I have tried this out the last few days and my family life started to struggling. My newborn son is not receiving my attention as needed and my mother in law can only do so much. To make any kind of decent money I have to work 5-6 appointments a day and I cannot. I also do not feel like this is a right fit for me. Cutco seems like a great product. The one huge part of why this job is so unappealing to me is the fact that we badger and coerce people into buying the product. I understand the marketing behind it but people become so uncomfortable and easily shut down because we are constantly asking them “what about this and this price” over and over again until they are completely appalled and distressed no matter the attitude we have towards the product. These products are outrageously priced even for the value.The pay is also unjust, we are lead to believe it’ll be “excellent” and it not. We put in all this time, effort, and energy to make next to nothing no matter the sells. This seems like a pyramid scheme. It’s completely bunco. I do not like the fact that we had to recommend friends and even family into a job we don’t even know we’ll enjoy because it “sounds great”. The fact that I did 12 hours of unpaid training as well as the hours to do much training is inequitable. It took away 12 hours from my son and family that I will never be able to get back. The 6 hours of back to back training would’ve been beneficial if we had gotten paid. I have never been so distressed, uncomfortable, disturbed and unpeeled by a job before.I let them know that I would have to stop working Friday (my last appointment). Only one of the managers, Anna Grace Moore, acknowledged me. Due to me making my own schedule (independent contractor) I it did not interrupt their schedules or own appointments.I had an appointment today and desperately needed some assistance due to the customer wanting to get his knife engraved. I did as I was taught and reached out to my manager Anna grace. She did not answer my calls nor did the other manager Emily Rodriguez. They completely abandoned me. Wrote me off because I was of no more value to them. Please avoid working for this place.

I love my job at Vector Marketing in North Birmingham. Working with them is a unique experience. I take satisfaction knowing I am able to gain experience in becoming a successful business woman, while having fun at the same time. I am very grateful to be a part of the North Birmingham Team.

I love this job, it gave me the opportunity to earn good money and pay for college without the help of my parents. It also taught many life skills that I will use for my future and I also met some straight up amazing people who all have the same amount of dedication to something like me.

Vector Marketing is truly an amazing place built around an incredible culture. It has taught me everything from self discipline to leadership. I would highly recommend it to anybody who is looking to boost their self esteem and resume.

The manager is super great and I love how much they care about their people and the pay is pretty good too especially compared to other places in the area.
