It was my first time in this salon and there was a good atmosphere and the staff were cordial and friendly. I went in for a fill and a pedicure. They had a new employee who said he had been doing nails in FL for several years that did my fill. The quality of work did not reflect years of experience. After applying the acrylic, my nails were not properly filed down to blend in the fill, so the surface of most of my nails is lumpy and wavy. I didnt notice the quality until after I left and looked at it in the sunlight. I probably wont go back.

The people were very kind and gentle! The guy who did my nails was so sweet but the quality was not there. These are just not professional. The fake nails applied for length did not fit correctly, the acrylic was not applied close enough to the sides. The gems were not applied where they would stay well and I even paid more for gel polish because I was told it would hold the gems better. Thry fell off within 2 hours. I wanted to love this place because of the hospitality but not with the quality of nails I received.

My daughter and I are always so happy when we can get our nails done together. Lots of color choices and friendly people! They do a great job and walk-ins are welcome. They do waxing too! They totally fixed my eyebrows!

Everyone there was nice except the lady who did my nails. She was a little older and super rude. My nails are not the same shape and theyre lumpy. When I told her she just looked at me and kept going. She was super pushy with my hands too. Then at the end when I was paying, she held the receipt while I was signing and kept pointing at the place where I write the tip???

I only come here to get my nails done and i never leave disappointed! even when they are busy they don’t rush to just get your nails done. they always take their time and ask you if you like them and if there is anything wrong they fix it no questions asked!

Rather then telling me they cant take me they had me sitting there and there were 2 appointments that walked in after me and they said we do appointments first like okay fine but then 2 more for same time first one had came in like when you have that many appointments on top of a full salon you need to say sorry we cant take you and try to set appointment for me tomorrow or something not have me stand/sit there and wait like I have DDD in my back and I have the pleasure of getting my nail pretty once a year usually like please dont ruin my experience.

I wish I could say it was a great experience. But I paid extra for a small line added on my pointer finger. And neither hand matched. A week after getting acrylics I have 4 out of 10 nails left... my acrylics have always lasted a month or so. Never this soon.

I went there to get my nails done for my birthday and the woman was so tough and made me bleed. three days after i got them done they have black air bubbles in every single nail. they told me $30 over the phone for what i wanted them in person they said $50.

I went here to get a pedicure. The lady that did my nails never spoke a word to me. She was very rough and I felt like pulling away multiple times. She dug very hard and exfoliated one part of my foot (on the side of my big toe) so much and roughly that the skin broke open and was very painful. I had to apply Neosporin and a bandaid after I left. The hot towel was too hot and she never asked if I was comfortable. The massage part was anything but. She used the lightest pressure possible like she didnt want to touch me. Overall a painful and unwelcoming experience for me.

After giving this place a second chance after my bad experience the first time I found someone who works here that does my nails PERFECTLY every time. Kasey is great at her job and I rarely let anyone else touch me. Wonderful personality and takes her time!

Best nail place in Berea. Ttied LA Nails and they was horrible these guys were able to fix them for me cheap.

My sister and I brought our mother to Hi Tek while we were visiting relatives. My mom is 92 and has very thick diseased nails. Kelly took so much time with her and gave us tips on how to give our mother healthier nails. She went above and beyond! We had pleasant conversation and a very thorough pedicure as well! I highly recommend it! A great mother-daughter outing!

I usual go hear and have no problem but the last time i went in the man was so rude. the lady asked me what i needed i said full set and i would like the tips in black she said no problem she got the man i was not aware of her telling him and i told him very nicely i would like black tips. and gave me the worst look like he was mad or agervated that he had to work. and he did not talk he was rough to the point i pulled away 3 different times i told him as short as possible and he left 1/4 long didnt ask what shape i like and they was very thin. i mean i pay my nails to get done but not to be treated rudely i will give it another shot but he also didnt clip my nails ans they was coming away from the fake tips i had them all of a week

I looked at all the reviews for this salon before choosing. All of the salons in Berea and Richmond had mixed reviews, but the negative ones for this salon werent terrible and the place was close. I have been going to the same salon for 3 years because it was closest to my work and they did a great job. Well, I now feel comfortable saying I will no longer be driving out of my way! The price at this salon was amazing. The service was fast and friendly! The lady who did my nails didnt speak much English, but that honestly doesnt bother me. Another tech took up a convo with me and made sure the tech doing my nails understood what I wanted. I got EXACTLY what I wanted! They are absolutely gorgeous, the exact length and thickness I prefer. There are no flaws in the polish. She took her time and made sure it was right. I will most definitely be back. And my husband will be happy I like this place because its less expensive than my usual salon! For those to whom this will matter, there were two children (of customers) in the salon and everyone was friendly with the kiddos. So often I see techs being rude because children make noise. Not here. This was an extremely friendly environment.

Ive lived in 4 states and this is the best nail salon ive been to! They have so many different colored/glitter acrylic powder. Definitely tons of options to chose from and they are nice and clean!!

I got my nails done here for my wedding. I showed the guy a picture of what I wanted, what I got was not even remotely close. He rushed thru, used old fingernail polish, and made my cuticles bleed. The acrylic also bubbled really bad. On top of all that he was not friendly at all and didn’t even speak to me the whole time. I felt very uncomfortable because none of the staff spoke English to anyone there. It was a very unwelcoming experience. If I ever decide to get my nails done again I will definitely go elsewhere.

Never going back...I paid 30 to get a full set and within four days five of the nails had fallen off on their own. I went in to get them fixed on day four, and they charged me $20 extra dollars.

Rude staff, did not speak English to me and then gave me attitude when I didnt understand what they were saying. Nails were done poorly. The tech used dry chunky nail polish and when chunks got stuck on my nail I asked her to get the pieces off so my nail wouldnt be bumpy, she groaned and just tried to paint over it thicker. They quoted me a price of 25$ and then charged me for 33$. Also there is a 0.75$ charge for using any type of card, which isnt a big deal but figured Id mention it. She did not remove the previous nail polish I had completely so you can see it coming through the new polish. I was very disappointed and wouldnt recommend this place at all.

Pedicure was okay. Nails werent filed smooth so it chipped quickly.

The tools were not cleaned(that I noted) and When the lady was doing my manicure, she accidentaly cut my finger.Update: I got a staph infection from the pedicure. Not happy.

I gave them 2 stars because until my visit today Id have given them 5 stars but today my nails look awful. I could have done them myself at home and had them look better. I normally do them myself but wanted to splurge. And I am so disappointed I wish I hadnt spent the money.Theyre supposed to be almond shape and some of them are the others just look like a toddler filed them. The tips are like flipping up which is odd. The paint job is horrible there is visable chunks of something in the polish so its not smooth. Also underneath is caked with filings that she half way drilled out. But the real kicker is a few are already separating from my natural nail and you can see it at the tip.I am so disappointed I have gone to hi tek nails since 2014. Even when I lived in Winchester I still drove to Berea to get my nails done but this is horrible. The girl barely spoke to me and then when she was finished she got up and walked away without a word to me. I should have complained before I left but its just not in my nature and I didnt realize how awful they really were until I got home. I have taken pictures because theyre awful. Im hoping I can fix them myself but Im concerned theyre going to lift completely before its time for a fill.

I went there to save myself from having the excruciating pain of doing them myself. The lady did worse then a 10 year old. Spent $30 for a worse job then what I could have done at home for FREE! Not a happy customer. I live in Lexington and had to work in the Berea area, so I thought Id stop in on my way home. Lesson learned and money wasted. Dont go!
