They did a smallish job at our home and it was a great experience from beginning to end. The floor looks great.Supervisor was available for concerns. He returned calls. Questions were thoroughly answered (supervisor even phoned the coating manufacturer to make sure he answered one of my questions correctly!)Several days after job was finished, supervisor visited again to confirm floor had dried correctly. Then later returned with another employee to move furniture.

This is the second time I have used The Hardwood Floor Company, and I highly recommend them. I started off with just replacing the flooring in my living, dining rooms and hallway. However, I liked the floors so much I just completed doing 3 bedrooms! The house looks like new, and I LOVE IT!! The crew was amazing and ripped all carpet and replaced the flooring in two days!! I cannot say enough about the quality of work, their no-nonsense business ethics, and everything was totally cleaned up when the project was done. This company and employees are amazing and I highly recommend The Hardwood Floor Company for any of your flooring needs!!!

Our Hardwood floors were dark brown in our dark home. I wanted them lighted up and stained in a white wash. As well- Master and Office were carpeted and they tore it out and put hardwood in. It is absolutely gorgeous. I got two quotes in the area and this place came in lower. The guys were super nice and as tidy as is possible while sanding an entire first floor. We had The Hardwood Floor Company install an engineered wood floor in our master bedroom. They were great to work with--very responsive and punctual. We had a couple of small issues that came up with the transition pieces by the exterior door and the interior hallway. They came back out and addressed the issues, and all is good. After receiving apologetic calls from the company, we decided to give them another chance to prove themselves because everyone makes mistakes, and I no longer felt disorganization was systemic throughout their business. Joe, Chris, Mike — I know I’m forgetting someone, sorry — were all professional and pleasant to deal with. Within a week they installed new hardwood flooring, taking care when removing the baseboards and doors, and keeping the work area tidied each night. When the job was complete and we identified areas we had questions about, they quickly addressed those. We did have to wipe dirty fingerprints off the white woodwork, but that’s a minor complaint. Overall, we were very satisfied with our second experience with The Hardwood Floor Co. and would recommend them to you.It might seem unusual to leave a review when I haven’t actually worked with the company, but I think pre-relationship communications speak volumes as to how a future relationship might evolve. I called to get an appointment for an estimate to install wood flooring in our home. I was told Joe (the estimator) was very busy so they’d have to call me later that week or the first of the next week when they knew his schedule. Since I wasn’t in a particular hurry to get the estimate, I gave my name, address and phone number and said I’d wait to hear back. When I hadn’t t heard back by the end of the following week, I decided to call again. I gave my name and said why I was calling. They had no record of my first call. This time, however, I secured an appointment for the following Thursday, between 1:30 and 2:00, for Joe to come to our home. So, the following Thursday at 2:10 I’m thinking I should be seeing Joe at any time or getting a call telling me he’s delayed. As I’m writing this, it is the day after my appointment, and I’ve never heard a word back.

They were able to seamlessly match the wood to an uneven floor surface and you cannot tell AT ALL where the old floor meets the new. Great company. They did an awesome job on our floors. Nice and personable also. They were meticulous!

David Koski laid a beautiful floor in our new home, including a large staircase, two landings, living room, dining area, sitting room, kitchen, hall and bedroom. Right before our C.O., the plumber forgot to turn off something in the dishwasher, and the entire bottom floor of the house was flooded. David and his crew had to take up the entire floor, base, and trim pieces around the doors. He did this with a professional attitude and got on the job ASAP. The second time around, the floor was, if anything, more beautiful than the first. We couldnt be happier with his service, his attitude, professionalism and enjoyable personality. There was never any swearing or uncomfortable behavior exhibited by him or any of his crew. A great experience.

David installed wood flooring in our house and did a beautiful job. However, a piece of slate from the kitchen was broken during installation. David removed the slate and was to return to put in a new piece -- that was November! He was also to return to seal some of the spaces between the slate and wood flooring. I have contacted him 3 times to no avail. I could recommend this company since the job is really not completed. I have to hire someone to replace the slate and I will seal the spaces myself.

I hate when companies leave their flyers on the ground by my door. This flyer even had a hanger which would still have been bad, but better. Buy stamps or take out an ad somewhere. I dont need more trash I have to reach down and pick up.

David has done a great job for us and has been very easy to work with. Not only does the work look great, but he has been excellent on the service side of things by communicating well and regularly and letting me know what to expect regarding his schedule.
