Initially, due to covid and change in agent, had a bit of email and phone tag going on, Connor (in robs branch here )finally helped me reviewed all my policies and was able to assist without delay adding extra coverage. After 22 years with statefarm, staying a bit longer.

Rob is by far the best agent out there in the state of Indiana. He genuinely cares about his customers and he’s not pushy at all. He goes out of his way to make sure that the customer is adequately covered in all fronts in their life. I want to emphasize again that he is not pushy. That’s extremely important when talking about things as sensitive as life insurance. I promise you will walk into his office a client and walk out of his office family.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would.Rob never calls back, even after leaving several voicemails. Never follows through on anything. I got a new debit card in May and contacted him via email to ask how to update my payment. He miraculously responded and said we could do it over the phone. I tried to call and update it, but of course he didn’t answer. Then, when my payment OBVIOUSLY didn’t go through, I was not notified in any way. State Farm has my email, mailing address, and phone number and no one attempted to reach out. Instead, Rob just cancelled my policy without notifying me. I’ve been insured through State Farm for 8 years and have never missed a payment! Due to the fact that my policy was cancelled, I almost lost my job!! I am required to have auto insurance for my job and I was no idea that I didn’t have auto insurance because I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED. I’ve called several times to speak with Rob about this. I’ve emailed several times. State Farm has contacted Rob to tell him to contact me. The secretary told Rob to call me, after I called in tears, and I’ve heard NOTHING from him. He cannot own up to his mistakes. If you want your car insurance to help you out in any way at ALL (you know, the main purpose of car insurance) do NOT have Rob Barber as your agent. Literally anyone else would be more helpful. I would have loved to discuss this with him personally, but since he hasn’t responded, I had to leave a review in hopes of saving others from the same situation I went through.

I recently moved to Bloomington and Robs office was really helpful with my transfer from California! Olivia in his office was super helpful in explaining my new Indiana rates and coverage (which saved me a ton of money). She then had me talk to Jeremy and he set me up with life insurance. I never had anyone explain my benefits before. I was especially impressed that Rob called me today to thank me for my business personally and welcome me to the area. He was proactive about addressing any concerns. As corny as it sounds, this office is a LEGIT Good Neighbor.

I recently ran into a deer and had an extensive amount of damage done to my vehicle. The situation would have been exceedingly stressful, but thanks to this particular office the set of circumstances was handled and taken care of quite efficiently! Way better than Geico!

Who needs Jake from State Farm when I have Rob?! His dedication to his costumer base is 2nd to none. Any time I have a problem, he has an answer. Would recommend to anyone.
