My daughter and I both go here and we love it ! staff is very friendly! The doctor/dentist is very gentle never felt any pain when getting Novacaine. She did a fantastic job ! I’ve been there a few times as well as my daughter !! excellent!!

Things were great until a mismatched crown was cemented and “nothing could be done about it”. Was promised a refund so I can get the work redone elsewhere. I have not received a refund nor any clear communication as to when I will be expecting anything back. I have reached out to both the Dental office and the owner Rahul (Rick) Khanna. Very unprofessional and disappointing!! I understand “things happen”. However, I am very unhappy at the lack of responsibility this business establishment has displayed and the run around I’ve experienced.Reply to owner:That is not true at all. Please see photos for reference.Please understand that I am losing sleep over this and I am extremely stressed.You have yet to reach out to me directly other than via this google review. Hence why I am coming back on to continue begging for my refund so I can be seen elsewhere.I paid for 2 crowns and received one. Remove this crown. I do not want a freebie! I want things done right. My second tooth has had its temporary crown for exactly a month. My gums are bleeding every time I floss by the temporary crown. I can’t keep doing this.Please do the right thing. I’ve agreed to remove the review upon resolution. How you run your business is not my business. I just want/need my refund. I need to get my teeth fixed. Please! There has to be a resolution. They meet basic needs couldnt help with tooth extraction and told me i was on my own to look into other referrals/resources. Front desk stopped picking up my phone calls, when i just wanted her to forward my info to another dentist. I know she was avoiding my call all day because when she answered the first time she knew my name as soon as she picked up. Going back to my previous dentist that had more resources.

I have had anxiety of the dentist since I have been a child, they made me feel very comfortable. They worked with me at my pace and did everything I asked for . I did not feel a thing, also no pain nexted day as well, I will definitely be going back to finish the rest of my teeth that have been neglected so long because of the fear.

I have a fear of dentists and haven’t been for some time. And part of the fear was judgement. I had the best experience I could ask for at Smiley Dental. Everyone was amazing!! From the receptionist to the dental assistant to dentist herself exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them

I was looking for a dentist and I came across Smiley Dental. They have mixed reviews but since they are closer to my home and accept Delta Dental, I thought I will give it a try. I visited them and I could not be happier with their service. The Doctor was super knowledgeable, high energy and she knew what she is talking about. I ended up getting my entire treatment done from Smiley.

The smart lady at the front was really nice. She got me in for a same day emergency dentist appointment. The dentist was very articulate and she described in detail what is going on. Highly recommend.

Yes they take MassHealth! And from my first phone call with Shawna who manages the front desk, I was sure I found the right place. She is SO informed about all of the options available, whats covered, what is not, etc. AND she was empathetic to my concerns about probably having to get dentures for the first time since Im only in my 50s, but promised that the dentist would go over all of my options and make me happy with my choice. I met with Dr. B (Barounis) and she did just that. Dentures are covered under MassHealth and she showed me a prototype and explained the process thoroughly. I decided to take the plunge and we are starting the journey!I had originally gone to Dr. Dental in Lynn and they were going to pull my teeth that day, no option for a healing denture, no prototype to help make me SEE what I would have, and I left there in tears. SMILEY DENTAL will take care of YOU!!*Side note about MassHealth - dentures ARE covered, but because I am not comfortable having nothing in place while my gums heal, I did opt to pay for a healing denture. That is not covered, at least under my plan, but Shawna can explain more.

DO NOT GO HERE! called smiley dental about two weeks ago about a tooth that has been bothering me. I called back saying I needed an emergency appointment because I was in so much pain. While booking it the receptionist said “oh the doctor will just have to come early and deal with it”. Then she called me back and made it for 30 minutes later. Then 20 MINUTES before my appointment and after I took the train all the way there they called and said the doctor was sick and they couldn’t see me. Even though it was an EMERGENCY appointment. Then the receptionist gave me attitude and told me she had to come to work early so she could call me to cancel. Very Very Unprofessional!

Very convenient. I like that they send text messages. The girl at the front was very sweet. This is my 4th dentist in last 2 year but I think I am gonna move my entire foamily to them.

I scheduled a cleaning and they asked if I’d like to add on X-rays. I said no, I only need a cleaning. They called the day before and confirmed my appointment. I took time out of my work day to show up, and upon arrival they told me I can not have my teeth just cleaned and I have to do X-rays too.. because they couldn’t “risk it”. Risk what? Sorry but this is poor customer service and probably just wanted the few hundred extra from me. Would not recommend.

Smiley Dental is hands down the best dental office. The dentist had good chairside manners. I am not a fan of dentist lol but Smiley makes the very best of the visits. if you are not going to this dentist, you are definitely going to the wrong one lol

I went to ANOTHER DENTIST and walked out with a $7000 estimate. I then called a few dentist around and came to Smiley Dental in Beverly. They agreed with 2 other dentists that I dont need a root canal. Aspen was upselling me. I got done with just filling with just copayment. It is hard to find honest dentist but you can trust Smiley for honesty.

I needed an emergency dentist so I called few places around. No one had an appointment for same day. They took me in for 11am and addressed my problem. Thank you. Nice office.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Smiley Dental! They are extremely welcoming and warm, putting you at ease even if the dentists office is an uncomfortable place for you. They take time to answer all your questions (even when you have a million, like me). Most importantly, they do great work!

The most unorganized place ever . Unless you want to tell your manager you need to leave work early for an appointment for them to reschedule don’t go here . They rescheduled my appointment multiple times on the day of then told me I had to pick a different day then on my child’s appointment canceled 2 hours prior ! Rescheduled my entire family to a new office and couldn’t be happier .

After having a very bad experience with the dentist office that I was with for 10 years (Pediatric Dentistry of the North Shore) I came here to be completely welcomed and my kids have felt very comfortable when visiting. Office staff is all very pleasant and upbeat. I am not one that likes change but this was definitely a good change for my kids!

First time to this dentist and they were great. I have a terrible needle phobia and the did their best to keep me calm and distracted while having to inject me. The work they did on my teeth looks great. I have already recommended them to my girlfriend.

I hadnt been to the dentist in 15 years due to life circumstances and insurances. My dental needs were met without shame. The staff act in a highly professional manner. They listen to you concerns, ask questions to get to the root of the problem, and have a true compassion for their patients. So glad I found them.

Unprofessional dentist office. The dentist overseeing my two sons refused to speak to me on the phone regarding treatment due to “company policy”. When I asked to see the policy they were unable to furnish it in writing. The dentist changed course and declared it her “ personal policy”. When I arrived to hear her concerns she was not able to differentiate between my two sons. I asked for their corporate contact information and I was first given the Beverly office business card. After refusing that, they gave me the cell phone number to some mystery man- who ended up being the dentists husband. Very shady practices. Needless to say, we are not going back.

I had pain on the weekend and was looking for an emergency dentist in Beverly. I made lot of phone calls and decided to go see Smiley Dental in Beverly. They are located in a plaza center where Shaws is with bunch of other stores. There was enough easy parking. My visit went very well. I really like the doctor. She was honest and very sweet. I am glad they accept Delta Dental of Massachusetts. I booked an appoint for my boyfriend who has MassHealth and they accept MassHealth too.

My experience in the office was professional and nice. BUT I had cavities filled just yesterday- last night (hadn’t eaten or drank anything) I felt a poking in my cheek, so with my tongue I touched the filling area and the whole piece fell out in my mouth. Stuff happens- so I left a message expecting them to get back to me today. I have left two more voicemails and called 9 times today as my huge whole between my teeth is very uncomfortable, and no one has called me back AT ALL. There is no doctor on call and it is now 6:00pm with no response. I even contacted other “smiley dental” locations today and no1 could help me. I am VERY unsatisfied and in pain. I’ve never experienced such horrible patient care.
