Nothing like having your car illegally towed and sold for scrap metal the same day. Completely unprofessional thieves. Do not recommend any business be done with this company. Id give zero stars if I could.

Had a transmission issue. I paid to get it fixed 2 weeks later my check engine light came on. I took it back and they said they fixed it. After a week same thing happened. All they did was reset my check engine light. They got 8 grand out of me. That much money would of paid for a new Transmission. They are crooks worthless workers. Only worker that worked there that was good was Chris. He knew how to do his job.

So glad I saw a post on fb about how crooked they are. Please dont do business with these guys.. they have hurt multiple local families and always say its not their fault.

I went to Jims because of the positive reviews and because it was close to my work. They replaced the clutch in my truck. Once the part arrived the work was done pretty quickly and the truck is running great.

I cant express in words how amazing the folks at Jims Auto are. I came from Helena to visit family in Billings and my car broke down. Trudy and the guys truly went above and beyond to help me get home safe. Not only were the prices fair but the customer service was hands down the best I have ever received. Trudy came in on her day off to meet me so I could get my car and when there were still issues with it they managed to sort it to rights that day. I was surprised to get a phone call to say they were on their way to where I was staying to bring my car to me!! On a Saturday evening no less! I made it home safely the next day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything yall did! I highly recommend Jims Auto and will certainly go to them again!!

I had a major issue with my car that another place said they fixed and didn’t. Here these guys fix what they say they are going to fix and they get it done very quickly. They even gave me a ride while my car was in the shop. Best place ever and very easy for me to get to since it’s on the corner of my block. I’m gonna refer all my friends to this place!

Being from a small town I am always drawn to small shops like Jim’s. They are always friendly, courteous, and get the job done quick and at an awesome price! I have taken my 97 Chevy truck into them for multiple jobs and Dennis and his crew know what they are doing for sure. Will be a return customer for as long as I own my pick up!

I had originally booked my vehicle to go to a different mechanic, but that mechanic couldnt bother to call me back so I contacted the good folks at Jims and it took a little while to locate the part because apparently its a difficult part to find, but they did the job they did it right and the price was very affordable. I will go back here if I need something done that I cant do myself

Fast and friendly service at an affordable price! Trustworthy and knowledgeable folks. I brought them a problem vehicle and now I have a dependable car!

Called at 9:30 last night to leave a message to let them know wed be in at the shop in the morning, due to a check engine light and an engine rattle. Not only did Chris answer the phone, but he assured me hed be there and wed get it fixed up. When I arrived this morning, we were taken care of promptly and sent on our way with a diagnosis and some treatment. Better and faster than any doctor Ive ever been to!

They did a wonderful job and thankfully were able to get me in the same day. Very friendly 😊

Very good service. Friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and very thorough. They fixed my truck faster than I expected and very reasonably priced.

My son is a freshman at RMC and his car broke down. We dont know anyone in town and definitely were not familiar with any mechanics. I stumbled across Jims auto repair on Google and it seemed to have good reviews so we had it towed there. The break down occurred past normal business hours but I thought I would call to let them know the car was on the way. Chris answered the phone after hours and gave us instructions to drop the car off. Chris had warned he may not be able to get to the car for a few days because of existing work load but ended up repairing the car the next day for what I thought was a very fair price. Kimberly and Chris were awesome and we have a new mechanic in Billings. If you dont know where to take your car for repairs in Billings, I would suggest Jims.

Best place i have ever been to. Worked with me on everything and took great care of me and my vehicle! Trust worthy people who will explain and show whats wrong and not screw you over on anything! Wpuld definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to have their vehicle fixed!!!

The staff is amazing and has always been there when I have needed them for last last 16 years. Would never use anyone else.

It was just a small job but the mechanic helped me out right there on the spot. He did not try to convince me to spend money I did not have. In fact, he did not charge me at all! These people are just good human beings!

Chris is the only mechanic I trust to take my vehicles to. He no longer works for Jim, however. Hopefully hell be set up soon. Hes the sole reason I took my car there.

I have had to come here a few times, and they ALWAYS find the easiest, least expensive solution and keep my car in great shape. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Had my wheel bearing and hub assembly replaced here. Jim was very kind to us, as always. He sent a wrecker right over to our house to pick up our car, beings we couldn’t drive it. It was fixed within a couple hours and we are very happy with the services we received. Thanks again Jim!!
