I was referred to Fishers by my local Benton Harbor insurance agent boyfriend for a dent and paint damage on the drivers side rear wheel area for my Ford SUV. I really appreciated that Fishers was able to give me an estimate appointment as the same day I called and was able to give me a very reasonable and fair quote within minutes of arriving for the estimate. This was very convenient. Doug was pleasant and professional. I was able to schedule my car to be repaired right away. This was a huge stress relief. Most importantly the car repair was done quickly and wonderfully. The repair looks great. Dealing with Fishers was easy and professional. I would recommend using Fishers for all your car repair needs. It feels great to have a nice looking car again and to support a small local business in Benton Harbor.

Worst place ever called and spoke to Doug about when he could get a car in he stated I could drop the car off any time but did not know whe he could get in in was very rude seemed like he did not have time to even ask what was wrong with the car so I could get a date I have used fishers several times befor and never had this experience and I will never spend a dime with fishers agin

When I came to take a look at a Prius Doug Fisher was selling, he told me it was in good condition and that there was nothing to be concerned about with its functionality. He said that being a mechanic, he’d kept up with the car’s maintenance since it was originally purchased. HOWEVER, the day after I bought it, the check engine light came on along with 2 other warning lights. When taken into a Toyota service center, they gave me a list of 6 serious issues that needed immediate attention and would otherwise affect the safety of driving it, not to mention other minor details. As there had been no issues with its functioning during the test drive, I had no idea prior that any of these problems existed. Given the immediacy at which it began having problems after I purchased it, I went back to Doug and explained what had happened, at which point he refused to take responsibility for failure to alert me to any mechanical concerns with the vehicle, compensate for the repairs, or refund me the vehicle.

David came to help me out when my trailer fell off the car as I was pulling it out of the river. He came super fast and was extremely helpful. Was a pleasure chatting with him about the concept of hydrogen on demand while he was fixing the trailer! Super smart guy and was more helpful than I could’ve imagined. Even helped realign the trailer after fixing the initial issue!

I took my 1973 mercedes 450sl in for a front end allighment and Greg did a fantastic job! Also very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to go back! The other place in town tried to screw me into a $1,500 repair that the car did not need and still took me for over $700 (Baroda Tire) they lost my business! Ive taken my tire business elsewhere! They towed my daughters car from Eau Claire to St. Joe, charging her $250. for the tow. Now Doug wont give it to her unless she has cash. Shes a single mother with a sick child that has breathing problems. Her only vehicle. Doug told her well Thats your problem. Great guy, eh? Oh, Shes a Iraqi veteran also.

This is not the place to take your vehicle if you need body repair and if you need a tow this is not the place you want to call I was in a bad accident a week ago and the guy that towed my car never told me about a $25 per day fee while they were getting an estimate together for me for repairs on my car. I called them yesterday after about 3 days of waiting for them to call me with an estimate and the guy that answered the phone said he would call me back he never did when I call them today they mention the $25 fee for the first time and then I gave me the estimate to have my car repaired. So now I owe a fee from last Thursday all the way up till Tuesday and Ill probably Wednesday to because Im working and Im not going to be able to get down there. They just want my vehicle so they can fix it up and make money off it which is very very very wrong this is not a business anybody needs to do business with their rude and they have no Integrity whatsoever. If you need body work go to Kempner if you need a tow call anybody but this place

Very rude got into a accident about week ago and got my car towed. Been trying to get my belongings out my car forever. Called today “Doug” picked up rude asks about my belongings and just said better to come tmrw and hung up. Definitely would not recommend!!!!!!

Had to keep calling these guys to get updates when I was told I would be called. When we were finally called to pick it up, they forgot to hang up the call when discussing our price and one brother asked the other one How much we chargin them? The other brother responded charge them whatever, they dont know we didnt get the parts from the dealershipI understand you gotta make a profit, but not by screwing people. I got all the way to their shop with the call still going and you should have seen his face when I walked in and told him he forgot to hang up the call.

Im the owner of fisher body shop and dont remember an adam stauch in our customer list and we have never worked on his car, why would he wait to review 14 yrs later to write such an awful review obviously someone that is our competition trying to destroy our good name.

I have been doing business w/ doug at fishers for over 20 years and he is a friendly person every time ive came in, and he does a very good job on my vehicles.

In 2003 this auto shop was supposed to change the front ball joints in my car. Instead of changing the ball joints they slipped them and squirted grease in. They charged me hundreds of dollars in had the car well over a week. A few months later the ball joint broke when I was driving and caused an accident. It is one thing to cheat people out of money and then another thing when youre causing damage and injuries to peoples lives.

My tahoe had got vandalized,had gotten keyed.so i took it to fisher.they seem friendly at first.they had to repaint they entire truck (so they said).charge me 6,400 to do they job.picked up my truck gotten home and noticed paint lines,where they just didnt paint it correctly.so took it back and they told me to pretty much get lost.its been six months and the paint is chipping every where on the truck.i would not deal with thim at all.any one have questions they can asked me.I can post pictures and receipts of work done.horribly job and very rude.
