Removed my previous five stars as with the revolving door of managers I have no idea how it will be now. I like this gym as it’s not overcrowded and close to my house but they cannot keep a manager. The last manager Cassie, did an awesome job so we will see.

Ok so this isnt even my gym. I signed up for Anytime Fitness in Arlington and then visited this gym TWICE while visiting Benbrook. Afterwards they changed my location membership from Arlington to Benbrook without my consent and then charged me on a continuous contract which is not the one I had signed up for with Arlington and then sent it to collections. I didnt even find out about any of this until years later now talking to the collection agency, but of course there is no working phone number. Does this place even still exist?

I guess they cant afford to keep the heat on in this place. Worked out and it was 59 degrees inside. Not the first time it’s been unreasonably cold. Pretty basic equipment but can’t seem to keep all of it working at any given time. Key scanner doesn’t work either so anyone can walk in the front door unchecked.

Benbrook anytime fitness has terrible heating and air-conditioning. It’s like working out outside. It’s freezing on cold days, almost to the point that you can see your breath! And it’s hot and humid if it’s warm outside. In the summer If it’s 90°,it’s like a sauna. If I wanted to work out outside I wouldn’t have bought a membership!

I come to this gym four to five times a week. It seems like there is always something wrong. The AC in the studio has been broken since the beginning of Summer. Right now, there is no toilet paper, no paper towels, and no hand soap in any of the bathrooms. Its flu season! Lastly, there has been a dead bird on the sidewalk in front of the entrance for 5 days.

Best place to workout in Benbrook!The staff treat you just like family I was a member here and LOVED IT and when a job opening became available of course I jumped on it right away... now I am so happy and proud to be a part of this family fitness team!!

This is a very nice place to work out. Its always clean and the machines are ready to go. The manager, Trinity, is very knowledgeable, professional, and eager to help. She is great at motivating people and always has a great attitude. I highly recommend this gym!!

This gym is great. The new manager is awesome, she has worked hard to get this place back to where it needs to be. Its clean and smells nice. Wouldnt go elsewhere

I don’t write bad reviews. Read all my reviews, I normally leave places good reviews but this had to be done. I would stay away from this club. I canceled my membership on October 9th and was told on October 10th that anytime would withdraw 1 more month of payments and no more. Well on October 20th like expected a payment was withdrawn from my bank account and that was supposed to be the last one. But I wake up on November 20 and see that anytime has withdrawn another payment from my bank which I didn’t have the funds for because there was only supposed to be one more pay withdrawn after cancellation creating a transfer fee from my bank.All that we have gotten is the run around from the owner. They now claim that our membership was transferred to another club. So I asked why they didn’t inform us of this and it could have saved money. But the owner does not answer questions directly only jumps around the issue and is not taking responsibility for the part in this.

Gave this gym another try- tomorrow mg no soap or towels in bathroom. No staff during what is supposed to be staffed hours. Truly neglected. Will drive 35 mins to a cleaner gym.

Perfect facility for all types of weight lifters, fitness enthusiast and healthy lifestyle advocates. I enjoy every work out especially since the gym is clean, organized and never to busy!

In town for Thanksgiving holiday and had to fight 20 minutes of construction traffic to arrive at an unstaffed for the holiday facility. A handwritten sign on the door states that key sensor isnt working and to go around back. After mucking our way around an entire shopping center, we find another locked door. Maybe before leaving for the holiday, repairs should have been in order and the facility left in proper working order? Just a suggestion from a paying member.

Checked out on this location a few weeks ago since its right down the road from me. When I talked to the dudebro at the counter he seemed like he was either stoned or just didnt care someone was there thinking about joining. From what little I saw it looked very trashy. Considering the amount he offhandedly said, I cant help feeling at least planet fitness is somewhat presentable.

Consumers beware, the owner of this location, Jessica, is a magnet for drama on a level I have not seen since I was in middle school. After having voiced several concerns in a Facebook review, there were THREATS of a lawsuit if the review was not removed. The messages from her continued until 11pm, as she still continued to attack character and divulged personal client information in a PUBLIC forum. Shame. Anytime Fitness used to have stellar service and outstanding people working for them, what happened? Clearly the corporate office has no idea what this woman is doing to their business. What an embarrassment. I’ll go back to 24 and pay the extra $15 a month if it means the owner doesn’t attack me personally for voicing VALID concerns that previously been brought to their attention - BEFORE the review was written.

Totally love working out at Anytime Fitness, Benbrook location!! Very nice, clean, nice to work out here, very cozy atmosphere and the manager/ trainer, Trinity Jimenez strives to help you reach your goal.Do yourself a favor go work out, meet Trinity and tell her Maci Chapman sent you.

Great gym I loved it the manager she was really nice the equipment was really nice it was so clean and the prices are affordable and being for 24 hours is great for my busy life i recommend going to this gym

This is probably the worst gym Ive ever been too. Its never clean and the manager is rarely in the building. Machines are always broken and nothing ever gets fixed at this location. When you try to cancel your membership be sure and get a copy of your paperwork or they will say you didnt fill it out to charge you a couple more months of membership fees even though you turned in your key and moved out of state. Save your money and choose another gym because I promise you will be unhappy with this one.

Im upset and disappointed.I drove here today a 30 min commute. Ready to workout. And the doors will not open. My key fob won’t work. So I call the number and get out of the rain and back in the car.The lady said yeah its not working right now due to at&t connection. I said ok...so I won’t get in till when? She said well im in granbury (thats the other location they have, that person). She said she can get here around 10 am to open the doors. That doesn’t work for me, I get hear early to workout before work, before 8 am to be exact.Yes I know its not their fault the doors don’t open. But if you have a place of business and you know the doors will not open.1. Post it some where online.2. Have an employee stay up here with doors unlocked.3. Problem solved.I wasted my morning I was ready to workout. I will not go here again so happy I didn’t sign up with benbrook. I’ll go to the hudsonoaks one where they have good staff.

They dont honor the terms of their contracts.

Sucks bad. They hire the worst employyes, then they fire them. Not even worth a star. Every manager Ive canceled with has got fired. (3). So yes Im still paying for a gym I dont go to. Please if you want to join a gym dont go here. Not unless you plan on being a member for Life. Thats the truth Im not making any of this up.

Absolutely the worst gym experience youll ever get.Have been through 3 managers since I transferred locations (4 months)... only transferred bc I moved to the area.was told we could add my girlfiend to my account. Gym ends up charging her $150 plus and her key never worked. Managers too incompetent to figure out how to fix it and owner too stupid to care and make things right before she ruins a loyal anytime fitness account for life. Thank god my two year contract ends in a month. Going to the YMCA, only $50 for two members no contract and you get way better amenities. Bring your Benbrook utility bill for a discount.

These people are crooks. Do not even think about joining their gym. They are dishonest and unethical who try to hold you to a nonexistent contract. Pick any gym but them.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CONSIDERING A MEMBERSHIP HEREI cant speak for the anytime fitness locations owned by other franchisees, but this location and the Arlington location have the same owner that doesnt seem to care that the employees are modifying contracts after they have been signed. About 6 months ago, I walked into the Arlington location and told Don that I would like to start a month to month membership which I could cancel at any time. I was very clear about this and there is no way that he did not understand me. I opted to pay approximately $55 per month for a month to month rather than about $30/month for a contract. I even went so far as to put a 0 in the contract term field of the form because it did not specify month to month anywhere. Long story short, I attempted to cancel the membership because the key they gave me would not open the door. Once they learned that I wanted to cancel, they gave me the runaround for several days, then told me that I couldnt cancel because I had a 12 month contract. I looked at the sheet that he gave me and it wasnt the contract. He only gave me a folded receipt. (I didnt feel that I needed to check as he seemed like a nice guy.) When I asked for a copy of the so called contract, they did everything but flat out refuse to give me a copy of it. The manager at the Benbrook location goes by Xeno. He claimed that neither he nor Don could access the contract for 30 days. I even went into the Benbrook location and he would not even give me a copy of a blank contract. I finally resorted to emailing the franchisee and explaining everything. The response that came back completely ignored the treatment that I was getting from her staff. She did attach a copy of the contract which showed that someone had scribbled out my 0 and put a 12 in the contract term field. I was told that this meant I had a contract with the company. Any attorney will tell you that modifications to a contract that havent been initialed make the contract void. Despite this, the billing company (ABC Financial Services) will not cancel the membership until they receive word from the Anytime Fitness location. They have now turned it over to a collections agency that is threatening to put it on my credit report and sue me. I typed all of this out as a word of caution to anyone considering using this gym.

Machines are worn down and the dang signage lighting has been out for over six months. Entry door sensor seems like it is falling apart. Battle rope is frayed and taped. I mean how much to replace a battle rope. Really regret my membership.

More of a do it yourself type of gym, great for individuals who know what they are doing and dont need to depend on employee help. Like having a gym in your home but not having to buy al the equipment.

Very good workout gym. Not busy, never really have to wait on equipment.

Not well maintained at all. Things broke frequently. My spouse found used injection needles on a table. Overall not a good experience.
