Alex Auto Mechanic was recommended by my oil change guys at Grease Monkey. Very helpful and polite employees, extremely fair prices, and the cheapest towing rate in town too. Will definitely recommend them to all my friends. So refreshing to actually have honest mechanics you can depend on. Edit: I had to take my car back a week later to get more repairs because my tie rods and control arm bars snapped due to old age (was told by Grease Monkey they were bad before I even went to Alex) They towed my car at 6pm in the evening, fast and efficiently. The next day all was repaired and the cost was nothing short of amazing! For the parts, labor, tow charge and taxes was just a little over $400. You cant beat that price anywhere. Will ALWAYS take my car here if I need repairs or maintenance.

This businesses staff is very kind & respectful and quick when attending to customers. Their prices are the best in town by far. And this is from personal experiences having my vehicles worked on around town. Fast and prompt service along with great price

I needed a tow earlier today. Alex and one of his staff came and flawlessly handled the tow. Both were incredibly nice, knowledgeable and handled my vehicle as if it were their own. I am in awe of how nice they were. Furthermore, I would like to say thank you to the 10 or so citizens who stopped to be sure I was okay due to my situation. Special thanks to the young lady who made a U-turn, pulled over, got out of her vehicle and checked on me to be sure I was okay. To the people of Belvidere, thank you so much for caring.
