The manager Kenneth Gibson at the Beverly Hills Sixt location is excellent. I rented a new Range Rover for a month and everything went smoothly. He made sure I was satisfied with the vehicle and even called me the next day to make sure everything was okay with the car. Kenneth is a knowledgeable hard working professional and just a really nice guy. I highly recommend you talk with him when renting a car or suv.

Not only is the customer service at Sixt top notch but the cars are the newest top of the luxury line. This was the first time I rented from Sixt India the rep who helped me was very helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. Great people, good prices and beautiful cars all add up to Sixt being far above the rest!

Ive rented vehicles from this location about 5 times over the past year, and have had a positive experience with the Sixt representatives each time. One of the representatives, India, was especially helpful, friendly, and informative on 2 separate occasions. I’ve had great experiences with Sixt. You don’t always get the exact car you sign up for, but always something equivalent or better. Nice staff. Easy pick up and drop off. Rates are higher on holiday weekends etc., but are always pretty good. They have unlimited miles which was great when dropping off my son to college in Oregon.

The car(BMW X3) had terrible smell when I rented it, and when I returned the car. Sixt charged me a smoke fee of $250, but I never smoke. Sixt has poor customer service and no one reply.

I give this 3 stars only bc I was given a rather nice rental but it turned out to have brake issues. Every fine I braked for a red light the car would make this high pitched brake noise that was obviously audible and i didn’t feel comfy to drive it. Plus that is not the experience I wanted out of a rental, to worry about the car making brake sounds each time I braked. But all in all, since that was the only vehicle available at the location I choose to pick up from I took it to another and got a downgraded but the vehicle turned out to pleasantly surprise me in the end bc though it was in a lower class it had all the zip and functionality of a nice ride and luxury feel. Customer service this time around was much better overall with the exception of being able to have available and accommodate more vehicles.

The Beverly Hills team was fantastic! Although the type of car I requested was not available upon pick-up, the service pro was able to give me a few options to assure that my reservation expectations were met. The car I took was great, and as advised, exactly what I needed it for! TY! I would recommend this rental car service to anyone, especially because the cars are such a higher quality than most services that are offered as competitors!

The customer service was as expected, good, Ill rent again soon. The only thing was out of my car class selection there was only 1 vehicle available in that class out of i think 4, just like the options, that works for me when it leisure, and not business rentals, also did the in-store upgrade, 1st I declined, then after a small price adjustment i did it, but wasnt really sure what the rate was after the fact, I ended up spending more than i wanted to, but my family enjoyed it, so ill just have to take tis one on the chin....LOL.

Everything was great until the last day when we called and asked if we could return the car at LAX. The staff said yes, but did NOT mention at all that there’s a $65 fee for dropping it off at a different location. It was $109 on the contract and it ended up being $203. We were only notified through an email that has no details of the charges and had to call back to figure out why the number is much higher .We gave it a one star because they are not upfront about the charges.

Horrible customer service!! Last minute add ons to the initial price for the rental. I had to deposit an extra $500 For the car I was renting. I was supposed to get Mercedes cla or Lincoln sedan but they handed me a freaking Volvo wagon! Absolutely ridiculous. None of the staff gave me a tour of the car, they just handed me the keys and told me where to find the car.

The (agent) gentleman who assisted me did not demonstrate good customer service skills. After processing my transaction, he handed me a paper to sign and left the vehicle key on the top of the counter and told me to go and inspect the vehicle and come back and inform him of any damages. I can take a picture or video of any damages you find. I inspected the vehicle, found some scratches and then went back to report my findings, then I have to wait because his is helping another customer. The agent finally came outside to confirm my findings, only to tell me that those are dirt and factory stickers that did not require documentation as damages.The agents has unpleasant attitude and he acted like was doing me a favor.

At first I was so skeptical based on all the reviews everywhere. I dealt woyh Everest and he was pleasant and helpful. Gave me a good price on an upgrade for a Jaguar XE.We drove up to SF. The tank was empty so all.i had to do was to fill it up and when I returned it in Union Square I was given a $50 refund to my total bill.Highly recommended.

Sham rental scheme - lists cars at a price theyre still offering online today. I reserve one days in advance, but when I get there, all they have is a minivan, which they consider an upgrade from a RAV4, or want to charge me double for any other car they have. Whats the point of a reservation if you wont honor it any better than Hertz or Enterprise?

Extremely horrible service. All three counter representative were very rude and not helpful, as if they don’t want to help me at all. The guy was about to leave from his shift in the middle of helping me. I also did not get the car I was supposed to get, despite I called in the day before to confirm. The representative claims I called the customer service department and wouldn’t know which cars the location had available. This is not my problem, this is the company’s problem with lack of shared information. I ended up leaving and went to another branch at West Hollywood and the service there was wayyyyyyy better. They were helpful and cooperative and wanted to make sure I was satisfied before I left. The people at the other location (Beverly hills) thought I took a car and drove it, they didn’t even give me the keys to the car and they thought I took a car. This just shows how they’re not paying attention at their job or see which cars get checked out or not. Really bad overall.

Office and staff very good. Opposite the office is a Starbucks in case you need to wait a little longer. Backyard where to return the car, seems a bit improvised and has some deep bumps which are quite awkward with a low laying sports car.

As per usual, you order the car online, spend hours choosing what you want and to your budget, then you turn up and off course, they dont have that car! Then they look at your luggage and tell you it wouldnt have worked out anyway... So they get you something more expensive, try and sell you all the insurances etc. Standard rubbish experience you come to expect when renting a car. The car itself was fine, although as per usual the built in satnav is missing the sd card meaning they give you a stick on one for the window. Staff were nice enough even if a bit fake...

Prepaid on the Sixt website direct. Bait and switch. They didnt have the car I booked, played the upgrade your car or get a minivan game with me when they had a sedan to put me in. In the end they had me take the minivan to another location to switch for a sedan (30mins with traffic). Brenda was super nice but management doesn’t seem to care. I should have spent the extra couple dollars a day and go somewhere else.

It was close to Christmas and most rental companies were out of cars, some even overbooked cars, but sixt had rentals available. I called to confirm that they were not overbooked and they said if I reserved a vehicle I would definitely get a vehicle. I had put my information into the system prior to arrival, but their internet and subsequently their system was down so they had to re-write my information on a paper contract. None the less, this was done very quickly. I had reserved a standard vehicle-Jetta or Corolla, but I was upgraded to a Mercedes. Not only that, but the car had about 330 miles on it. It was essentially brand new. It had Bluetooth enabled, so I was able to link up my phone for navigation and music. The seats were leather and there was an added back support feature in the seat, so I was able to adjust it for my hyperlordosis. I drove it about 1000 miles for the holidays to visit NorCal and the car drove wonderfully.Overall, I wonderful experience with Sixt and will definitely rent from this company again. Their employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. Their customer service on the telephone and in person was impeccable. Their cars are great. Their rental system was quick and easy and the drop off was even faster. They look at the car ask if you’ve filled the tank, you hand them the keys and that’s it. You get the final receipt in an email. Thank you Sixt!!! You made the holidays a little less stressful this year.

Didnt have the car that I booked online during pickup. I understand thats normal but they didnt even have anything in the same category. Slow counter service and poor car delivery. Waited for them to prepare/clean the car and when its ready, I started the engine to see the car is empty with no fuel. Had to wait for them refill it. Took more than 45min waiting for them to get their act together. I wont be back.

I recently rented from Sixt in Beverly Hills and had an excellent experience from beginning to end. This was my second time renting from Sixt (a few months ago I rented from Sixt in Santa Monica), and both times I received excellent customer service, vehicles that were much better than the class I paid for, and straightforward, no-funny business billing. I have rented from several other rental companies over the past few months, but I have had the best experience with Sixt and plan to rent from them again in the near future!

Worst car rental place with racist attitudes. After booking my reservation online I was told you only need a utility bill in order to book with a debit card. I arrived and they told me that a second one was needed. I said ok and drove a hour back home to get my second bill and drove back only to be told by the manager danielle .that a third utility bill would be needed my paycheck stubs or other bill wasn’t good enough. Horrible racist service. Don’t go here if your black.! Go to the Santa Monica branch. Sixt is a great company but they need to train their people to have better public relations. Ateast at the Beverly Hills branch. The Santa Monica branch is top notch.

Do not use this company if you’re planning any sort of road trip or out of state drive. This rental company has business terms and policies like one of those back lot dimly lit shady rental car places you find in the ghetto. They say “unlimited mileage” but don’t clearly tell you that you can’t take the car out of California. If you’re local you won’t be able to rent a premium car AND you’ll have to provide deposit AND proof of insurance AND proof of address. Like they’re scared you’re going to steal their car just because you live locally. It’s ridiculous. Hertz, Avis, enterprise, none of those REAL rental car places have stupid terms like that. None of these policies are stated up front either. You have to dig through their site to find them. And once you find all of these policies you better hope you didn’t make a reservation. Because if you did they’re going to charge you equal to 3 days rental as a cancellation charge. Which is just a shady cash grab. This place is a joke. Please save yourself the time, money, hassle and just rent a car from somewhere else!!

I returned the car at night and then the morning after that, I realized that my sunglasses was still in the car. I called to ask them and planned to stop by to pick it up. They said I couldn’t come, I needed to fill a form to get my lost item back, which I did and got no response. A few days later, I called again and they said they couldn’t find it. Why they didn’t let me come and pick up in the first day?Update: I just check my credit card, they charged me 5 times. One in the pick up date, one in the day after, one in the day after the return date, and two in 10 days after return date.

Second time renting at this location. Last year, I got the car I reserved. This time, when I called early this morning before coming in, I was told my selected car (Mercedes CLA250) would not be available until tomorrow. The similar Mercedes 250GLA was also unavailable until tomorrow. I was offered a Mercedes SUV for $20 per day extra (which isnt an offer, but rather the price on their site). I asked if other locations had the 250s, but none did. I asked if I could get a discount on the Lincoln, which I didnt even want, but was told no. In the past, when my reserved car wasnt available, better car rental agencies have given me upgraded models without a surcharge. I wasnt offered this with Sixt. Wont be using again.

Poor customer service, I was going to arrive 4 minutes after closing, I called and they said they would not wait, not even for 4 min.Luckily there was still a customer there so I managed to get in. One of the two attendants was on her cell phone. The other waited a couple minutes before asking if I needed help. I gave him my reservation number. He said sorry we dont have any more convertibles. I can give you a compact. Which is obviously worth much less then the convertible I prepaid for. He said sorry there is nothing we can do. After about 10 min of back and forth I asked if there was another location that had one. So off to LAX I go, in a Yaris that is extremely dirty, the window is so dirty its hard to see out of.I will not be back at this location again..

Where to start, by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Girl didnt have the car I rented available for me and wouldnt explain to me what was going on. Didnt know how much I was being charged, nothing just stared at the computer screen and then handed me a receipt. Ended up with a Toyota Mini van that reeked of cigarette smoke. The smell was so bad it was nauseating. Do yourself a favor and pay the little extra to go with a better car rental company. Do not always go with the cheapest!UPDATE: After writing this review I notice a credit to my bank account thinking Sixt issued me refund, but I was completely wrong. It was a hold (that I was unaware of) when I had rented the vehicle. I contacted customer service and after being on hold for 15 minutes, they did not even have a record of my complaint, when they had emailed me a ticket number on 9/18/15 of the complaint.

Literally the worst customer service Ive ever experienced, not with a car rental company, with any company ever. I made the mistake renting from them twice, assuming the first time was a mishap. But no. While I was there both times I had multiple issues with my reservation (which wasted over an hour & a half of my time BOTH times) and each time I was there I witnessed other frustrated customers experiencing issues also. The manager is rude & talks in a condescending tone like shes talking to a 3yr old. They have zero capability to resolve an issue, and not once offered a solution or some sort of compensation as a way to apologize for the multiple inconveniences. Would not recommend renting from here ever unless you enjoy terrible customer service & your time being wasted.

This place is horrible customer support is even worse, i prepaid for a range rover vouge 2018.They gave me the car really dirty inside out and the employee told me that they are going to block 2,500 usd from the credit card and that i should provide another credit card for back up. I stead they charged me 2,500 on both cards!!!After talking to the branch and customer support for this issue nothing got solved to i returned the car asking for a refund. The branch manager Danielle was away as soon as she was back i gave her a call and she said that the problem will be solved and the prepaid amount will be refunded. That was october 15 2018. 2 weeks have passed now and nothing happened i sent an email regarding this issue and i didnt get a reply…! This place is a ripoff!!

Very bad experience with this agency.We wanted to rent a Cadillac XT5 especially because it has an integrated GPS. When we got in the car (that was dirty btw) and we tried to use the navigation it did not work. I went to see the girl at the desk to tell her, so she came to see. When she saw it wasn’t working she said she could rent us a GPS for $12 a day (we rented it for 15 days so it was a big difference). So i told her this was not normal, we rented the car because it has a gps and that the car wasn’t working properly then. All she answered was that she didn’t guarantee the GPS and that the car was running and driving SO it was working properly. She just took me for a dumb ass. Literally. So I said this was ridiculous as I could just go to another location, rent the exact same vehicle and have a GPS working at no extra cost. She just said “Yes. Would you like a refund?” Not commercial at all, really bad. If you don’t know how to deal with clients, just don’t do that kind of job.Oh and they didn’t inspect the car properly as the 4 wheels were dented like we barely see the original color. An other thing they would have tried to take our money from.Don’t go there.

Our company rents from sixt on a weekly basis all across the globe. This is by far the worst sixt we have ever dealt with. This review is based solely for the Beverly Hills location. We had a booking set for 2:30 pm its 4:30 and we still dont have a vehicle. The staff refuse to upgrade us even though it is 100% their fault they dont have a vehicle available. The staff have antagonized us with sarcasm and rude remarks. Do yourself a favor and rent from any of the other locations in Los Angeles if you are going to use sixt. Unfortunately all though we have had great experiences with sixt in the past this experience has left a bitter taste and we will start considering alternatives. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location specifically.

STAY FAR AWAY.Wow this place is atrocious. Completely and utterly atrocious. Here is my experience:I found out in the late afternoon (around 5pm) that I needed a car to use early the next morning. I usually use Enterprise but they close at 6pm and I was on the Westside so I would have had to book it if I wanted to pick it up. I came across Sixt and saw that it was open until 7pm so I decided I would check them out after reading some of the good reviews. I tried to book online but I only was able to select the option of the following day so I figured I would call on my way.As I am heading to Beverly Hills in my Uber, I called and selected the option to make a reservation and speak with the specific location and be transferred to the 24/7 reservation desk. [It didnt quite make sense, but I let it slide.] After being put on hold for over 20 minutes, I decided to hang up and call back to see if there were another option to speak with the actual location. I selected that option and the call went to voicemail. I tried the reservation line again and was again placed on hold. About 15 minutes until 7, I gave it one last effort to call the actual location and I actually got through. At this point I was directly in front of my apartment but told my Uber to wait to possibly take me to the rental place. I told the person on the phone about my efforts and I informed the person on the phone that I would be there in about 10 minutes (at 7) and would be no later than 5 minutes past 7pm. They made the reservation and said I was good to go so I went.I arrived at 7:00pm right on the dot. Exactly the time of my reservation. The door was already locked and I was turned away. I begged. Nicely, I said through the door of the store that I had just spoken to someone on the phone and they said my reservation was good to go. The worker refused to look at me and motioned for me to go away.I went to the back as I saw individuals were being assisted by someone who worked at Sixt. She refused to help me, DESPITE THE FACT THAT ANOTHER REPRESENTATIVE OF THE COMPANY SHE WORKS FOR ASSURED ME I WAS GOOD TO GO WITH MY 7:00PM RESERVATION and practically laughed that I was too late.Not only did I waste my valuable time on this, I wasted paying for Ubers to and from this atrocious place. Further, had I known how utterly horrible this place was, I would have made sure to leave the Westside in time to go to Enterprise by 6pm to rent a car from them.

Whilst they did give us a free upgrade to the exact car we wanted the staff seem to be fire fighting problems all the time. Getting through on the phone can take an hour or more.

Very unfriendly customer service. I do not know the name of the woman I just talked to (because she did not say her name) but you should train her skills concerning dealing with customers. That lady was uncooperative, could not answer my questions and sounded very annoyed. At the end of our conversation she did not even say goodbye. Thats not professional.

Sixt Beverly Hills under the management of Danielle Yount is unprofessional, lacks leadership, is a poor reflection of the company’s values and offers horrid customer service. Given dirty car, bad brakes, expired tags and rude reps who blamed us for the bad brakes!! We were promised a refund and then when following up because they wouldnt they renigged on the refund! We had an expert inspect the vehicle because we were concerned about safety and the expert even documented that the brakes were due to negligent maintenance! Do not ever rent from here if you dont want to be mistreated, disrespected, lied to, placed in unsafe conditions and blamed for their errors!
