Writing this review has taken me a while because I dont take lightly to writing reviews. I must trust the person or company and they must meet my expectations. Jose and staff met them all and above, I have never been taken care of by a contractor like this, he addressed everything from the initial estimate and design to the execution of the project. Exceptional company to work with and I highly recommend them.

I found mar and vall online searching for companies to remodel our master bath. Jose came out and met with me and my wife, walked through project ideas and pros vs cons. Jose is a very honest man, professional and very knowledgeable. After getting a few quotes, we decided to go with Jose. The project went to perfection compared to other contractors we have used and the quality is amazing. Hire this company you won’t regret it!

Rolando came out and did an in-home design consultation with me to remodel our old master bath. It was built in the 70s and was in major need of an overhaul. I love that Rolando explained everything in a very educational manner that helped us to understand certain obstacles and styles. He walked us through every step and every option to help us design our bathroom the way we like. Having someone as knowledgeable and experienced as Rolando really gave us a peace of mind. If you are looking to have a nice bathroom or kitchen built I would definitely call Rolando and his team at Mar & Vall.

We just finished a partial bath remodel with Mar & Vall. We replaced our tub/shower combination with a walk-in shower. Im so happy and impressed by Mar & Vall! The whole process was so easy and they made sure we were happy during the progress and completion of the project. They listened to what we wanted from day one and if there was something that did not make sense, they would come up with helpful ideas without being pushy. The team that does the work were very thoughtful, considerate and beyond careful in the work and our home. Definitely recommend Mar & Vall!!!

What a wonderful company to work with! I am happy with the service and quality of workmanship. We had our kitchen cabinet and countertops replaced, new flooring and backsplash. Not a huge project I know but we are super delighted with Jose and his team. I highly recommend this company!!!

This was my first time hiring Mar & Vall. They answered my message swiftly and made scheduling simple. They also showed up on time and were very professional and creative. One of the biggest reasons I was so impressed with mar and val, was because out of everyone that came to my house to quote me for the remodel of my entire house, Jose was the most knowledgeable. He brought up very good points that I did not think of while preparing the layout and arrangements as I had initially thought would work. No one else that came out said or knew of anything that Jose presented to me. When the other designers followed up with me after quoting the project, I told them Jose’s finding and if they accounted for them. They told me no, and that they would have to schedule another appointment with me so that they can send their project managers, plumbers, electricians etc… to come out and evaluate everything again because they did not know (2 or more appointments). Due to my work schedule that was not easy for me at all and was pressed on time to get this remodel done. It was great that mar and val has designers with construction backgrounds that tell you almost everything upfront (pros vs cons and obstacles). Needless to say we procured mar and val’s services for the project. During the entire progress of the project, Jose kept me well informed through email on the progress which helped give me a peace of mind when I was out of town on business, which happened a few times during the project. When all was said and done, I was completely impressed by Jose and his team. If your work schedule is tight and you cannot babysit, hire this company! They proved to be true professional, taking care of my home and project as if I were present everyday giving me that peace of mind I truly needed.

This is one of the most professional companies I’ve had the pleasure of using. After several contractor blunders, Joell and Jose were able to not only handle the job but fix what others had pitched as ‘finished.’ They gave great insight moving forward and competently walked us through pros and cons of the choices we were making. If we asked for something that was going to cause problems down the road, they gave us a candid and honest suggestion on how to curtail our idea and then offered solutions! Most contractors suck at communication but these guys really keep you in the loop. I have no reservations about leaving my keys with them or where my money is going.We’ll be using them again!

Jose and his team at Mar & Val just finished the remodel on one of our bathrooms and we couldnt be happier! Our bathroom has a very odd layout that made designing it a bit difficult, many other designers that came out to see the bathroom wouldn’t give much input on what can be done inside the current space, they always kept suggesting taking away from the room and closet but that was not what we were looking for. Jose came in higher than other quotes we got, but with their great references, knowledge and design I could not refuse to give them a try. I am happy I did because their quality of work is top notch, as is their customer service. Jose was very flexible about scheduling, finished on time, and was so kind, courteous, and easy to work with. We will definitely use them for any remodel projects in the future!

This is the second time I have worked with Mar & Vall. We had a lot of work to do in one of our bathroom’s (retiling, new counter and sink, new shower tiles....the whole works!) and these guys got it all finished up on time and budget. Joel was our designer and managed the project superb! I never had to question what was going on because he kept us informed during the entire process. I was extremely impressed with the workers, they are friendly and kept us in the loop the entire time as well. After searching for the right contractor to remodel our kitchen, I came upon Mar & Vall and it turned out to be a homeowners dream come true. They are not only highly skilled, creative, and professional but kind, respectful, conscientious, reliable, and also a lot of fun to work with! There is nothing they could not do! Their passion for their craft turned our kitchen into something I could not dream of. We continued on remodeling our entire first floor adding the flooring, windows, trim work, painting and even upgrading our fireplace to gas. All of these were planned future projects that we decided to just go ahead and do now because we were so impressed by the entire team. I was so sad when we said our goodbyes, since we had built such a great relationship with Jose and his team. Any future work I need would only be done by them! I would highly recommend them to anyone searching for honest, reliable contractors.

Great company to work with, I was looking for a general contractor to work with to renovate my home before putting it on the market, I have to say that the experience with Mar and Vall was gratifying, I had worked with multiple contractors before and because of my job, it is difficult to be around at all times, I’m generally flying out of the country and it’s much more difficult to have communication, that was my main concern for this project because it was a big one and required a lot of attention, I made sure I expressed that to them, well we got things going with Jose, who was the guy that helped me through the process of design and material selection, everything went smooth, he not only let me choose what I liked, but if it didn’t make sense design wise he would let me know and explain why it wouldn’t work, he gave me a sense of assurance on things when I was running around like a lost chicken, it was an easy process to get everything selected and finalized. I have to say that what I liked the most was that Once the project started, they were very responsive to my emails, and any time something came up, Jose was able to determine if it was right for him to make a decision on it for himself or contact me for it, overall the experience with this company was fantastic, and I would recommend anyone to work with them!

True professional with no sales tactics, they tell you the way it is and help you make the best decisions on your investment. After getting several quotes to remodel our kitchen, Mar & Vall was the most impressive. Joel was very well mannered, professional and not pushy, you can tell that he truly wants to help you and not just make the sale. Others that came to view the bathrooms were very pushy and did not listen to a word I said during the consultation. Joel listened to everything I was concerned about and the ideas I had for the style and design of the kitchen. I know at times I didn’t make any sense because even I would get confused, but amazingly enough Joel knew where I was going with it all! After everything was said and done, we hired Mar & Vall and do not regret it one bit. Joel and his team proved there are still professionals out there that care about the investment a homeowner is putting into a remodel. I highly recommend this company and will be calling them back for future projects!
