I never imagined I would say, the day my car broke down and was stranded in the middle of nowhere, a day I hope to never forget. My dad and I were driving from Michigan to Denver when the plug to my oil tank completely fell off. I didnt consider road tripping on a holiday weekend an issue. I regret saying we called AAA, Subaru, among others for help and everyone offered us few options. My dad informed me he found someone who would pick us up and he said he had a really good feeling about this guy. Little did I know what I was in for. Mark from Zielke towing was a literal angel. I had a real life Bruce Almighty, is this Morgan Freeman moment. He was a sigh of relief the moment he arrived. Mark assured me that he was going to do everything possible to get us back on the road and boy did he. Not only was the towing experience beyond, he took us to Zielkes repair shop where he got to work on my car immediately. Before that, we was hot on the phone calling people to problem shoot my car issue and figure out solutions. ON A SUNDAY and HOLIDAY WEEKEND another employee or possible owner of the shop, swung by with his kids in car and delegated a solution. It was one of the most phenomenal experiences Ive had in my life. I had little hope we would continue our journey home but within a hour or two we were well on our way. It gave my dad and I something to talk about on repeat for 20 hours. They literally saved us. The only down side to the experience is I live in Denver and that I cant regularly visit these guys and have my car worked on by them. I still regret not giving Mark a big hug. He gave me so much more than a safe car that got me home but instilled that there are still good people out in the world just wanting to help each other. Because of Mark I will continue to pay it forward many times over. Mark went above and beyond and had me smiling throughout the entire experience. He not only showed me how he fixed the problem but taught me a lot about my car and how to demand good quality work, which can be hard if youre a girl! If your car is going to break down, fingers crossed its near Benton Harbor so you can call Zielkes and experience Marks spirit. We got a flat tire while heading out of town for the weekend. Mark towed us, helped us quickly get a tire, installed the tire and we were on our way while barely noticing the delay in our trip. If not for Mark, our weekend would have been spent sitting in a tire shop waiting for service. Days later I still find myself talking about the awesome tow truck driver that saved the day. Zielke Towing and especially our driver Mark were GREAT during a difficult experience where we needed to have our car towed. We had a car emergency on Sunday of Labor Day weekend and unexpectedly had to stay in Benton Harbor until the Tuesday after Labor Day to be able to get things worked out so that we could get home to Carmel, Indiana. I was at a hotel in Benton Harbor with my 3 daughters and my car was stuck in the AutoZone parking lot in Coloma near where the car trouble had started. I needed to have my car towed to South Haven and Mark went above and beyond to not only tow my car but to come pick us up from the hotel in Benton Harbor and also to transport us to South Haven. During a very challenging weekend Mark was a HUGE BRIGHT SPOT and actually made the towing experience FUN (if ever you could have fun with having the need to have your car towed) for my girls and for me. Our van broke down (carrying two adults and three kiddos under 7) on the highway on a Sunday afternoon and we found Zielke’s Towing from a google search. Mark answered the first time we called, and was to us within 40 minutes. While we waited, he had a friend of his come and bring us water bottles and wait with us until he got there. Zielke was sent out by our insurance companys roadside assistance program for a flat tire we got at a vacation rental. They were awesome!!It was Saturday morning of a holiday weekend but they came out promptly. The first driver had some mechanical issues with his truck, but the backup truck was on hand 20 minutes later! The tire shop we intended on using was closed for business, but Zielke had us covered; our driver took us to buy a tire at a different shop and then installed it for us so we didnt have to wait around all day at Discount Tire. Best part: they didnt even charge us for the extra driving or for the tire install!The original truck driver (didnt catch his name), the tire installer (Mark) and the owner (Jason) are wonderful people to work with. They really helped our young family out of a tight spot while on vacation. The service from Zielke was just above and beyond!

I had the pleasure of being stranded on the highway. Yes pleasure! If not for being stranded, I would have never met Mark. Best tow truck operator ever!!! I had called no less than 4 other companies. After about the worst day at work, I picked up my son, and drove to McDonalds. Right after we got our food, my vehicle broke down. Luckily, Zielkes towing responded quickly! We broke down on I-94 in a construction zone. Mark showed up in minutes and was quick and professional. The experience with this company has been nothing short of a god send-About us we are a traveling nomad couple that just wants to have the family van life and see the world, we used to have a Nissan Cube that we made work for living inside of it was 44 cubic inches but we made the big decision of trading our perfectly working 13 cube for a dodge 250 van and it needs some tlc and repairsLong story short we got 200 miles out of the city from the trade and broke down and we’re stuck at Walmart and had to put a couple hundred in it and we were hoping it would start but it didn’t so with the immense help of Mark and getting us hooked up with Duane it literally saved our car and more importantly our lives 💙All in all if ANYONE literally anyone needs a tow, call this wonderful building, there is an angel watching over the brave people that clock in every single day to help those in need and the knowledge that they have shown us is completely amazing. By far the most unprofessional place I have ever been too. I needed a simple ball joint replaced. The mechanics were arrogant and I was told they would look at my vehicle that day then they said they could not look at for four days. Mike was a lifesaver. Not only did he find me in a timely manner (when Id messed up my front axle and was stranded in a place that was strange to me), he took me straight to a shop of friendly mechanics who didnt try to swindle me and had everything I needed. Took a night to get my baby fixed, but Mike even drove me to my hotel (very few cabs here). All in all, the best accident Ive ever had. Never thought those words would go together, but there they are. Excellent service.
