Hands down best experience Ive ever had with a mechanic. Super communicative, isnt trying to fleece anyone. Owner is awesome, and its obvious hes really passionate about his work and the quality of it.Absolutely recommended without hesitation.

Had an appointment for service today and there was nobody there. He did not answer phone calls or emails until one hour later, by which time I was long gone of course. His message also mentioned that they have been open since 8 am, trying to deceive the Open Bay app by trying to establish me as a lyer.

Ive never had a shop owner joke with me before like this one did. The customer service was exceptional. He did a lot of work on my car and didnt charge me an arm and a leg. The prices were more than fair and the work on the car was top notch. He was very detailed and methodical in fixing my car. After my first car repair there this place is officially my new mechanic. He is the most honest person, even telling me I can get a better deal at the dealer if that is the case. He accommodates our schedules, works quickly and truly knows cars. I trust him completely. Found Auto Care of Redwood Shores from Open Bay which has a reputation of enrolling only quality repair shops. Jeff was great explained what needed to be done and the price. He was the 1st repair shop Ive gone to in over 10 years that actually saved the part he replaced and showed it to me. In the day I dropped off my minivan I observed Jeff asking a customer if they knew how to check the engine oil and transmission level. When the customer said no he took the time to show them. He even cleaned my engine bay so it looked new. To top it off he was funny. I definitely will take my car repair business back to Auto Care of Redwood Shores even though I live in Daly City. Jeff is great with a variety of cars. Has worked on the cars for our entire family for decades now. The latest is reviving my 2008 BMW M550i that I had parked on the side of the house for a couple of years due to a number of mechanical issues.

Im very happy with my first experience at this shop. Both of my cars have only been serviced at the dealership prior to this year. I feel that the service I received at Auto Care of Redwood Shores was better than the dealership while the cost was lower. Jeff was easy to talk to and thoroughly explained what needed to be done and the time and costs required. Both cars were finished on time and I could actually feel them handling better while driving them afterwards. I definitely recommend Auto Care of Redwood Shores and will gladly return for my future car service needs.

There are some car repair shops that give you the runaround, won’t share much information and then charge you a fortune. This isn’t one of those places. Yes, they will charge you, but you’ll get a fair deal for superb service. They’ll be upfront, friendly, informative and incredibly professional. I have been to Auto care of Redwood Shores a few times now. Jeff always works with me to deliver high quality work at a fair price. He is always clear about exactly what he is doing and where my money is going, and always gets the job done in reasonable time; all qualities I look for in good auto care.

Ordered some control arm bushings thinking that I could rent some tools to press them in, and when that didnt work out, I called several places and they all were not able to handle the job. I read that Jeff could take anything apart and put it back together better than before and how true that is. He took a look at the control arms and bushings and did a perfect job. They fit like a glove!!!!! Very impressed...and it helped me out of a jam. Thanks Jeff!

All authorized parts, no corners cut. The car now drives like a dream. Very fast turnaround and offers of transport back and forth! Cant recommend highly enough.

Honestly this was the best experience at a mechanic I’ve had. Jeff was super accommodating, he explained things clearly and without judgement. I took a Prius there to check out that I was thinking about buying. He found some isssues and gave me clear advice around the purchase.
