Its a little more expensive then the previous salon I was going to but I loved my nails! It is clean and the lady that was my technician was nice and did the exact fox design I wanted and kept checking in with me to see if I liked the color and design.

VERY VERY RUDE..So here’s my experience..They say they accept walk ins but clearly they don’t. We came in with my mother for her birthday they told us they only had one available. I walked outside to ask my mom if she wanted to take that appointment. When I walked back in the lady rudely said she no longer had the appointment. I wouldn’t even give this place one star for they way they treated us but had to for the review. Please take my advice and take your Business else where they appreciate the business. We called another nail salon down the street and they gladly accepted our business.

Well run, very clean, no drama and, all the work I have seen is beautiful. Mai does my nails and they are always perfect. I get compliments all the time.

I have been going to Annies nails for many years. Annie is an amazing technician - my nails always, without fail, look perfect. They have redecorated the salon and it is very lovely. I would never go anywhere else.

I have gone here on and off for years. The reason is because it is convenient but NEVER AGAIN. I have never met a person “Annie” so full of herself. She is rude beyond measure. The last time I was there she made me feel horrible. I was trying to strike up a conversation several times with her and she basically told me to stop. So rude, she only cares about herself. She talks about all her customers and it’s not very nice. How they are still in business is a miracle. The work they do is decent but part of going into a salon is the experience. Horrible customer service!!!!

Just moved to Rio Rancho and wanted to take advantage of having some business close to my place. Well after a long week of reading reviews and all, I decided to try this place. Next week is my birthday and I wanted to have a nice manicure and pedicure for my celebrations! Being 10mts from my house this place was very convenient, though some of the reviews were a little discouraging I still decided to have the experience myself.First I had made an appointment at noon and due to my schedule and unexpected day events I had to call and change it, they were very professional on helping me change it to a later time on the same day. Once I arrived 10mts before my appointment, I waited for the person who was finishing up someone before me. Well I ended up waiting 30mts past my appointment witch was very upsetting because I had somewhere to be by 7. At that point I was already in the chair so there was no way out, the chair massage Es great and the soaking was much needed. You would think that for waiting 30 minutes they would discount something or throw something for the wait, but that didn’t happen. I do understand tho that the lady before me was being rude and special about her pedicure so of-course that can’t be controlled by the manicurist. Anyway after that lady was finally gone, it was my turn, the massage and feet service was really good and much needed. I was explained the prices before the Services were provided so I understood what I would be charged. I thought that was good because sometimes other places really just throw things at you without making you aware. At the end I was satisfied with my service, though I thought it was pricy I still paid and thanked my manicurist because this is not an easy job, I will be returning here hopefully with my daughter later, another things that made the difference is that I was treated with the same patience and kindness I offered when I knew that I’d be waiting there for a while, at the end of the day, this is a tough job and costumer service is hard, I believe this place is great when given the change and right perspective. I’m a teacher and I completely understand how people can be, so I will be making this my nail spa from now on, plus I saw this young girl get her nails done beautifully so I am content. I also loved how clean and well maintained this place was, and Nancy was the sweetest. I would recommend. The only reason for the rating is because I did have to wait 30 minutes after my appointment but otherwise I would rate it higher.

Had a gel mani pedi even went for the speciality pedi.. So I was already upgrading from a regular pedi.. I was quoted $78 which was cool w me but the tech took it upon herself to do flowers on 1 nail of each hand without even asking and of course charged and pretended she didnt know.. I paid it because Im not a shady person but Annies nails has shady pricing and practices.. Also they have kids working in there answering phones scheduling appts and collecting money.. Will be contacting DOL and BBB..

Well they say you can do walk-ins but that is not true every time you walk in they say they dont have time for you I personally experienced that 5 days ago so then I made an appt. and I got stuck in traffic 30 minutes so I called so sad cannot come in! so I made another apptgot there early and was able to see someone,the nail tech was an older woman probably oldest one there offered me bottled water and did a good pedi n mani.

Have been sending my wife here for years. She loves this place. Good people, prices and very clean. Covid friendly haha.

I would give it a 0 if I could. They lied about the prices then when I questioned they said we worked on your nails for two hours. I went in for a rebase and a basic pedicure there $25 one. When they rang me up it was $150.00. I asked again for them to explain and all they could say was it took me two hours. Not sure how taking there time to do the job costed me more when they gave me a price.

Super professional & clean. It was so relaxing. I use to go to the one in Walmart but I thought Id try this one and I will start going here. It was very nice & relaxing.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who has class or knows how a professional manicure is done. This is just a joke. I had to redo my nails myself after the visit because the cuticle looked like I haven’t had manicure in years. Wow, what a disappointment. Wasn’t worth it at all, wouldn’t ever come back even if it was free.

This is the third salon Ive been to in this area hoping I would find the place. Staff was friendly enough and knew from conversation that it was my first visit. My polish did not even last two days. I was going in a trip and did not have the time to come in and get fixed. First picture two days after manicure. Second picture 6 days after. My nails look horrible!!!😠Follow up with manager: I went in after calling him and said oh you got regular manicure, no guarantee to last. I said, not even a week. He said, no!

Poor customer service I called and they told me they had time but once I got there they were rude and asked to see my call log. Then said they could fit me in after 20 minutes and when I came back they were once again rude and said they did not have time.

Always love going to Annie. Also all the safety protocols they put in make me feel confident that Im keeping myself and others safe!

Update: Had really bad experience the last time I visited with Annies husband. He was so rude and unprofessional that there is no way I would be back. Annie does an amazing job and because of that it is hard to get an app with her. I understand its a family owned business but the remainder of the staff are not as qualified and dont do the same quality work.Looking for a new nail salonand came across Annies nails, since it is fairly close to home, I decided to give it a shot and Im so glad I did! Excellent service at a good price. Annie did an amazing job on my nails! Will definitely be coming back.

Mia (I believe) was very rude to my mom and sister yesterday. She told my sister she couldnt do her nails because she is disabled. She has done her nails before and overcharged her. My family has contacted an attorney and spoke to the cosmetology department to file a claim for discrimination.

I have been going to Annie’s Nails for years and would not go anywhere else. I have never had a bad experience there. Everyone is friendly and highly skilled at what they do. Since the COVID-19 they are taking extra precautions, such as making everyone sanitize their hands upon entering the salon, wearing a mask and takin your temperature. If you have not visited this salon, you don’t know what you are missing. If you give them a try you will never go anywhere else. Love Annie. She is fantastic!!!

It was my first time in this salon been to many and it was clean they were following COVID-19 procedures had barriers up and wore face mask, and also took your temperature and made you sign a paper asking you about your health which was an great idea! I was pleased with my pedicure and full set was nice as well. I just wish the person would have trimmed my cuticles cuz they’re ugly. Besides that had a great experience can’t wait to return.

Ive been a long time customer and have always been happy with their services. Today I was in to get a fill. I waited 30min which was expected because I didnt have an appointment. A customer who was on her way out began yelling at, Mi who is the sweetest person all because she was upset another customer had an appointment. The owner walked to the register to try and explain what had happened. This lady wouldnt hear him out and said she was going to leave a bad review & that he didnt care about his business. Mi was left in tears. If you arent happy thats fine, dont return but being that hateful to someone was out of line. Take your business elsewhere and let the rest of us enjoy their services. No one forced you to stick around and wait! Youre awesome, Mi💝.

I used to like this place, everyone was always friendly. The last few times I’ve been there I feel like they’re annoyed at anyone that comes in. They are rude and not welcoming at all.Annie used to be friendly, now she has a mad face and doesn’t make conversation. I think they should be thankful to have so many customers. They do a great job but honestly, I’m done. Every time I’m there I feel like they just want me (or anyone who comes in) to leave.What a shame because they are good people who do a good job.

Terrible service and unpleasant atmosphere....Manicurist Andy, who did my manicure, did not want to cut cuticles when I asked (I really thought this is what manicure is all about) and then hold the cuticle cutter in-properly. Then I was told not to come back during lunch time because he is too busy. On top of that he had an attitude.Ambience- TACKY. Uncomfortable/ ugly/ dirty chair cushions at the dry station and flies all over.They DO NOT disinfect their tools or work stations.They DO NOT speak English!Horrible... I do not recommend this place to anyone....

First time here and it was a great experience. My mother-in-law and I always try to get a pedicure when she comes to visit and since we just moved neighborhoods we needed to find a new salon. I’m so happy we did Annie’s. This place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the pedicure was spectacular. We have found our new spot!

I went to get a mani/ pedi and I chose to do a scented leg treatment, which cost extra. The green tea packet, stained my legs, my toes were sore from the nail file, and the gel dryer burned my hand. On top off that, the nail polish started peeling off my fingers, 4 days after I had done. Then because of the extra pre cautions,what cost me 70 now was 90 not including tip. I wont be going there anymore.

Annie, Andy and all the staff are super friendly! They always make you feel welcomed and comfortable. They get busy but do everything possible to accommodate everyone. They do an excellent job! We are returning customers for over 8 years!

I have tried to go here several time, giving each tech a chance. I have to say I leave always disappointed. I always get a fill and gel manicure on Almond shape. They don’t push in my cuticles. My nails always seem inconsistent in texture, shape, and size. This last time I went, I asked them to trim them down a bit. He left them rectangular shaped didn’t have me wash my hands after he shaped them. They are different lengths, chipping after a week, and bulky. I hate them as usual. Needless to say, I don’t recommend this place at all and won’t be returning.

Annie and Andy are the best ones there but they all do well. I really enjoy the older man because he is super delicate with your hand when he removed gel it polish. Never once has he hurt it twisted my fingers painfully. I love the service.

I have been coming here for a couple years now. Everyone in the salon is genuinely a pleasure to be around. They are very honest and upfront with all questions and concerns. Annie, Andy and the family are all hard diligent workers. I’ve never had an issue with nails coming off or breaking, cracking or hurting. The spa pedicures are AMAZING!! I would highly recommend this place. It may be easier to make an appointment over the phone to guarantee a slot. They are always very busy but they make sure they are prompt about times. Definitely the best place I’ve found between Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and Bernalillo!

Been there 3 times for gel manicures. The first two times my nails looked nice and I left happy. The ladies who did my nails were very quiet, but conscientious. The third trip, I got Annie. She seemed annoyed when I asked her opinion on colors, and put on just a couple coats of polish. The colors didn’t look good and my nails cracked in 10 days. I still tipped 20% although I am sure by the way she acted that she didn’t want or need my business. I won’t be going back.

I decided to try this place so I had acrylics done. I’m not satisfied with the outcome. the nails are sitting at an upward angle which is something I’ve never seen before and as far as I know is not supposed to be angled upwards. I can still see big portions of my natural nail along the sides of just about every nail.the polish on my nails doesn’t even cover the entire nail not to mention it’s patchy. They had good customer service but I don’t think I would visit again.

Went to go get my eyebrows done but didnt come out so happy.As normal I went to go get my eyebrows done and when I looked at the final outcome of my eyebrows in the mirror and noticed that a chuck my right eyebrow was taken off and also a little bit smaller. Anyway I tried letting the lady know that I didnt like it but she said she didnt do anything! I was like girl you did because my eyebrows werent like this when I walked in. All of a sudden the man of the nail place started recording me and I kindly asked him not too but he continued to do so. At that point I was very upset with the situation because they didnt try to make matters better. And was like whatever Ill just pay. As I was going to pay I tried to let him know that I didnt like the service that was provided. He ended up blowing it out of proportion telling me he was going to put my picture in the door of the store because I DIDNT pay?! I told him that I wasnt looking for anything free but I just wanted to voice my concern. They ended telling me to leave the store but I still left $6.Just want to give a clearing warning to everyone who goes into that shop especially because I, myself, have referred people to there. But they will no longer be receiving my business.

I went in to get a wax was told wait was 45 mins and if I came back in 45 mins I could get in which is basically an appointment but ended up having to wait an additional 30 minutes which was better than waiting an other hr they did apologize for the wait very polite

This place has great services and when I need a manicure or pedicure it Always satisfied me and I really like the Ultimate spa pedicure because its really helpful when you have callus or dry feet. The pricing is great and better than any other nail salon in my opinion and I love the colors that are called cats eye or wave gel because they have a line that looks really amazing all together this place is recommend

If you are looking for a place to relax enjoy a pedicure.... you definitely wont get that here, owner has her kids playing running around.... this place can get busy being that its the only nail place in the area, the owner is not friendly, never smiles and just stares at you from top to bottom, making you feel akward...... this place would have have had more stars if there customers mattered!!!!!

My first visit. Chose because they were closest to me and other salons were already proven disappointments. I was greeted but not in a friendly manner. I had appointment. Place was very slow. My nails were quickly, not meticulously done. They were not evened to the shortest one. There was no Thank you--just go sit until they dry. I guess they dont read these posts. I want to open a business, not speak English and treat people as I please, expect a tip and slam the door in your face. Good Luck Annies

To start the lady that I was told to sit with looked like she hated her job. When asked what shape I wanted I didn’t know the exact name explained it to her & she started snapping and raising her voice at me. It got better.. when she started shaping my nails I told her, it was crooked she then “tried” filing it down, showed her where it was still messed up & She then started slamming her drawers, talking rudly and then went and placed me with another person. He did a good job & was way nicer but the experience in itself was ridiculous. Completely rude and unprofessional!. I Will not be returning!! & probably wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone else

Went in at 623 pm on a Wednesday just to get an eyebrow wax. They said they close at 630 and those were their winter hours and even though it still wasnt 630 they refused to take me. Will NEVER try to go here again they are incredibly rude and do not deserve your money

Will never go back!! My nails look terrible, They are not smooth at all. Some are thick some are thin. She kept burning my nails while filing. Charge to much for what you get. Had to go somewhere else to get them fixed!

My friend and I went over there on Thursday (5/9/2019) after school to get a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure went fine I will say they do need more staff in there but, otherwise that part was fine. I was the first one done I sat there waiting for my friend to be done which I didn’t really care bout. After she was done a guy (I’m assuming to be Andy the store owner) came over and took me first and my friend sat there with me until there was another opening. The guy seemed like he was in a rush and ended up cutting me and making me bleed and turned my squares into fans, making them really thick, not even and overall not doing a good job. Also, the prices aren’t listed in the store so I suggest going onto their Facebook if you wanna go there which I do NOT recommend. I didn’t really notice much besides the cuts and the burns from the bottom of my finger. All of my friends noticed how bad they looked. We then later ended up at Demi’s nails(5/11/19) Which I highly recommend! Demi herself ended up fixing them and making them look beautiful

Annie’s is a hidden gem. Tucked into the little plaza behind Dion’s makes it a little hard to spot but it is worth searching for. New chairs and tubs (tub liners Give you an even greater sanitary touch), and all of their tools are opened from sealed bags for each customer. A true mom and pop shop owned and operated by Annie and her husband, you will always see her niece, and parents working - making the atmosphere very relaxing and comfortable. The care and courtesy is very consistent with a HUGE variety of nails colors, gel, and services, makes the prices extraordinary for the quality. I always bring in my Pinterest pictures of what I would like they are always eager to tackle the lastest crazy idea I have. Downside is that appointments fill up fast so getting the technician you want is not always easy.If you need a quick walk-in or an appointment, Annie’s is great!

They where unprofessional and the man stated no one their could do a nail design then the lady came and said I’ll do you flower I showed her a picture and she did the design! Then I go to pay and there is a $15 up charge! N the design was far from what I wanted! I couldn’t wait to leave! I will never go back!

The guy who did my nails asked if I wanted gel. I said no because I didn’t want to pay extra. He then proceeded to add gel and charge me after I said no two times. For my pedicure I asked him to cut my nails shorter and straight. He barely trimmed my toes. I asked again and he barely trimmed them again! The cut of my toe nails were uneven and long. And there’s nail polish on my skin that he didn’t take off. For my acrylics he didn’t focus on my cuticles. He left a gap between my nail bed as well. Plus the prices are ridiculous. I will not be coming back and spending money on something I don’t like.
