I came to Outland Motors hoping they could help me find a specific Range Rover - an L322 model, supercharged, in my preferred spec and cooler combo. From our first conversation, Ellen gave me the confidence that they had an incredible amount of knowledge about what to look for, common issues, and just knew their way around these sometimes issue-prone vehicles. After also talking with Bill, I started the special order process. Bill kept me well updated through all this, and ultimately found the perfect Range Rover for me, far exceeding my expectations. This was the nicest L322 Range Rover I’d ever seen, looking like a new car and clearly well looked after through its life.Bill’s attention to detail, knowledge, and understanding of what I was looking for, meant I could absolutely trust Outland through this process. The car was mechanically checked over, serviced and detailed beautifully before I came for the final check and purchase. Nothing was hidden, and there was complete transparency about blemishes and potential minor issues they had found or fixed.Working with Outland completely changed my view on buying through car dealers - every step was an absolute joy, and they truly made buying a car a great experience. I waited a couple of weeks to write this, and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Outland again (in fact I absolutely will for any future car purchases).Huge thank you to Bill, Ellen, Jordan and the Outland crew!

I would not bring my vehicle here nor would I recommend you to. The person who does the ordering consistently orders the wrong parts or not everything that is needed for the job and then blames everyone else to cover for it. She was rude, condescending and just unpleasant to deal with.

My wife and I just purchased a Land Rover from Bill sight unseen and had it delivered. Not something Ive ever done before but after having talked with Bill it was clear that he knew what he was doing and that gave us great confidence. No pressure, just facts and the information we needed. We love the car and the experience of purchasing it was great so it was a double win. Definitely recommend.

This was the best experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. When you buy a 21 year old Porsche that you are going to drive across the country you have all the worries. Bill and his mechanic ensured that I knew everything about the vehicle and went above and beyond to repair anything and everything that they would do if they were making the trip. Bill did not have to do any of this but he did. The vehicle was even better than represented. Bill is more of a partner to his buyers and runs what I believe to be the most honorable car dealership I have ever come across. It’s saying a lot when I say that the when it’s time to buy another vehicle it will be from a dealer that is over 3000 miles away.

I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with Outland Motors. First of all I made a phone call and I spoke to Ellen who was absolutely wonderful and so friendly on the phone. I love that she was really upfront about the Range Rover I was originally calling about and said they’re was a lot of interest etc. I still had to do an app, credit and all that stuff. When I looked again, a few days later, it was already sold. I guess it worked out perfect because when I called back she had another Range Rover that I knew I’d like. She ran my credit, I called back and spoke to Bill, the owner, who was also really really nice. I told him a few things that I had to do first, he said that he would hold the car for me and he actually did. This dealership is a husband and wife team that run it together and I cannot tell you how easy they made the process and how fun they both were to deal with. I have never been so impressed with a company like I am with them. I had called around a few companies for Insurance. and Ellen ended up getting all the paperwork for my insurance and handling DMV and just doing way more than any other company has ever done that I’ve purchased through. They aren’t pushy and they are truly people of their word. They could’ve sold the Range Rover that they were holding for me probably to three other people but they held it for me. I really appreciate that. I will tell you, you totally would not ever be disappointed with the service that they have...they are the real deal ! And they have a full service department which is great for when I need my car serviced. Thank you to you Bill, and especially your better half Ellen. Lol. 🌸

I purchased a 2011 Audi Q5 in July of this year. I experienced major problems within a few weeks. After weeks of conversations through email and phone with Bill and Ellen assuring me they would help, they have done nothing. I didnt learn they sold me a car that had a class action settlement until it was too late. The settlement allowed for an extended warranty up to 80,000 miles. Bill sold me the car at 81,000 miles without the repairs having been done. He had lots of reasons why he wasnt responsible. The car should have never left his lot in the condition it was in. I gave countless opportunities for him to remedy the situation. I finally gave up. His idea of making things right is having me transport the car to and from Bend at my cost to have the car repaired at my cost. He claims this would save me a significant amount of money. This just isnt true. He repeatedly said this was more than fair. It is sad that my only recourse is an accurate review of Outland Motors. It was my auto repair shop who found out the car was part of the class action settlement and the car was sold to me just after the extended warranty had expired without the repairs having been done.

Cleanest and nicest used truck I found for the best $$ value! I had been looking for a truck with very specific trim, color, and mileage within my budget. Then I found Outland Motors. Bill was very knowledgeable and did not try to outsell the vehicle at all. Allison and Ellen were very accommodating to my requests (I was communicating and trying to work things out 150miles away from Bend) and they were able to get things done for me!We are so happy with our experience with Outland Motors well be going back to them for another vehicle soon!

Very nice boutique dealer, I found the car on CarGurus, it was priced right and I bought it. Ellen, Bill and Joseph were all very friendly and easy to talk to. There was a few paper work issues that I had to go back and forth to get signed, and my wife and I were juggling babies to get it all taken care of, but Joseph our salesman went the extra mile to bring the last piece of missing paperwork by after our kids were asleep.

Ive known Bill (the owner of Outland) for about 6 months, he came highly recommended. Weve purchased a Range Sport from him, which - through no fault of Outlands - developed a few major problems. The service provided from Outland Motors truly is one of a kind, their extremely professional team went out of their way to assist me in inspecting and trouble shooting the problems I was facing with my 2003 Land Rover. Even though the outlook on the vehicle looks grim (due to external issues, when purchasing from another dealership) their prompt communication and transparency was one that I fail to find with most organizations I conduct business with. I truly can’t say enough great things about Mike, Ellen, and the rest of the team and would highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a new vehicle or services on their current vehicle! Bill, Allison and Ellen was great to work with. When purchasing a used Land Rover you MUST be careful about service history. I went against their advice and purchased private party. The truck checked out for the most part, but it was apparent that a non-rover mechanic had worked on the vehicle. I drove it back up to Bend and got things sorted out by Outland Motors technician. Communication is second to none. They have a very honest approach to what the truck needed or did not need which was great. Rates were very competitive as well! If you are seeking a pre-owned Land Rover product this is the ONLY stop in Central Oregon. Highly recommended.

HUGE thanks to Bill and Mike for their exceptional attention to the Customer Experience, and for proving that their hearts are in the Land Rover community 100%. I met Bill outside Bend Brewing Co - as I pulled in late evening in my 1971 SIIA 109. Id done 430 miles that day and was wiped. Id noticed some wetness under the Rover as well as a hole in my rear muffler. Bill said to bring the rig to his shop at 0900 - and - even though they had scheduled appointments at that time, he would give the rig a once over and have me on my way. I know my rig well and so just wanted another trained eye to give her a look at. I pulled in at 0900 and he was there with his tech - Mike - ready to help me out. We topped up my transfer case, checked my diff fluid levels and gave her a wipe down.All the while their excitement was genuine - and they were thrilled to be working on the rig. Long Story - Short version is this. They proved passion for the brand, knowledge of the product and they showed that their commitment to the Land Rover and OverLand community is there. I drove from Utah. (Over 10 hour drive) I was looking for an LR3 for some time all over Utah. I found Outland Motors on Auto Trader and noticed they had a few LR3s & LR4s. I was looking for a white one and they had the one I was trying to find. I called and talked with Allison and gave her a deposit over the phone. (It was non-refundable) She said the vehicle was in excellent condition and that they go through the cars and recondition and fix anything that may be wrong. I trusted her and in the end I was not disappointed! We love our new Land Rover and had a nice 10 hour test drive home and it drove perfectly. I would recommend Outland to anyone and will probably buy another car from them in the future. Maybe an LR4 when I am ready to upgrade.

WARNING. Once you leave the lot the customer service aspect changes from friendly to negative. Be sure that all engine warnings are off before purchasing! We were told that the transmission warning was from the brakes. It wasnt and if you think a transmission is cheap they arent! Then the passenger door wouldnt lock. The Back Up Sensors were broken. Then the final straw was it didnt pass DEQ which I thought the dealer tests (however that also was left out). So in the end Outland did agree to take the car back for $1,500 plus a shipping fee of $200 so the car didnt get extra miles as long as we received the plates fee of $171.00 back. However after getting the car back Outland said we put to many miles on it anyways and said they owed us nothing and I now have about 50 hate text messages from the owner Bill. Im sure there will be backlash for this bad review but I am just amazed how badly this was handled and the lack of communication at the dealership as I sent all the information regarding the cars miles to the office manager like I was told. Then however told I should have told the owner. So in the end we had the rig for a couple of weeks, had many undisclosed issues and then it failed DEQ which by Oregon law requires the dealer to fix or take it back! Well to avoid a big hassle we just paid $1700.00 to be done! However Outland decided to make it more stressful on my pregnant wife and I by also sending many many hateful text messages until finally I had to block them from my phone. Good Luck if you Buy. If you do at least have a 3rd party do a complete inspection! Its $$$ well spent if you buy from Outland.

When Outland Motors first opened, I checked it out. They had such beautiful cars and I quickly decided I wanted to trade in my car for a newer Acura MDX. Gorgeous car. Then several months later I thought of Outland Motors when my college daughter needed a car. We went back and found a beautiful Suburu for her. Bill is awesome to work with, the process was so easy and quick, and we have loved the high quality vehicles we have purchased. Wow! The first dealership I have been treated this well. Our situation was unique in a way that people I never met went out of their way to help us.Our story begins at looking at some land rovers on line so we drove around and looked at couple and were turning around in Subaru of bends parking lot when we saw our Rover!, we thought there it is. We drove it they said they did a inspection and said it was a solid vehicle and we bought it and were on our way.We had only owned it a couple weeks and it through a transmission fault ( to protect the transmission from being destroyed you are in park) so I quickly searched and found Outland Motors.I never had been treated so well from a business they never met me but they let their mechanic Jacob talk me through what it was doing and how to get it moved. I did exactly what he said and he was 100% right.So then I called Subaru of bend to have them repair the vehicle that I bought 3 weeks ago they said its not a Subaru cant help you I said look man you guys sold me something that you said was solid it just needs scanned and a sensor repaired I will have it towed to you just fix it they agreed but after having it a week they got the sensor that Outland told them what it was by the way Outland Motors mechanic Jacob spent time helping them repair our Rover over the phone.Subaru of bend got the part tried to install it and failed, They said cant fix it come get it what service? Ya right,even after they researched and called so many different people for help they Could not figure it out. I called Ellen and told her the situation she said bring it here we can help you for sure.So I drove to bend and picked up the Rover from the Subaru Service dept. which thier service was terrible by the way. Jacob told me how to bypass to get the rover to safety which I was able to bring it to Outland. The shop was closed but Ellen drove me back across town to get our other car I drove in to bend. She said we are busy very busy but we will get your rover in as soon as we canThey did once Jacob finished the customers in front of us he Repaired our Rover and checked it over for anything that could go wrong or need fixed. I got the call from Ellen your Rover is ready Jacob found the problem and fixed itThe problem was the install with the new sensor was not exact how its supposed to be and the did not do any checking on other electrical components, they gave up on something they could have repaired. They charged me a fair price for their time which is very reasonable.Any way I picked up the Rover and met Allison who was smart and very helpful, I met Jacob who knows what hes doing and does what he says he can and will do, And I met Bill we never met before but he treated me like a friend and researched our Rover and told me the history of it and I found out so much from him.The point I want to leave with you in this review is if you want a local business who will go above and beyond, call Outland Motors.Thank you so much Erin,Allison,Jacob and Bill Keep up your incredible service.
