We went to the 280 location looking for a specific car for me. At another car place, the salesman would only talk to my husband and did not even acknowledge my presence. Brian at Drivers Way 280 spoke mainly to me (because my car), but also spoke to and acknowledged my husband since we went together. He was very nice and professional and there was no pressure to buy. He answered all our questions and was so helpful when we went back to purchase the car we drove. It was a great experience for us!
Not much of a selection. Vehicles that are there are visibly dirty inside. Prices are also higher than they should be.

This is either the 3rd or 4th vehicle we have purchased through Drivers Way. We go to the Pelham store to talk with Terrence Corprew, hes great. He knows his stuff and never, never any pressure.We told him this past weekend we would like to see two specific vehicles, he got the keys, pulled them around front and told us to find him when we were done.We drove enough to feel comfortable with our decision. Both vehicles were great, but we only needed one. So we made our purchase, he filled it up with gas and off we went.But to show how great this Drivers Way is, we did have a problem about 3-4 years ago with a vehicle. We got it home and the check engine light came on. Our mechanic verified it was a bad head gasket. We took it back to their shop and their mechanic concurred. The GM apologized and took the vehicle back. We purchased another SUV that has been great! Bottom line: They sell great cars, but if something isnt right you can be theyll take care of you.Now, go see Terrence!!!

After a disastrous experience with another car dealer, we found found a car we liked online at the Hwy 280 location. Met Daniel Watson as we walked in the door. Everything was laid back and smooth. Process was very easy. There was no distrust of the salesman or sales manager, good cop bad cop, like other dealerships. The trade in experience was much better than at previous dealership, where they tried to claim things were wrong while admitting to knowing nothing about diesel trucks. Got 5.5k more for my trade because appraiser knew what he was getting. We bought the Ford Explorer XLT we came to look at. They even let us drive it to the Pelham location to compare it to what they had. Great service all the way around. Will definitely purchase from here and use Daniel again.

We went ready to buy, getting papers ready...Husband thought to ask if they could guarantee that the 4x4 worked.Salesperson said no, so he went out and got under the vehicle only to find it broken/disconnected. He came back inside to tell them, and sales manager then tells him we took it to the shop to have it fixed. They were supposed to call us when fixed (again) never heard from them, after a week, we called and they said they called and didn’t leave a message, but it was still in the shop. I told them to call us but leave a message this time. We never heard from them and vehicle 2009 Jeep Sahara 4 door burgundy in color is online not on hold for us like they claimed. Be careful buying this vehicle it probably hasn’t been fixed.
Its fine. Not great. Probably wouldnt buy from again unless I found a fantastic deal. I had a salesman named Eddie. He will blow smoke where the sun dont shine. He checked on me until I bought the car and said multiple times he was going to call to check on me to see how the car was doing and never did. Started having issues with the car and he was no where to be found. Really felt like a regular car buying experience where they only want to sell you a car and dont care about anything past that even though they claim to. Also his attention was on multiple people so he was not just focused on one customer at a time which made me feel like he didnt have time for me and thats a big turn off to buy from someone who doesnt take you seriously. Its also a buying as is which is both good and bad. Friendly people though and decent cars for the price.

Buyer Beware! Took a vehicle in to sell, brought it back 21 days after the “good for one week” quote and they offered $1000 less even though we fixed the check engine light and it only had 10 more miles! This was brought to the appraiser, Joe’s, attention and he said he would not honor his co workers quote and I could take it or leave it. Upon pressing him he mysteriously could not find the original quote. He claimed he had never lost a quote in 8 years. This was the first time it had ever happened 🙄. I imagine this is a common practice at the 280 location.
I wanted to purchase a vehicle and for whatever reason only they dealt with texting me. It was personal information and started to feel uncomfortable. I got pre-approved at a location closer to me, but wanted a vehicle that was located there. They kept asking about my husband and his finances, which we make enough and so do I to be approved. They only would approve me if my husband was on it and so I went through all of that without one phone call. They never cleared anything up with just not helping me. I even said I was going to go somewhere closer and they were like OKay! I mean this is weird right???

I love Drivers Way! When we bought our CRV it was a very pleasant experience. We also bought the extended service plan. Those have worked for us many many times. And again, it has.After about a little over a year, I started hearing a sound and took it to get checked out. The noise was so random that it was hard to catch. They gave me a new starter, and we thought the problem was solved.All I had to pay was a $50 co-pay, or it would have cost me over $600.00. But the sound continued. Like I said, it was very random. So I recorded it on my phone and they took it back .This time they took it to Honda. The problem was found and repaired. I did not owe anything else except for some maintenance service I requested. They were so nice and friendly to deal with, Starting with Don,then Jack, and Joe and the cashier gave me excellent service. I have raved to all my friends, family and co-workers about Drivers Way.When we are ready to get another car, Drivers Way will be the first place i will go. I LOVE DRIVERS WAY!!

Bought a Chevy Avalanche from here and within the first week my engine light comes on. Im guessing they reset the code to hide that and had to pay for an emissions repair. Then a couple weeks later my transmission goes completely out and has to be replaced, so before Ive even made my first payment Ive paid almost $3000 in repairs because they are dishonest and practice terrible business.

I wanted to get a used SUV with under 20,000 mile on it and Joe Coogan found exactly what I wanted. There was no dealer-type pressure or back room conferences with the salesmans supervisor etc. that I had dealt with as in the past when purchasing new cars. Trading for this vehicle was a pleasure. I got a practically new Pathfinder still under warranty that looked new, runs perfectly and a pleasure to drive. Drivers Way price was $7,000 less than the new vehicle price not including the trade-in value of my old car. Joe was a very professional, helpful with the paper work (he did it all !), explained the routine that Drivers Way vehicles are thoroughly inspected and serviced before they put them on the sales lot. He answered every one of my questions to my satisfaction. The salesmen there are very aware that a satisfied customer is their best advertisement.The were so good to work with that we bought another vehicle 3 days later. Same experience with that car - again with Joe Coogan.If we ever need to trade cars again, we will see Drivers Way first and ask for Joe. I am sure all the other salesmen there have the same ethics and professionalism as Joe.I have already recommended them to several friends.

Over the last five or so years, our family has purchased (3) cars from Drivers Way. Before dealing with the new manager today, we had never had any issues.We planned to trade in a 2010 Mercedes C-Class for a well-priced and well-equipped 2016 Volvo CUV. This location was advertising haggle-free pricing. However, someone apparently forgot to tell the new manager. We showed up with the old car, freshly cleaned out, when the nice salesman met us with a little surprise. Suddenly, the new manager said our old car is now worth $5,000.00 less this week than last week! The car has not missed any regular maintenance. Our mechanic even said hed feel comfortable letting his kids take a road trip in it. I guess the new Drivers Way manager is afraid of missing some sales goal. He probably will if this is the way this place is run now.Obviously, we could not accept the offer. We asked the salesman what we could do. The answer is to apparently haggle with the manager.....So much for the NO-HAGGLE pricing.I guess he does not appreciate all of our business.I guess he does not care to retain long-time, loyal, well-paying customers, especially when we specifically stated to him that CarMax would honor Drivers Ways original offer. He might as well have asked us to take our business elsewhere.He does not adhere to his own advertised deals.Save your time, your wallet, and a lot of headaches. Just go to CarMax. At least theyre fair and honest. We will not be returning to Drivers Way. Ever.Management, if you read this, the only reason you got (2) stars instead of (1) is the rest of your staff. Theyre fantastic. You, however, need to learn a little about dealing with repeat customers. Heres a hint: dont do what you did today. Treat us with respect and dignity. You lost tens of thousands of dollars worth of future business today (kids are about to graduate college with STEM degrees. They will be buying nice, new cars soon. Too bad you were too greedy and shortsighted to work with us. They will also be going to CarMax.) Way to go!!!
