I’ve been working with Ara for years and her work never disappoints! The salon is clean and well spaced out so that you will not feel overwhelmed while you’re here. I recommend Ara to all my friends, especially if they want designs because she’s the best. Definitely check this place out for all your manicure needs! 💕

This is a very nice, cozy and clean nail salon. 🙂 My nail tech, Theara Ban has moved to this location and its just a lovely place. 😍 The staff are very accommodating I really enjoyed the conversations with them. The atmosphere was very relaxed and I loved that! 😌 And of course Theara Ban, my nail tech did awesome work on my hands & feet. 😁😊😎

I brought my mom and my daughter to the salon today and we are super happy with the results. Theara Bean is super talented and everyone in the salon was nice and welcoming to my family. We will be back :)

My friend and I got pedicures at this salon during my first stay in Bethesda. It may have been the most fun I have ever had at a pedicure. Kim did mine and Linda did my friend. We were laughing and joking. The atmosphere was memorable.

I read great reviews for this place for leg waxing so I tried it out. The salon is cozy but very clean. The ladies there were so nice and friendly, and did a great job! Plus you can’t beat their price. Would definitely recommend for waxing!

This place was beyond disappointing. Please save your money and go somewhere else or do your nails at home. The technician (I believe her name was Kelly) did such a sloppy job with my SNS manicure and filed down my nails to the point that it was painful. She first started filing them as square shape even though I clearly requested round and when she proceeded to correct the shape (after she was done blaming me for not being clear enough in the beginning), she proceeded to file my nails down to my skin (not a pleasant experience).She also decided to charge extra for cuticle cutting (which was not listed on the website, and although I had requested this, she didn’t even bother telling me it would cost extra). She didn’t even clean them properly despite this extra charge. Terrible service-will never come here again.

Im new to the area and have to say the ladies here are amazing! Best gel manicure and pedicure Ive gotten in a LONG time! :) and prices are fabulous especially for being in this area!

9/05/18 update: My sister said she really enjoyed her pedicure. I didnt really like the fact that they couldnt get her gift card there in time for her birthday, but at least she enjoyed it.Previous review: Ordered a $50 gift certificate over the phone for my sister 3 days before her birthday (plenty of time for them to mail it to her by her birthday), and they got my card info over the phone but then never sent my sister the gift certificate. The lady was writing down my card information over the phone and I told her that was not acceptable. I told her to place my order and shred the info immediately. My card was charged, yet my sister has no gift certificate. Very disappointed.

Great place for waxing! Affordable, quick, and let me drop-in when all other places were fully booked

I started going here years ago after winning a gift certificate at a school fundraising auction and have been going back ever since. The staff is friendly and efficient. Unlike other some other salons, they do not charge extra for removing gel manicures, so you will never be surprised by added charges. I have never had a problem with them removing my old gel manicures and always leave with a professional-quality job that lasts me two weeks. They have wonderful massage chairs for the pedicure process that leave you relaxed and comfortable. And they are very good about scheduling appointments, even at the last minute. Its one of places my daughter and I consider our favorites for a ladies day out.

My wife recently went to this place of business. She did not have a good experience. The woman working there did not know how to remove the gel nail polish my wife had on. My wife had to remove the majority of the polish herself, by picking/scraping it off. This process took up about 45 min of her appointment time. The woman then tried to put a new polish on but screwed it up because she was trying to rush. So she had to remove everything again and by the time all of that was done, my wifes appointment was over. Nothing got done in an hour appointment! My wife still had pink polish spots on her nails, where they didnt remove everything, when I picked her up. Even though they did not charge my wife for anything, you need to know what youre doing. You own a nail salon, you should know how to properly remove the products that you use.

The ladies were super sweet and took great care of me. Just what I needed after a long week. I felt like I was back home in Texas.

They welcome you right away. They are really amazing. Very proffesional, they talk to you and make you feel very confortable. Im very happy with the service. Also I didnt have an appointment and they took me right away. No hurry no rush.

The staff is so professional and understanding. My first brazillian was painful but they actual made me comfortable! And its hard to be comfortable in that position!

I used to go to another waxing place close by, but they werent doing a great job and it was very expensive, not to mention even when booking an appointment a week in advance they rarely had more than a few times available. Bethesda Salon was very friendly and professional when I called and had plenty of time slots available even for an appointment made just two days in advance. The salon and waxing room are both clean and organized, and the ladies that work there are so sweet! I went in for a Brazilian and it only took 10 minutes! My waxer was super nice and did an awesome job, and she actually gave me some great maintenance tips and seemed to know a lot more about skincare and waxing than the people at my last place (which exclusively did waxing). It cost me half the price Id been paying before, it took half the time, and the results were more than worth it. Will definitely be returning soon!

My sister got a mani/pedi for I think 38, she got shellac no chip for her mani portion. Ladies were friendly and engaging without prying. Enjoyed my visit, I have no price comparisons to compare to so... Overall a pleasant experience for my sister and I. Parking for Bethesda salon is free and can be found in the back (entrance is right next to Dominos pizza)

I came in at 3:00 p.m., and the person didnt even apologize that they wouldnt be able to see me. She just said they were short staffed, and to please leave. Very, very calloused, extremely disappointing. They need to work on their attitude.

I was looking for a salon that does SNS ( Signature Nail Systems) I found this salon on yelp and called right when open on Saturday, they highly recommend that you make an appt, they get busy and the salon is small. They fit me right in on Saturday morning at 10:30, I made an appt with Kim, I told her what I wanted, she asked questions on how I found them, if I ever got the service done before, I appreciated the questions to gather a bit of history. NOTE: parking can be a problem, its basically downtown Bethesda, so bring coins to pay for parking or park in a garage. There is a lot across the street called Bruce Variety which I was told next time I can park for free on weekends there. There are also 2 spaces behind the shop for customers.They greeted me nicely and the place looked clean, Kim was nice, got more info and listened to what I wanted concerning my nails, I told her I wanted them to grow. She explained the process and went to work. She did minimal filing on my nail bed and wanted to do her best to keep what little length of my nail I had left. I appreciated that she did minimal filing on my nails, she made it clear she wanted to do little damage to my nails.She also freely answered my questions about the system. I ended up getting nail tips because I wanted length, I will say I felt no pressure to get certain services and they seemed to know the customers fairly well in the shop. The end result is good, I noticed that she didnt file my nails all uniform when it came to the oval shape, so I fixed it with a file when I got home. My nails look really natural and really no pain. Always check your nails before leaving any salon. Kim also gave me $5 off the $45 price tag because it was my first time.Overall it was a pleasant experience, I enjoyed that they were friendly, no pressure, listened to what I wanted and clear in communication.I would recommend this place. Seem they have many regulars.

In passing, on vacation I followed the Google recommendations to go to the bethesda salon.I really dont regret it we went with my daughter, for 2 pedicures, a replacement of my gel and a classic manicure ....We were warmly welcomed, taken without an appointment and really pampered.The three sisters who work there are really adorable ...The massage seat for the pedicure was very popular.Excellent advice on colors, the production is very professional and I am more than satisfied with the result .... I therefore highly recommend
