Captain John Fryer will rip you off. This guy cancels a trip via text at 1AM the day of. What professional boat captain is up at that time before a trip. Supposedly because of the weather we ended up taking another boat out to save the trip. He has giving me the run around about refunding our money for two weeks now, after he said he would refund us. If he does take you out fair warning he will spend half the day looking for a buddy to bring him beer.

This was not a good experience. Everyone should check his policy before going on a fishing trip with this guy. If you can find it on his website. Makes it up as he goes along. Not professional at all to say the least. Never went over safety with us at all. Not mentioning almost being hit in the head by the mate. Over all just a bad trip.

Captain John is the Best!!!!! We have been out with him three times now and you can bet we will be back again!. He is great at putting you on the fish and is all about making sure you have an amazing time. He has always went above and beyond. He has gone from our charter Captain to our buddy. Thanks John

One expensive boat ride. We probably rode for 4 hours of a 6 hour trip. We only caught a few, which I understand that you can’t make them bite but you don’t keep doing the same thing over and over if the fish are not there. I have hunted and fished with guides before and if one thing is not working you change up or in fishing change species. Also with past guide I have NEVER been told at the end of the trip that there is a mandatory gratuity fee of 15% (I USUALLY TIP MORE THAN 15%) which was not disclosed upon the initial set up of the trip along with the website saying the trip is for 1-6 people and then being told it was extra for the 5 person in are group. Maybe it was just a bad day for them but I will not be a returning customer

John is an excellent fisherman and This was hands down one of the best times I have had fishing! We will definitely be booking our next fishing trips with him again!

To celebrate our anniversary and my spouses birthday, We booked a last minute trip on a Saturday for the next day and John was happy to oblige. He answered the phone at 630 in the morning and was happy to assist in booking our trip. He was thougthful enough to call back the morning of the trip to warn about the hot weather forecasted at our booked time to see if we wanted to push back our scheduled time from the heat of the day or keep it as scheduled.On our trip, Captain John was very outgoing and helpful with all of our needs and paid special attention to the less experienced anglers in our party. We definitely plan to book him again on a longer trip in the future.
