My toe was a little unorthodox being that I’m a technician and I had to move my toolbox from the dealership I was leaving and get it to my house. Toolboxes are a very large investment for a technician and an important part of our business so getting it towed right was important to me. Kens did a great job kept is secure and took all the precautions to keep it safe and undamaged all the way to my house. Helped get it into my garage and we’re nothing but courteous and respectful to me and my family.

Kevin did an outstanding job of making sure my car was towed back to Carmel from Bloomington today. My car sits REALLY low to the ground. He was meticulous in ensuring my car didn’t get a single scratch. He was great!

My family and I took our 29-foot class-C motorhome on a camping trip. I discovered that the brake line had rusted and was leaking out all the fluid. I had to have it towed. Good Sam had sent Kens out to tow the vehicle. They were prompt and respectful of our situation.Good Sam had mistakenly ordered the camper to be serviced at another shop, that it turns out doesnt even work on motorhomes. The tow truck driver from Kens told me they were a couple weeks out at least, but that they MAY be able to look at the vehicle in a couple days. I thought that might be our best option, so he took it there to his shop.The very next day they looked at it and gave me a ballpark estimate what it would cost. They got the parts the day after and had the camper ready for us only 2 days after it broke down! And the cost came in $30 less than their estimated cost the day prior! How often does that happen?I couldnt be any more satisfied with the quality of service and professionalism at Kens! They helped us out of a tight spot, being from out of town. They put our situation as a priority and worked on our vehicle ahead of others, Im sure! Thank you, Kens!

Could not give a more glowing review, staff was clearly busy with it being a 24 hour towing service, but they handled everything amazingly, didnt waste my time, and told me what I needed to know, Would highly recommend, my car was towed and impounded for a day and the fees were only $200 which really isnt that bad all things considered. I had such a great experience with Shannon from Kens Towing just this morning. He was professional and friendly and respectful, even when I asked questions or gave answers that might have been pretty remedial. I didnt realize my tie rod had broken and he was creative and efficient in figuring out the best way to tow my car when they hadnt been prepared to tow a car with a broken tie rod. But he did it! I was really impressed with Shannon and he made sure everything I needed was taken care of before he left. Thank you Shannon, and thank you to Kens Westside Towing!

Needed roadside assistance and they were there in about 35 min. Fast service! Loved the young kid that rescued me from changing my own tire!..lolAnd it was affordable!

I had my car towed and everything went smooth and could not have been a better experience!

Long story short, called my Insurance company for a tow cause my bike broke down. They went thru Kens Westside for pickup. Was told it would be a few hours before it could be picked up. I had to abandon all hope after waiting 4 hours, left my bike where it sat and walked back to Jasper. The story gets worse, didnt bother to call to let me know that they safely picked up the bike, didnt call to let me know they delivered my bike to Harley Davidson of Bloomington, and then I get the blunt end of a conversation with the Harley Dealer because Kens Westside showed up 5 minutes after the HD dealer closed up for the day. In other words Im sure they are an excellent company for the Bloomington Local area, but be warned if your insurance company uses them, dont expect great service...

This is true for Kens Westside Towing. They help those who are vulnerable and in need and do so in a professional, empathetic and respectful manner.I recently had a situation where Kens Westside Towing was called to tow and impound a vehicle of a family member. Ken (the owner) was the one who made the tow. When I called to understand how to retrieve the vehicle, Ken was immediately empathetic to our particular situation, walked me through the entire process and explained the required paperwork. He went as far as to provide me phone numbers and contact information for other organizations that needed to be involved to approve the release of the vehicle. In addition, as arrangements were made for other family members to pick up the vehicle, Ken proactively called me to ensure I knew the latest developments and informed me the vehicle was pulled around front for an easy and seamless transfer. Car had fallen off of the jack with a slow rolling motion, with the front tire removed. The very experienced and pleasant driver, expertly placed the lift under the front of the car and raised it so a jack stand could be placed to secure the car.He was so good at his job he made it look easy and quick.

Truck slid off gravel driveway in pouring down rainstorm, ended up at a 30+ degree angle down the hill. Kevin saved the day and managed to pull the beast back onto the road without flipping it (did I mention pouring down rain and a ridiculous angle?!), and did it in record time at a fair price. Hope not to need these folks too often, but glad to have their number handy!

The driver was very friendly and professional. He got the truck loaded without any problems. The cost was reasonable. I would recommend them to everyone who needs a tow.

Car battery died when for wasnt shut completely. Called roadside service. They were dispatched. It did take longer than expected. But there was road construction that was really delaying traffic, so not their fault. When they arrived they were quick, efficient and courteous.

I have been using Kens for towing and mechanic work for quite some time and they have never let me down. It doesnt matter what my problems are, I know that Joe will get it in the door and out quickly repaired the way it needs to be repaired.

My vehicle was towed there recently after a wreck. I stopped by to get all of my belongings out of the vehicle which was quick and easy. Thomas Floyd who assisted me was very helpful and professional. Standing with me out in the rain helping me gather everything up and running to grabbing a screw driver so I could get my license plate. Overall a good experience for a bad situation.

Due to snow & ice conditions I was unable to get up my driveway. I parked at my neighbors. After getting my driveway cleared a bit, the rental got stuck in my neighbors driveway. Within minutes of arriving, they got the rental out unstuck from my neighbors driveway and pulled right up my driveway & parked rental in my garage. They MADE my night!!! I slid off of the road during the recent snow. Kens was dispatched out based off of my roadside assistance. They arrived in a timely manner, considering the snow storm we were getting. The driver was very nice and walked me through the process of pulling me out of the snow. Then he pulled me up the hill that caused me to get stuck. Once up the hill, he unhooked my car and asked if I could make it home from there. I told him I thought so. He decided to follow me home to make sure I made it safely. Once I arrived I gave him a thumbs up and he confirmed I was good before heading out. He didnt have to make sure I made it the couple of blocks home, but he did. I would definitely use them again.

Lockout services are great!! The driver was awesome and incredibly friendly! He arrived in a timely manner and helped me get my keys out of my locked vehicle. Total life savers

The dispatcher I spoke with was amazing. Kim helped me quickly and got the service truck to me in about 10 minutes to help me change a tire. Vinny, helped me change the tire and was super friendly. Got me all taken care of quickly. Thanks so much for taking care of me!

My car slid off my driveway and I could not get it to go anywhere. I called my roadside service and they sent Ken’s the next morning. The guy was really nice. My mother went out there with him and he told her to get in the car and put it in drive while he pulled it backwards. I don’t understand how that would work? Also after they got my car where I needed it, it was a day or so before I got in and drove it. I IMMEDIATELY feel something was wrong. I had a guy friend look at it and he said yep your rear shock is broken. I called Ken’s and told them but I have yet to hear from Ken himself and any plan to get this fixed. Hopefully they will do the right thing soon and call me.

Kevin (unit 3 he said) just towed our trailblazer from our house and was very professional! He arrived earlier than the est time given. We were impressed at watching how he could get a car thats missing a whole wheel onto the truck, but it happened like it was no big deal. Somehow, after having driven for nearly 50 years, Ive managed to avoid having my car towed--until today. I was a bit nervous because of the stories Ive heard of truck-driver negligence resulting in car damage. Fortunately, I had little reason to be concerned. Kevin arrived right on time and that set the stage for a great experience. Kevin is professional, friendly, and its obvious that he knows what hes doing. I enjoyed chatting with him, too.

Totaled my first vehicle that I saved and payed for all by myself. Ken came to tow it. Cost 300 dollars. I come from poverty and only one with money is me and im pretty devastated after all this I give and I give and I give and after the crash I was depressed and down in the dumps little money I do have was for big things so it was a blow to lose all my personals in such a short time that I worked so long for. The driver and service sent by Toyota Roadside Assistance ran off the road and damaged driveway, lawn, landscaping costing $1750. The owner has not returned my calls not made any attempt to fix the damage.

Home boy driving stopped on a back road where I needed speed to get up with snow on the ground and made me get stuck.

Used twice now. Both times tow truck dropped the vehicle at the garage and didnt tell the garage. Also, $90 for a tow is above market rate.

Incredibly late to coming to tow my car! the cops had to call and tell them to hurry up, it was that bad.

The tow truck showed up on time but the driver was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was at a grocery parking lot and I had to call the dispatcher and tell them to tell the drive I was waving at him so he could get it in gear. He was very short when speaking to me as if he didnt want to say a single word to me. Then, I had to ask him to completely turn off my truck for the ride home. He argued with me saying leaving the key turned wasnt going to do any harm. Maybe a 30 minute ride wouldnt have done harm but Im the customer. Do you want more reviews like this?

I have used Kens for years for towing and for the last year for mechanical services that I cannot do. Best place in town for any work or towing.

They did an awesome job towing my F250, and the driver stuck around when he didn’t have to to help winch it on the trailer for us. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Locked myself out of my car for the first time- I knew Id do it eventually! They helped me out SO QUICKLY, it was incredible. I had just bought ice cream from Kroger and was going back to my apartment when I locked myself out (of my car AND apartment) and by the time I was able to get back into my apartment my ice cream hadnt melted in the slightest! Partially due to the cold weather, but mostly because they seriously got to me so. fast. Cant thank Kens Westside Services enough!

Had a bad start to our day and got our 60 ft genie lift stuck in the mud. Called around a few places but was set on Kens after talking to dispatch when he seemed very positive of being able to get it pulled out ok. Had a flat tire during my lunch hour. Called and they had a tow truck to my location in 20 minutes, and quickly changed the flat and I was on my way! Employee was very nice.

Lady who answered the phone was extremally rude and unprofessional. Refused service because it wasnt convenient for her. Would defiantly not recommend.

I was thankful for the jump but the gentleman was cranky and rude because I wasn’t standing by the garage when he showed up. I was in the bathroom. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt-maybe his dog just died.

They were awesome. I called for a tow and they quoted 45 minutes for arrival and arrived after 20. Younger gentleman and he knew what he was doing. Asked me if I had someone coming to pick me up or if I needed a ride back with my car. I did have someone coming to pick me up and he waited with me until my ride arrived.

They are doing a great job and have a reasonable price. I didn’t expect to keep the driver waiting for a long time today and I felt very sorry about that. Overall, I would highly recommend their service!

They told a new employee at their 90 day review that theyre getting a raise and then the raise NEVER went on their check. When it was brought up it STILL wasnt put on their check. So they put in their two weeks notice and found another job. That is NOT how you treat employees when you brag so much about how you treat your employees like family. Dont work for this company! They lie and say you got a raise and then never put it on your check. Even after the employee was nice enough to give a two week notice ken told him to go ahead and leave a week early, shorting him a check. Now ken wants to deny the ONE week of unemployment the ex employee is requesting. AWFUL LEADERSHIP, him and his wife...

People here are wonderful and enjoyable to talk to. They get down to business and they dont waste your time. Though they will take your money (meaning it can be costly). But theyre honest about whats wrong with your car. Its worth the money you spent. You know your car is fixed and you dont have to worry about anything else being wrong with your car for a while.

Honestly, this place takes advantage of students and they conspire with the Purdue police to do so. I suspect they share the spoils with each other. Why do I say that? If your car is towed neither one will attempt to notify you so it maximizes the ticket cost you get. They have access to your info with your parking pass and license plate but make no effort at all to contact you. Meanwhile, each day you tally up more money until the day you need your car and see its gone. For a student that may be a week or two later! This resulted in a $550 ticket. When asked about the no notification issue both the police and tow place claimed it was the others responsibility. Criminals!

Son goes to Kelly.We live 30 miles South of Chicago. Son had a wheel break off car at his house. Kens picked car up, within 15 minutes of call, and made great repairs at a very fair price. Being far away we looked up many repair places for confidence (Midas being the worst) and asked the University for a recommendation, and decided on Kens. A parent is always worried, when four hours from their children, but Ken s put the worries to rest.
