My first contact with Sports Clips, and it was GREAT!The wait was short, the staff was both kind and skilled. They knew exactly what I wanted with very little explanation, and gave me the PERFECT cut! The price was very reasonable too.You can bet Ill be back next month. Ive found my new hair salon.

I went in for my first SportClips haircut. Just trying to register online, I was prompted that I had a 0 min wait time and could come within 20 minutes. They were polite, professional and punctual. My haircut was perfect and I was out on time. Ill be back.

I have never had a great experience here and the staff is constantly changing for obvious reasons. This is not a high end hair salon. They’re very rude to females here and I witnessed three of them talking about a customer behind his back. He was nothing but polite to them and they were loudly mocking him after he left. The other day my husband and I came here and they told us it was a 45 minute wait. There were only three people ahead of us but okay. We came back 45 minutes later after putting his name in and had to wait outside to be called in. They told him it was his turn and that the guest AFTER us could come in and sit, but that I, who had been waiting 45 minutes, had to wait to sit outside. The lady rudely asked if I was getting my haircut. I said no and she said well then the person after you needs to be the one in the actual waiting room and not outside while my husband was getting his hair cut. Absolutely uncalled far. We witnessed another customer come in after that and they told him “I know the wait says it’s 45 minutes but it’s not actually that long,” which was pretty interesting to me because we left for 45 minutes and came back but this other customer suddenly can be taken almost instantly. Just overall rude and not professional.

Been going here for two years and todays service wasnt the best. Asked for a towel to support my neck during the shampoo and she grabbed a dirty one off another work station. The no offer to put my feet up or turning on the massage chair, hot towel was barely warm while my brother who was with with me got 5 star service.

I brought my son here for a cut about 2 months ago, he will be 2 in December. The stylist was super friendly and took her time and we left with a precious hair cut. We will be returning to fix a bad cut received by a different salon closer to home. I highly recommend sports clips! Great service and very sweet stylists!

The app is the way to go. Had a 77 minute wait per the app got there when the app suggested and got right in the chair.

Owners really need to address patience when cutting children’s hair with their staff. I took my 5 yr old last week and it was not busy, we were the only ones there and the lady who cut his hair was obviously annoyed and in a huge hurry and he wasn’t even wild. He was just chilling and not looking a certain way when she needed him to. And he’s a really sweet boy and will do anything you ask. You don’t need to get an attitude and huff and puff at him. I gave 3 stars because his hair did look good but she was mean. I wish I could remember her name. If we go back to sports clips it will be a different location, if we go back.

About 3 months ago, I got a mens cut. #2 guard on top, #1 on side-nothing different or feminine. The stylist (Priscilla) was courteous and did exactly as asked. Then 3 weeks ago, I went for a followup trim. The stylist (unknown) working freaked out. She couldnt cut a womans hair, and my description #2 guard on top, #1 on side wasnt enough. She just kept telling me that the stylist you say you saw doesnt work here and then I dont know what you want and I cant do this. It was very embarrassing, and I wont be back.

I came here at a busy time for my brother. We had a long wait (about 20 minutes), but it was worth it. We got a very fast cut and it looked great! Especially considering he had thick hair and she was done in no time. I wish I caught her name, but she has very short hair. She did great on the spot.

My husbands beard looked so much better when we walked out. Great job

I recently moved to the area, previously went to the trussville location which was always a good experience. This is my second visit, the staff is always rude here and this is my last visit here .

Had a great experience at this location thanks to Daphne. She talked me into the MVP, which I would recommend. The franchise does a great job of consistent service, but Daphne always goes above and beyond! She remembers the way I like my hair cut and always does a great job with the details.

My husband went to another salon that wasnt so great and they messed up his hair so bad. We came here and Joanna did an AMAZING job correcting what was done originally. We will make the 30 mile journey from our home just so we can have her.

So this is the first time my boyfriend has gone to a sportsclips and it was the worst experience I have ever had/seen from a salon. The woman who cut his hair was rude and abrasive and not very up to date with hairstyles. Our first interaction was of her arguing with another customer about their prices and procedures. It took her yelling for another stylist to come and explain our pricing to the gentleman and that stylist apologizing and giving him the cut for free as was what was told to him. She apologized after that and then after scolding us for not marking ourselves in, though we had checked in via the app, she took my boyfriend to the back. He had long curly hair and wanted a trendy short cut that he showed her a picture of. She immediately sneered at the picture and looked confused as to how to accomplish the look. Overall the cut ended up being a buzz all over excluding the top, that took no more than 10 minutes...he is 100% dissatisfied and embarrassed about his hair as well as I am that he even paid for it.Will not be back, worst money spent.

The turn over is extremely high. I used to like this place, but once you find someone you trust to give you a good haircut.....They are gone within 3-4 months. Then the process starts all over. I recently got the worst haircut of my life there after Stephanie left and I was forced to try someone new...again. She also tried to overcharge me. I may have to buzz my head and just start over. It was that bad.

For the most part I have a good experience here, its just like any business, its only as good as the young girl you have cutting your hair. 8 times out of 10 you get a pretty good haircut at a reasonable price.

My first haircut in 10 years. I always just took buzz clippers to my hair prior, but decided to grow it back out. I wasnt sure what to do with it, but the woman working there suggested shortening the sides and trimming up the top. She tried a few different lengths on the side until I liked the length.I did the mvp cut. After the cut, they bring you in the back for a wash, scalp massage, and hot towel. It is really nice and feels great. Bonus, no itchy neck/back afterwards. They then bring you back to the chair and do a vibrating massager on your neck and shoulders for a few minutes.My hair looks much better and I thought the price was very fair. I was in and out in about 20 minutes.

First time I had been to Sports Clip, I was in a hurry and am not used to getting my hair done by anyone except from my retired grandmother. I was in and out within 15 minutes and my looked great!

Audrey has absolute no personality when it comes to treating customers right on the phone. Absolute no help what so ever. Rude and ill never go there until this audrey gets gone. Only reason ill give a 5 star is because the rest of the facility doesnt need to go down with YOU. Audrey. Ive been treated with so much respect from that facility. Such a shame one phone call can make such a difference. Get educated. You dont just cut hair you provide customer service. Youre lucky my wife would not let me one star you.
