They were called by police to tow my vehicle. I was told at the scene I could get my belongings û going to their facility. When I tried the guy was very rude and said all charges had to be paid first. I couldn’t even get my handicap card for parking until I paid over $600.00. The leafy working the Blaine office was nice but the only one civil that I spoke with.

My alternator went bad and my car died on the freeway last night in the middle of the snow storm. State patrol called Twin Cities Recovery for me. They got there very quickly, considering the road conditions. Rob was professional and got my van towed where I needed to go. Towing a vehicle is never cheap, but I believe their prices was fair. He helped my kids stay calm and not stress out over a bad situation.

Charges were way to high for an 8 mile tow and 18 hour hold.

Went to help a friend whos vehicle was impounded at this unfair so called place of business the vehicle was at this impound lot for 4 days and they charged him 5 days. They wouldnt take any credit card or bank card we had leave and go to the bank and come back with cash only. Wrongly charged for 5 days wen it was 4 days to the sum of $370. On top of all of that they left the ignition on and the battery was dead and they didnt want to help jump the vehicle and get it started and they were closing at 3:00pm in the end they ended up jumping the vehicle but the terrible attitude of these people and unfair business practices forces me to call the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney Generals office to make a report would love a class action lawsuit against them for all to get some money not just us....

Locked keys in the car on my way to work, the day before holiday weekend. They were in Lino in 20 min! They were quick and careful not to damage car.

Got a shredded tire so the fiancé put the spare on just to find out that was flat as well, got to the nearest gas station but their air machine was out( because why wouldn’t it be at this point). Twin cities came to the rescue with a truck equipped with air so they ended up saving me a ton of money on a tow and charged me next to nothing for their time to come out and help us. Definitely recommend ! Hope I don’t need them again but they will be my first call if I do👍🏼

Dakota is absolutely worthless!! I would never recommend this company to anybody as you can clearly see by the reviews. I called the Blaine police captain and asked him to please not use this company anymore and told them what they have put my kids through.

Unbelievable! Over $550.00 to keep my car for 2 days. My title was in my glove box but they simply refused to let me go look for it so they keep my car for another day so they could charge me rates for an extra day. Huge rip off artists. Never ever use this place. Awful service. How does this place stay in business???

Not the best but what can i say, they got the job done. The bad part was that we waited for half an hour before the driver got to our location after the call and our credit card got declined. Our location was only four minutes away from their office. As for my credit card, I assume the scanner on my credit card was scratched therefore not working right. Or there was something wrong with their scanner.Good part was that the driver was nice enough to let me take out cash within a 10-15 min time frame. He told me most drivers would have not done that so i feel very blessed that he was our driver. Dont bank on letting your driver do it to you though. Better to have 200-300 dollars in cash just to be safe if thats an option assuming you had someone to come check up on you. If not then you better hope your card will work otherwise they will impound your car.Pricing was decent. $113 to load it onto the truck, 4 bucks a mile plus 10 dollars tax which the total came out to be $150. FYI they dont carry change. The truck drove for about 7 miles to the drop off destination.

They over charged me for a motorcycle tow. ($380) It was stolen. I had to pay for them to keep my stolen motorcycle. Way to kick people while they are down. If you have a choice or not to use this company definitely do not do so. A company like that does not care about people and thats not a good company to work with. I was a victum and they made sure that I was a victim once again by their hands.

Waited over an hour for tow guy to show up. Car was stalled about 2 miles away from their location too.The office people seemed like slackers but the driver was excellent and professional.

I needed a simple roll-back service, not an emergency type of scene. The other company left me hanging/waiting one afternoon then again the next. 40 minutes after the agreed upon arrangement with the other company I called over to Auto-Medics. 5-10 minutes later their roll-back was in my driveway.My needs werent complicated, but were fulfilled satisfactorily by the operator.I dont feel I got gouged on the cost, but at the same time my eyes didnt light up with joy. For that reason 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise quick and helpful.

I just dropped $400 to pick up my car, and they towed it 2 miles! I wonder how theyll feel when my campaign to investigate their government contract with the sheriffs dept. gets underway. From the sound of things, we can easily create enough noise and maybe even a class action lawsuit to get the contract moved to a different provider at a minimum. Does your sheriff feel confident about being re-elected when the media is asking why a normal, non-emergency, daytime tow should cost a constituent $350+, and $35/day. At that price per sq/ft, I could get my car a hotel room with a pool and free breakfast.People, they wont hear one of us, but when they get their contract threatened, then they might start at least treating people properly. Call the sheriffs dept, the newspaper, and the tv stations. Lets make some noise!!!

I wouldnt even give it a 1 star. They are so over priced wont work with you on anything. Very rude. I didnt receive my title yet from the DMV but had all the papers that said I was the owner of the vehicle the lady told me it was sketchy that I didnt have the title yet even when I had a release form from the sheriffs office. Called and asked if they took credit cards was told yes went there to be told cash only. This place was no help at all. I would not call them for a tow unless you like to be treated bad and talked to in a rude way.

A friends car failed the emissions test and auto medics said he needed a rebuilt carb for $550.00. He brought it to me and I adjusted the carburetor and it passed. You be the judge. The 5 star rating MIGHT hold some weight if it had a name on it not related, however with 5 out of 6 reviews giving a one star rating, and one 5 star, again you be the judge :)

Honestly I wish you could give -star ratings because this company is absolutely ridiculous. I was in an accident that wasnt my fault so, so the person that I hit, their insurance was covering the tow fees and lot charges. I went to auto-medics before Farm Bureau towed the car to their lot in St.Paul. I just wanted my friends sunglasses and my garage door open. They refused to get my items out of the car without paying for the bill. They had absolutely no right to do that. I called the police on them. needless to say AVOID THESE SCUMBAGS AT ALL COSTS. If you choose to use this company YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.

This company is the lowest of the low. The police recovered our stolen vehicle and had it towed to this shady group of criminals.They never notified us of the car being held there and then held it hostage for close to $1000 in charges. The woman on the phone was nasty and rude. When I asked about their policy to inform the vehicle owners, she hung up on me twice.

Daughters car rolled on the highway and they were called by the State Patrol, we had no choice in the matter ended up $370 for a six mile tow for a car that had to be scrapped. They were attempting to also charge another $21 (a 200% markup from what it costs) for notifying me by certified letter that they towed our car.

I had my vehicle towed by them. In the car was my unopened gopro hero 5. Once it came time to get my stuff out of my car the camera was missing. Dont leave any valuables in the car!!

Crooks and thieves!! These pricks quoted me on site $85.00 and $2.00 a mile. I told him to tow it two blocks, he hands me a bill for $133.00. When I questioned him he told me if I didnt like it, he would impound it and make me pay more. I called his manager he was even a bigger prick!!! Never use these pricks when in need of a tow...

The manager of this company swore at me and threatened to impound my car if I didnt call and cancel the police call I had placed because the tow truck driver would not take a check or credit card to put my car down nor let me go to the bank to get cash. I called the police and was threatened by this company that if I did not call and cancel the police call, my car would be impounded. My vehicle was parked right in front of my house, the car was turned on, the windows were open, and my purse was inside, I stepped inside my home to just grab something and run out, this company put a running vehicle, with windows open, and my purse inside on its tow. Im pursuing legal action against this company and have reported them to the approrpiate city, county, and state departments, as well as my association which will likely discontinue using their services. This is not a respectable company, this is like dealing with the mafia, very unethical and tried to run before the police came.

The owner of this company is a huge scum bag. Dont just blow off these bad reviews, because after my experience with them, i believe all of the negative stuff i see written about them. I had my car towed from a parking lot while I was there, and the tow truck driver improperly towed my vehicle, causing damage to my front bumper. The driver knew he damaged it, and when i called the owner to get his insurance info, he was extremely rude, told me its, not his fault, and then in the same conversation told me that the damage was already there, and he was never at the scene! The fact is that I was there witnessed my bumper get torn off, and now the owner has even made the driver change his story. So now I got stuck with paying my deductible. I will be pursuing many avenues to make sure people know about their shady practices, and also be calling people they have contracts with to let them know what kind of people they have working for them. Do yourself a favor and take pictures of your car if you are going to be getting it voluntarily towed, and force them to do a pre-inspection of your car with you there.
