Bloomington MNWorked here as a benefits specialist for a few months. Awful training and constant micromanagement. Terrible company with very high turnaround. I ran as fast as I could away from this place, and have never been happier
What a First Class company. Have never been surrounded by so many smart people in a meeting.
New job here in Minnesota and I’m loving it
I am a new employee working in finance for Willis Towers Watson. I am so impressed with this company and the work environment they have created.Excellent place to enjoy your career. WTW is very dedicated to its employees health and happiness. This company runs off of high quality and ethics. It is refreshing to observe such a large institution practice what they preach.Pros:-accesable management that really hears its employees-many opportunities to work remotely & travel-will really work with your life schedule-tons of career mobility-recognizes and appreciates talent and dedication/ hard work-stellar office culture-very transparent about expectations and how to progress. This really gives the individual some control and influence in thier career trajectory.-inovative & adaptable-WTW has managed to make competitiveness compatable and overall very positive.- this is a place that would be really tough to lie, cheat, and steal your way up. This really helps weed out the cliche office bad egg-varied in office work environments for the employees comfort-has massively reduced elitism between the differing professional levels-the office is very clean and organized.Cons:-the Bloomington, MN office is like a maze, but a fun and pretty maze with great office supplies. AMAZING interior design, I cannot stress this enough.-IT is mostly remote, so it can be a time suck and a challenge to effectively communicate with.-customer service department is rumored to have high turnover, but customer service department jobs are challenging reguardless.-professional advancement is not done impulsively. This means a full position advancement can take some time, but that insures quality and a good fit thus creating a harmonious work environment. That being said, professional growth and role growth opportunities are not scarce.-drive and initiative are key WTW employee success factors, this is only a con for people whose personality traits are not alligned with either of these traits.-at first, it can be a lot to take in, but its all good.-it can be hard to keep track of who is who. WTW is very open to people working remotely/ from home, and you are not chained to a desk or even a certain floor in the office, I feel this is an excellent trade off.
Very poor training and Human Resources is non existing. Toxic Place. Run Please
