on site and very nice.
Today was my last straw with this store - if the guy doesnt like your box he will refuse to accept it until you have purchased a better one from him (or taken it home, removed the label, packed a different box, reattached the label, returned to the store) - I have had to do both of these things in the past. I have sold and shipped things on eBay for many years, from bicycles to computer parts, I know how to pack a box.Today I went there with three shoe boxes of Amazon returns, one of which I had unfolded, turned inside-out and put back together to hide the bright labels and colors. Each in perfect condition, packing-taped securely, and with UPS labels covering the tops.The man (I have only ever seen the one guy there) said he would only accept the inside-out box as it was the only true shipping box, the rest were only shoe boxes (seems like if you can stack them 25 high on the shoe truck and in the back of the shoe store they should survive a couple days in the UPS system). The boxes were identical cardboard thickness and quality. Ridiculous.I took my packages, sat in my car, found and drove a mile further to the Edina USP Store where the man cheerfully accepted my boxes and offered me a coupon for my next visit.I will never be going back to the Southtown USP store again.

Tried to strong-arm me into buying a 6$ roll of tape because they said my already package box (which was overly secured with tape already) wasnt good enough. When i refused and informed them this was an amazon return thats already been paid for they really didnt want to help then cause it was gonna be free to ship back. Then i was accused of being a bully, denied service, they threatened to call the cops, had a security guard come who threatened to break my neck. It was the most bizarre display of customer service Ive ever encountered. Please, please avoid this location at all costs!
Refused to perform notary services, even though they list it and advertise it. They are either too lazy or too scared of any form of liability that they wont provide the advertised service.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I tried returning two packages and the associate scanned one of the packages twice, causing the unscanned item to go missing. I called the store after seeing I never received a refund for one of my packages and the manager Bala told me it was my fault that I didn’t check the receipt before I left to make sure it showed to different tracking numbers. He was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. I will never go back to this location.

They wouldnt throw a piece of tape on for me, said I could buy an overpriced roll or pay extra for package prep. I only patronize businesses that treat their customers right and will never be back to this place.

Wish I could give less than one star. Attendant is not nice. They charge 50 cents for a small piece of tape. Then tell you they have a min. Charge for your card and make you buy more. Ive been here twice, was not happy with the nickel and diming and will never use this location again.
