Dr. Britt went out of his way on a Saturday to meet me at the animal hospital. My cat had an emergency situation that could not wait. I am so thankful that he got her in quickly and also for his sweet tech Kelli that helped us in the process. My cat (Tigger) is on her way to making a full recovery! Thank you again Dr.Britt!

The warm and friendly staff truly serves each family and pet with the utmost care and respect. Alisa has been on staff for years and strikes the balance as being professional and knowledgeable but also personable with every call to the front desk. Each vet we’ve encountered has treated our dog with cutting edge knowledge and tremendous compassion. And prices? Go ahead and look if you want, but you will not find lower prices in Birmingham. Nobody is taking advantage of you here. They are truly here to love your pet well.

Our pet became critically ill. The staff was fantastic and did everything they could to save our cat, Morgan, but unfortunately it was her time. We really appreciated the care and concern of the docs and staff. Thank you all

I have been taking my pet Harley to Britt Animal Hospital from almost a year now. Everyone at Britt are so welcoming and answer all my questions very patiently. Very flexible with the appointments. Both the Doctors took care of our pet Harley very nicely. He had a small surgery for his mouth and it was reasonable. Got his yearly shots recently and he is doing Great.Thanks Britt Team.I recommend Britt Animal Hospital.

My experience from start to finish was fantastic. Alisa was so friendly when I first called to make an appointment for my new puppy and took the time so I didn’t feel rushed through the system. When is showed up, my VA Khaheem was amazing!! Super friendly and funny too! Dr. Eason was patient with all my puppy questions and my pup was very well taken care of. Everyone was friendly and wonderful and I can’t wait to go back!

Took my dog here today after he got a 3 cut across his shoulder from running in the woods. They got him all fixed up in a few hours and he is good to go. Super nice staff. We will definitely keep bringing him here.

Our family has used Britt Animal Hospital for over twenty years and you will not find better care for your pets. The staff is caring and professional. They truly want the best for your pet and are mindful of the cost of pet care. All the docs are great but our Australian Shepherd Bucky loves Dr. Rob!!

The girls that answer the phone are so polite and caring. The part time male gentleman was so wonderful to me explaining everything to me about my Baby Betsy that has breast cancer and has to undergo surgery.I feel okay about bringing my babies to you guys.

One of the best vets in the greater Birmingham area! Dr. Nolan is so gentle with my animals! My GSP has very ticklish feet - as you can imagine trimming his nails can be a nightmare. On top of that he’s already very shy around new people. Dr. Nolan had a very calming aura to him. My animals instantly relax and our visits are very low stress for routine check ups and grooming! If Dr. Dolittle made another movie... I know who I would nominate as the vet

Alisa and Khaheem are the best at customer service and always remember mine and my dogs name everytime. They make you feel right at home when you walk in the door. Britt Animal Hospital has THE best staff ever. I have personally talked to Alisa and Rikee on the phone most of the time, but they are ALL AWESOME. Not to mention the doctors are phenomenal! If they had a 10 star rating I would give them an 11

Alisa was so kind and friendly and helped get our Golden in for an emergency nail trim. We are brand new to Britt but already feel like family from the wonderful staff :)

I have always been pleased with the level of service and care at Britt Animal Hospital. I recently visited for the first time during COVID and was again impressed at the level of care they take for my pet. For a routine vaccine they came to the car so we didnt even need to enter the clinic. Quick and convenient - I am so glad someone recommended Britt to me a couple of years ago.

I was very glad to finally met dr Blumfield. All requested issues with Markie were addressed. There was a breakdown in communication when I notified the office that I was there with Markie which caused me to sit in car over an hour for what I was told would be a 30 minute visit. However, the no personal touch due to Covid contributes to misunderstanding more frequently.

Britt Animal Hospital gives me peace of mind. I know my precious dogs are in good hands and that everyone really cares.

Overcharged by at least 2x on every line item compared to old vet. Took in for routine checkup and shots and was charged over $300. No bill was presented either before payment since they dont allow you in with your pet

This is not the Britt animal hospital you have been using for yrs They apparently have been bought by a conglomerate in Birmingham that have no clue how to run a vet clinic, the prices are excessive, the service is very poor, and the phone system well voice mail hell

These people really care about your babies as much as you do!! I wouldnt think of taking my puppers anywhere else!

Highly recommend. Their staff genuinely cares about your pet and are very thorough. I immediately loved Dr. Rob when I met him - he cut it to me straight, funny, and was very upfront about everything! When I called with questions they were easy to reach and helped reassure me my cat was okay / gave me good tips. I am so happy my little buddy has found a trustworthy team to take care of him with any future needs he may have.

They truly care for my dog. I always had a good experience for regular checkups but truly realized how amazing they are after my dog was transferred to them from the emergency vet after a car trauma. They calmed my nerves and answered all my questions. On top of excellent care, they called to check on her once she came home. Highly recommend!

If you have an issue, do not seek treatment from Britt Animal hospital. Their communication and customer service is extremely poor, which made getting help with a potential cancerous illness very difficult. I really liked Dr. Josh, but no longer trust him with my pets. I have asked for records in 4 different emails and two phone conversations and have still not received them. I tried to address the issues and was hung up on in the middle of a frustrated conversation by the staff followed by a rude email. Id like to add that I have never left anyone a bad review, but I am incredibly upset about how I have been treated over the last few weeks.

Want to start out saying that we adore dr. Britt.. and very impressed with the other doctor that ended up helping us.. sorry i cant remember his name.. my problem started when we were finally able to get my sister in laws dog inside because she was having a hard time breathing and walking.. stood at the desk waiting on the lady to look over at us and notice we might need some assistance only to be told that if we didnt have an appointment that the doctors were booked solid for the day that we would have to make an appointment and in awe i said..are you serious..you mean we have to go to the emergency vet place..she looked at us and walked away and returned and asked us to have a seat that someone would come talk to us..never once did she think to ask us if we use them or a new client..then a tech came out and remembered our dog and went and talked to the doctor and was seen immediately.. thank goodness for caring techs..i was just confused as to what they expect you to do if your pet get sick..take it to the emergency hospital first??

Have been to Dr. Randy for more than 40 years. He’s taken wonderful care of all my dogs. Always calls to check on them after any special procedures!!

Update: 2/2021When we found out Dr. Josh left, we were heartbroken and out of convenience chose to use a vet closer to us. While the experience wasnt horrible, it wasnt great either. We decided to call Britt and set an appointment for a second opinion for our dachshund with Dr. Buck Brumfield. I am so thankful we did. While the confirmed prognosis wasnt positive, the explanation of what to expect and how we can continue to give our girl a quality life was exceptional. Once again, the staff at Britt was not but wonderful. Even during a pandemic and curbside service, we got great service. Dr. Brumfield called to get a full understanding of our concerns before treating her and allowed us to ask all the questions we wanted to make sure we fully understood. Once he was done he came out to the car to again explain everything and what we should be looking for; additionally when my receipt was brought out, Ricki spoke to me and consoled me as well.We moved from the Bluff Park area to Morgan Road and once again, have made the decision to continue going to Britt for our pets needs. The distance is nothing to ensure our girls are given the best veterinary care.Original post: 3 years agoWe are part of a rescue group here in Birmingham, and they use Britt as their vet for some of the pets in the group. After taking one of our foster pups to Britt, specifically Dr. Josh Morgan, and having a fantastic experience we began bringing our own pets to Britt. That was 5 years ago. We live in Hoover, near Bluff Park, and drive the distance to see Dr. Josh and his staff because of their above par treatment of not only our furbabies, but us as well. The staff there, are always friendly with a smile on their face, ready to help in anyway possible. And while my girls arent super keen on visiting the vet, Dr. Josh does an excellent job on keeping them as minimally traumatized as possible. I would recommend Britt Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a caring, genuine, animal-loving doctor and staff.
