No one was wearing a mask. Not the owner, nor the customer at the time. Im writing this while we are currently experiencing a global pandemic that has been raging on for almost an entire year. The owner knows better (theres a mask mandate) and just doesnt care. Absolutely no consideration for anyones safety.

I went to Golden Shear when I was in college, and Im glad to see Freds still there some 25 years later. I might need to drive down from Indy for a cut sometime...while I still have hair. hehe.

This guy harasses EVERY delivery driver that stops where HE doesnt want them to. Regardless of how good or not their hair styling is, I will never go back to him on the mere principle that he is rude to anyone thats simply trying to do their job. Fortunately for him, I cant give him 0 stars.

For anyone who came a fair distance from home to live at IU, you probably have found a decent barber around your home town. Stick. To. That. Old. Barber. This shop has a really nice staff, granted theres not many of them, but theyre very friendly, I would just never go back for a haircut there again. Ive tried several around but though this would be a hidden gem of a shop, and unfortunately I was wrong. 10/10 kindness, 2/10 for quality haircuts.

Finding a barbershop that was open on Saturday morning was surprisingly difficult this morning. This place is in one of the few remaining authentic, old fashioned, tell it like it is barbershops in Bloomington.While I was in the shop getting my 15 year old son a haircut we were lucky enough to experience a unique customer song some of Don Giovanni!
