This place is the best. Luis, Jose and David are the most honest mechanics around. I seen the bad reviews people had left on here. In my opinion is all false. People crying about prices others saying theyre crooks. Again its all false. These guys are doing their job. They have no control of the prices. Its like going to dealer but the difference is Midas is cheaper. If you cant afford to maintain your vehicles then do it yourselves or dont have a car. Again this is my opinion. These guys are the best. As long as these guys are here. I will continue coming here. I would give them 10 stars.

This location ROCKS. I had an excellent experience here today. My car had been sitting for some time, and I when I started driving it again, it made a terrible noise in one of the rear wheels. I took it to the dealer service center, and they told me I just need to drive it more... its just a bit a rust. Anyhow, fast forward and Im driving it regularly and good distances and the noise isnt getting any better.I pulled into this Midas location today, and in less than two minutes, the crew has my car on the lift, both rear wheel off and are coming to get me from the waiting room. They very politely told me my rear breaks were just metal-on-metal, which was a shock to me, because Id only driven the car about 1000 miles since they were related (at the dealer service center). The Midas team very nice when I asked to see it because I couldnt believe I had apparently had shoddy service at the dealer... not once, but twice!They proceeded to give me an extremely fair quote to re it ASAP, in under 2 hours. So of course I gave them the job. This Midas team is: friendly, fair, honestly, does not judge, extremely professional.I have to say I was hesitant to bring my car to a Midas as Ive hear horror stories, but reader, do remember, each one is locally managed, and the manager at this location makes all the difference. I would recommend this place to friends and family without hesitation!Now Im off to write the dealer service center a nastygram :)

Called & made appt for oil change, they knew the make and model of my car prior. When I got there he tells me we dont have the oil your car takes. Want to reschedule?No! Ill never go there again. And I went elsewhere.Happy to say Jiffy Lube took me right away. 😁

Give them a second look!!! I was hesitant to give them another chance after having bad experiences in the past but let me tell you I am so glad I did!! I was in and out of there in 20 minutes, they were wonderfully professional and kind and they did a great job. Ill be back as a regular!

I drive a large handicap Ram Promaster high top. It is a large van that I use for my disabled sons transportation due to his need for large medical equipment.I called Midas and scheduled a 9am oil change and told them what vehicle I drove and how large it was. They said that they had no idea if they could service it or not and that I would have to bring it in so they could see if it was possible (which was weird being that they are an auto repair shop and im sure they could have just looked it up on google).To avoid me possibly wasting my time, I asked them if I could run home and grab my other vehicle (jeep compass) in the case that they could not service the large van. I told them that I lived less than 5 mins away and they told me that this was fine to do. When I arrived for my appointment, lo and behold, they said the van was too big. I then proceeded to tell them that I would go home and grab my other vehicle.Their response to this seemed as if that idea was very inconvenient for them due to their large work load. They then told me that if I brought the jeep in, I would have to wait a very long time until they could get to it. I then said that this was a waste of my time, by which the Midas employee responded slightly aggressively What Did You Say? To avoid further conflict, I got in my vehicle and left.I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone. Transparency is everything, and they should have told me before hand that they were too busy before I came in.

This place was great! I got my car towed for my starter wouldnt work but I had one in the car. They were able to charge me the labor and got it fixed even thru their closing hours. As I waited I was also informed of the other problems I had with my car and scheduled appointments accordingly

The guy who was working the front desk today (he might be the manager) his name starts with a J and he was wearing a Yankees face mask, was so incredibly nice and helpful. Firstly I bought a Groupon for a conventional oil change when my car is synthetic, he immediately called me and let me know my mistake and told me not to worry about it he can give me the discount price there for synthetic! When I was there I asked for a quote for my breaks because they’ve been squeaking here and seeing as how I didn’t even know what oil my car took he could of easily taken advantage and told me a couple hundred bucks for my breaks and I would of said ok, but he was super honest and told me they were perfect and I didn’t need them to be done! Being a young woman it’s definitely intimidating going into car shops I’ve absolutely been screwed by shops a few times. So I appreciate J so much! He was super kind and honest and you don’t get that everywhere! I’ll be continuing to take my car here because of today!

I ended up with a flat tire that someone nicely helped me change to my spare when I was calling other places I kept getting that they were too full to take me. when I went to Midas they were able to look at my car that day and get back to me about all of my issues. (flat tire, change headlights, check engine light, oil change) It turned out my tire had nails in it which explained why it went flat, they also informed me that 2 of my other tires were run down, they offered to take care of all 3. the engine light, which I had other places look at and they just passed off as I was not tightening my gas cap enough, turned out to be a valve problem that could be fixed. everyone I spoke to treated me well and did not talk down to me but explained what was happening to my car and gave a solution on how to handle it. They kept in touch and when I left I felt confident in my car, rather than wondering when something else was going to break on it.

I got my brakes and rotors done from here but first they will put copy parts and if you complaint them they will tell the truth that these are not original parts and are copy parts and if you ask for original parts they will ask for more money. So I suggest go and check some other places rather than this back and forth thing. I wont recommend this place as my experience was really bad.

Date of incident/review 7-6-2020Walked into office. Me and behind the counter said he’s the manager. I asked him to step outside to show a visual and explain my concerns. He refused saying he only wanted to put it on the rack. Not very helpful.Not a way to win over a new customer!😡What management WANTS is much more important than what the Customer NEEDS!!

I had the pleasure of waiting for my oil change and break service with the owner, who was SUPER Accommodating, great company and made great recommendations. I go to them for everything, I used to go to the one in Quincy, MA but they had closed down so I came to the one in Billerica for an oil change, and then tires, and now a clean/adjust, so that should tell you how spectacular their customer service is especially Brian! He takes care of you. Being a young female, the one thing I try to do is be extra careful when giving money to mechanics but with Brian, no need. He will always try to get you the best deal at the lowest cost! And he is honest, if your car needs the work done, get it done; JUST MAKE SURE YOU GET IT DONE BY HIM!!!! Thank you Midas, been my trusted shop since my first car in 2016.

I bought the coupons from group on and it clearly stated Oil change, Tire Rotation and Break inspection. But, they just did Oil Change! Also, didnt even bother put the sticker on windshield informing due for next oil change or mileage. Need to improve on communication on wait times and appointment booking!

Was told by the manager the oil change would take about 15-20 minutes. An hour later he’s strolling around and I ask him if my car is almost done. He says “our process takes about an hour” would have been 10x easier if i knew that when i got here. The lackadaisical effort at this location is absurdly apparent. Will be using pretty much any other company from here on out.

First-time customer here. I was told by another repair shop that I needed to replace all 4 struts on my 2011 Subaru Legacy. I made an appointment expecting to fully pay for the strut replacement. Instead of just doing the work and taking the $ale as many would have, the team at Midas in Billerica checked it over, road tested it several times and determined that my struts are fine and dont need replacement yet. No charge! Instead of taking the keys and heading out, I had them give the car an oil change that was coming due. Thanks for the honesty and consideration! Nice to meet you Brian, I will be back.

**Have NOT fix my exhaust problem, made it even WORSE**I went to Billerica Midas on 06/10/2013 to repair exhaust leakage. At first, the manger asked me that he needs to a smoke test to check where the exhaust leaks and the fee is $45. Of course, I let him to do the smoke test otherwise the leakage position cannot be detected easily. After smoke test, the manager said they found the leak and can change some parts and do some work to fix the leak. Well, I thought they could fix and then let them do it. The price they charge me at that time was $319.17.Then they spent a morning to wed and use some glue to patch the leakage. But, that was not the end. After they finished the first around, I asked if the leakage is fixed or not as the engine seems still very loud. The manager said it could be 50/50. Well, I how could I spend more than $300 but not to fix the problem? Then the manager said your muffler could also be leak as the smoke test cannot find it as it happens inside. And the manager said he can make a deal to also change the muffle with the price of $550 for the total. At this step, I had no choice as I want to make the leak fixed. So I let them do it and ask them to get $50 off. Then they cut my muffle off and weld a new one on it.The story does not end. After they finished and I paid $501.96, I went to the inspection station. The inspection guy said it still leak. Even worse, it is that exhaust gas together with strange smell leaks into interior of the car even if I fully open the window. They charged me $501.96, but not fixed the exhaust leakage but made it worse than repair it before. Now the leaked exhaust gas made me suffocate if I do not fully open the window. I am so frustrate about this service at Billerica Midas.

Worst oil change experience ever. I got a coupon from them for a price that includes oil change and tire rotation. They charged me more than what the coupon stated because the SUV requires more oil than a sedan, which, of course, is written in the fine print. Thats fine. Ive seen this before. Not a big deal. But they wouldnt honor the tire rotation, which is clearly stated in the coupon to be included. The explanation is Midas decided not to honor the tire change any more. Unacceptable. If you change your policy, at least honor the coupon you already gave out. OK, the worst came: Every time they did an oil change, they make my car a mess with black oils, my seat, door, steering wheel are all covered with black greasy oil. Gross! At first I thought it was a careless technician that made a mistake. I gave them a second chance the next time I needed an oil change since they are the closest to my home. However, they screwed it up again! Again! All covered with black greasy oil!!! Totally unacceptable! Never ever going there again. Please stay away. Or try it once. Believe me you will stay away from it after you gave it a try. Greasy interior guaranteed!

They took a long time to get the oil change done while I listened to the mechanics arguing and complaining amongst eachother. Said they could change wiper blades but after the oil change was done they said they could not do the wiper blades unless I waited another 40 minutes. Also oil change was expensive and they did not offer a military discount

Full synthetic oil change w/ Groupon completed without issue, alignment need was communicated & then performed ($100), frozen component was identified which would require part replacement to complete alignment for fourth tire. Brian and crew were very friendly. I stupidly overcharged my A/C system with the do it yourself kits. After being told by one shop they wouldnt touch my car because they dont know what kind of refrigerant and sealant are in the do it yourself cans, I stopped by here since its right down the street from my work. Brian said it should be no problem and they fit me in right away with no appointment needed. My A/C blows ice cold now and they were about $40 cheaper than the shop I took my other car to for the same service. Thanks guys!

Worst car service experience ever. DO NOT bring your car any where near this place.I took my Maxima for brake service. Had to take my car there multiple time to fix the mistakes they made. was not satisfied with the brake job. Now after 2 yrs the brakes went really bad and had to replace the whole brake system. waste of $$$$ and time. I guess they use very cheap parts and labor but charge you for the premium.Another time before this they broke my glove compartment door mechanics when they replaced the cabin filter.I wonder why theses guys are even allowed to do car service business here.

I bought a groupon for oil change in this place and I had a terrible experience with unprofessional service! Besides the oil change, I told them to check what is wrong with the oil indication. First they replaced the oil sensor which was working fine and charged me $200 for nothing. Then, oil indication was still on, so they checked the oil pressure. They found out it is lower than normal and recommended to perform a serious operation which would cost a lot. The next day I decided to proceed with that so I called to book appointment and they said they would call me back but I never heard back. They were probably avoiding since it would take long time to fix.Luckily, I went to Audi Natick to double check and they found out that oil pressure was perfect, and the problem was somewhere else... They also found out that the Midas service used an aftermarket oil filter which is smaller than the one Audi recommends and could affect oil filtration...Buyers, please stay away from this place. It might save you some money, but it will cause you serious problems later on.Oil change is important for your car, so dont risk it!I wish I could do something about it but Im sure it will go nowhere. The only thing I can do is leave a review and let others know about it.

Where they say Boston location but when I called they are 40 miles away from Boston.They ask you to get an appointment and they said an oil change will take just 15 minutes but with alignment check may be 1 hour. I got an appointment. I showed up 15 minutes earlier than the said time. Guess what I had to wait for 40 minutes and then they took 2 hours while there was no other customer I could see.Reckless endangerment: I paid extra for tire rota. The guy comes back and says you need all the brakes changed although you dont need to. I said ok. He gave me a hefty estimate of $750 for brakes and rotors what in the name of God! But nevermind. My brakes felt good before this oil change. I said I will get it done at Honda. He goes ok. As its January I asked him to check the tire pressure as well. He nods a yes. With a discontent that I am not coughing out for brakes.Then as soon as I got my car back my car almost skidded off the road on a dry road while making a turn. I could barely stop my car without getting off the lane by 5 ft almost hitting vehicle in the front and on to my right. Within 5 minutes the tire pressure indicator came off and my vehicle became hip hop bouncy. I thought the shock absorbers gone as well.I checked the air pressure. Guess what!My cars tires ask for 33PSI and what do I find when I went to get my cars brakes fixed while my car was trembling and bouncing.RF31 RR30 LF38 LR39....39!!!! I wanted to go sue their bums for endangering my life and or ably ruling the suspension of my car.Scumbags... Be professional and learn your job before touching another car. Or you are just racists and wanted another colored doctor off the face of earth.

Purchased a Groupon for oil change, tire rotation, and brake check because it seemed like a good deal. Scheduled an appoint online and they gave me a two hour time frame 3:30-5:30 and was sent an email confirming this time slot. Drove an hour from my home to location and when I arrived I was told I did not have an appointment and was told they were all booked up. I was told i could come back tomorrow or wait two hours and possibly have my car taken. Considering it took me an hour travel time i told them i could not come back the next day and could not wait around for 2 hours in an area that i was not acquainted with. Horrible customer service i would definitely not return and I am currently trying to find out how to refund the Groupon . DO NOT GO THERE !!!!!!

Brian T. treated me with nothing but respect and honesty. My Mazda 3 rear shock broke from a nasty pothole on 495N. Brian took the time to explain the repair, parts needed and how long it would take. I am very happy with the experience and I will go back again if something else needs it. Thank you.Update: I needed more work done now 2 years later. NEVER trust the MIDAS touch of Billerica MA, (Ladies BEWARE)There is something very wrong in trying to take advantage of people and its made much worst by those that try to take advantage of women.My wife took her car to get a simple oil change at MIDAS that is it. However, we end up with a car leaking oil all over the place.The car was brought into Midas for the oil change. a lovely inspection of the car is made and as indicated on their report there is no oil leak. Then the story comes that the drain plug for the oil pan is loose. Hummmm!!!!!! Yet no oil leak. They proceeded to tell my wife that it needs a new plug and maybe even a new oil pan. Okay new plug is in (which is bigger than is required) and all they can say is that it is a 50/50 chance it will work. Now we have a car leaking about 1 quart of oil a week all over my drive way. Thanks MIDAS.Here is the kicker, I went to get some information from them directly and as my question got straight to the point, the assistant manager gets defensive and blames everyone but themselves for the problem. Well done MIDAS, well done.I ask again MIDAS, If a car comes to your shop not leaking oil (with a supposed loosed drain plug), why will it leave your shop leaking 1 quart of oil a week after? Again MIDAS, WELL DONE!!!!!!. oh and excellent customer service too.

Highway robbery! Do not take your car to that place.I brought my car to Midas Billerica for an oil leak repair. The dude charged me parts and labor then told me to drive the car for a few days if I still had the leak to bring the car back. Actually, the leak got worse. When I brought the car back a few days later, he said they fixed the wrong problem and that I needed to pay labor and parts again for them to repair the leak!The dude knew the car was not fixed the first time. That is how they operate.Take your car somewhere else.

I made an appointment at around 720 am for service at 1145 and never got a response back. I called around 11:40 and kept getting transferred through phone lines. The last person on the phone just told me he was sorry and that he was full. He didnt know of my reservation and he wasnt trying to accord are . Just kept saying he was sorry.
