Kevin is an amazing service manager! Ross was great, he looked over my truck for me, while he changed the oil. Let me know everything looked good now, and let me know of a couple things to pay attention to in the future. Great mechanics, and front counter people. Finally found an honest car repair shop. After being ripped off at Jericho Motorsports and treated as if because I didnt have a high-end import car I was low on their priority, it was nice to find someone who would give me honest estimates and fast service. No more waiting two or three weeks to get my car back for minor repairs.

Pomps takes good care of my 1992 Ford F150XLT. Once had a rebuilt alternator installed and under warranty, pulled into Pomps with it smoking, they extinguished and replaced as it was still under warranty. Most honest shop in town. My brother in law recommends them to everyone because they are honest, reasonably priced, and time efficient. Any time they have done any work to my car they always call and tell me the price before they work on it. I have always been impressed by their work!

Simply put, this place is great! Definitely check with them first before looking around for other tire service. I barely was able to pull into their lot with 11 min before the end work day for them. I nailed a pothole in a construction zone while on my way home from work. They were able to address it the next morning and what I thought was going to be an expensive tire replacement ended with re-sealing it! No alignment necessary or even a patch! Good service, let me order tires from tirerack and then installed them. Would be 5, but they didnt fill the tires to the right air pressure, and I had to let out air in 2 different tires.EDIT: They immediately contacted me after leaving this review and apologized, as well as tried to figure out how it happened. Absolutely awesome shop!I have been a customer for a couple years and have had all my major repair work done as well as my regular oil changes/maintenance at this shop. My experience here has always been extremely positive. Connor and Kevin have always been professional, courteous, and customer service oriented, making sure the work is done right and in a timely manner. I recently purchased a full set of tires for my car, not only did they offer to price match their competitors cost (belle tire) but I ended up purchasing a better quality tire for a lower price. Kevin also went out of his way to call the other shop to cancel my appointment. They were able to order my tires for next day install and keep my same appointment time so that I did not have to rework my schedule.

Did a good job, but the the price for labor was about 70$ plus an extra 33$ to rotate tires. Over 100$ total for less than 45 minutes of work

The folks at Pomps have gotten to know me, and my car. They know the kind of work Im interested in doing myself, and the kind of work I like sending to the mechanic. For example, I brought in a laundry list of to-dos for my car. Looking over the list, they pointed out one job that is considerably easier than I had thought, and suggested that I just YouTube it. I have been a customer of Pomp’s tires for many years.Service is great. When I have an emergency (such as a flat tire as I did yesterday), they are quick to get me in and get it repaired!

This place is flying completely under the radar. I received outstanding service!!! I had a tire that blew off the rim and needed two new tires immediately. After searching all over Bloomington could not find anybody that could get the tire I wanted for at least 3 to 4 days. This place did not even come up in the top 10 searches for Bloomington tire stores. After digging further I found Pomps. And they were less than a mile from my house. After talking to Connor he said he would order the tires and try to get them in today or tomorrow. Ended up getting them in today and my car was finished and out of the shop and in my hands by 5 oclock. Did not try to upsell me. An amazing price For the exact tire that I wanted. And as I drove home I realized that the shudder I have been experiencing for the last few months is completely gone! My husband passed away and when my tire blew I had no idea where to turn. Completely at everybody elses mercy because I know nothing about the car. What an absolute godsend this place is. Thank you Connor!!! And thank you Pomps! I pray your business increases tenfold.

This was my first time going to Pomp’s and I have nothing but good things to say. I had to get four new tires, an alignment, and new rear struts put on and it was all done within 6 hours of me dropping off the vehicle. I expected that it would at least take till the close of business or even go into the next day! The workers were friendly and answered all the question I had, and actually came out a bit under my total estimate for the work done. All in all I am extremely satisfied and will highly recommend them to anyone who needs the services they provide!

I am quite pleased with my first trip to the local Pomp’s Tire Store! Because of a cancellation, they were able to work me in. The clerk was super supportive of my reasons for wanting an all-weather tire for my Kia Soul (he was familiar with the brand, after having worked for the local dealer for several years) and recommended a Firestone tire, when the brands I’d researched were not available without ordering them. I needed new tires NOW, so went with the ‘stones. The clerk pointed out qualities of the tire (such as the availability of adding studs to the drive wheel tires) and noted that they’d be noisier at highway speeds. All given in a friendly, no-hassle manner by this gent who did stay fully masked during my time there. Which was just over a half-hour, too. I’m impressed!

I was experiencing a slow leak in one of my tires and I stopped by the Pomps Tire near my home. They found the cause of the leak and had it repaired in about a half-hour! I had the tires under warranty, so the fixed it and the charge was covered by the warranty.Good stuff!

Staff is pretty friendly, scheduled me for an oil change and was able to work it in around my work schedule. They knocked it out pretty quick, I only had to wait 20-30 minutes. High mileage service was only about 50 bucks. I will definitely be going here from now on.

I was referred to Pomp’s by a Toyota dealership who said they were unable to repair or replace my tire after a nail was discovered in it during a routine tire rotation. Not only was Pomp’s able to replace my tire, they were able to install 2 new tires and got me back on the road by the afternoon. I’m glad to find out they do more that just tires because they will be getting all of our business from now on. The 2 fellas up front were very kind and helpful and an absolute pleasure to work with!

I took in some lawn mower tires and they had them done before I could drink my cup of coffee! My daughters got into Bloomington at 11:00 pm . As soon as they exited the tire light came on and faulty stem was the culprit. We had the car towed to Pomps. Pomps found our car in their lot called us with a diagnosis and a cost. They repaired our stem and sensor quickly. Thank you for taking care of our college daughter when we were hours away.
