Excellent patient care! Ive seen both Moreno and Young and if you have ever had a bad experience with dental procedures this is the place. Massage dental chairs, blanket, TV and blue tooth headphones, on top of exceptional skill and expertise by both Doctors. The office staff are wonderful and the assistants are too! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this practice and Ill recommend anyone personal or otherwise to make this their dental office for all their and their family needs, just as I have.

Exceptional experience. Really great for people with anxiety. They even have weighted blankets and warm neck wraps to keep you calm. I had no issues at all with what is usually a really painful experience due to previous surgeries. And! Dr. Moreno is not one to recommend a procedure unless it is actually necessary.

I dont know what all of these other reviews are about but I had a really negative experience at this place and there was absolutely nothing comforting about it. I went in for a dental bond on a chipped front tooth from physical trauma and Dr. Young told me I actually needed a crown because bonds dont last very long. This can be true but I have several friends who have had bonds on front teeth for years with no issues so that felt really weird to me that a more invasive and expensive procedure would be suggested before a bond. Also the dentist barely explained anything about what the procedure was going to entail, I had to ask for an x-ray to be done which was also weird since I just had physical trauma done to my teeth and honestly the bonding procedure was extremely painful and Im experiencing alot of soreness and pain even days after (and I am not sure how bonding a front tooth can cause so much pain throughout my mouth?) Also no one told me anything about aftercare. I literally felt like I was in the dark the entire time I was there about what was going on and feel like Ive never had to ask a dentist so many basic questions about what was going on that most would readily tell you. I also chose this place because I have dental anxiety and everyone saying they got weighted blankets and neck pillows and the staff made sure they were comfortable was not my experience at all (none of these were ever offered, and no one seemed to care at all that I was anxious or that I was clearly more anxious going through the experience). Honestly I found this to be one of the worst dentist experiences Ive had and Im just praying my mouth heals properly. Giving two stars for nice front desk staff, otherwise Id give this place zero.

The office of Dr. Young and Dr. Moreno is one of the good ones in Bellingham. I have been a patient at their dental office for more than 5 years. The staff are super friendly, they have great patient care, and when you have any questions about procedures, products (mouthguards, etc.), they explain everything in a very understandable way. They keep great records of all your visit and no matter which dental hygienist is working with you that day or Doctor for that matter, you will be getting that same care and attention to your dental needs. Highly recommend this office to all my friends, family members, and coworkers.

Im 83 and Ive been to a lot of dentists and I give Dr. Young an A+ on the care I have received. The whole office staff was a pleasure to be around. I felt important to everyone and would highly recommend their service!

Drs Moreno and Young are top flight dentists and their office staff is very efficient and friendly. From the front office to the dental assistants and hygienists, I am always greeted by name with smiles. Dr. Moreno is who I see and he knows how to give the numbing shots with no pain! He remembers what it takes to get me numb and the work has always been great. A nice little perk is the TV and headphones so I can watch TV while he works.

I had been in debilitating pain all weekend due to a fractured molar. Dr. Moreno and his staff were incredibly kind and proficient, and were able to help me with my dental emergency. I am now on a fast road to recovery. Thank you!

Ive had a great experience at Moreno & Young dental. As a college kid trying to find a new dentist in town, I was pretty nervous, but I lucked out tremendously! The front office staff has been extremely friendly and helpful in setting up appointments and giving me quotes for what my insurance will and wont cover. They are also prompt and polite when handling mistakes. I was given a quote that my insurance would cover the entire cost of a few fillings, but later received a bill for a couple hundred dollars. I gave them a call, and they quickly took care of the mix-up. I just got all four of my wisdom teeth removed, without being put under, and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Both Dr. Young and the dental assistant were great about checking in to make sure I was comfortable. The procedure was quick and painless. Three days later, my friends are amazed at how quick my recovery has been. Would definitely recommend!

This is the best dental office I have ever been to. You will not find more competent, and caring people anywhere. I have gone to them for a very intense procedure and have been nothing but happy. They take time to explain everything to you, and their number one priority is to make you feel comfortable, and safe. Beyond loved this place! The people are so caring and on top of things I can hardly believe it. They truly made this an awesome trip to the dentist, which I didnt even think was possible. They checked with my insurance on all my services to be sure they where covered, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. amazing amazing amazing!

The Moreno Dental office is an excellent outfit. The staff always gets me in on time and out quickly. Jessica is an awesome hygienist—painless, professional, and fast. Dr. Young is a very personable and skilled dentist. Hes done some excellent restorative work on me including a crown which is absolutely perfect. The office folks are friendly and punctual and always do their best to take care of the insurance. I would recommend Moreno Dental to anyone in the Bellingham area.

This was the best experience I have had going to the dentist.I needed to get an old filling redone and the worst part about dental work is getting that numbing injection. Dr. Young was very patient and it was best experience I have had. I highly recommend Dr. Young.

Everyone on the staff is super nice and helpful; the whole atmosphere of the office is comfortable. I saw Dr. Young for my initial exam and Dr. Moreno for all the work I had done. Both doctors are great. They explained everything so I could understand and make informed decisions, but werent at all condescending about it. They also give the extra effort to make you comfortable in the chair with a nice warm neck wrap, aromatherapy options, and ceiling-mounted TVs. I actually started to fall asleep a few times. There is even a great finance plan available if you dont have dental insurance (or if you have rubbish insurance like mine).

Dr. Moreno has been my dentist for nearly five years. His knowledge and skill level is superior. He has resolved some difficult issues with crowns for me. He and his staff are highly professional, welcoming, upbeat, and sincerely interested in your comfort and satisfaction. I highly recommend him and his practice.

Ridiculously expensive without insurance!! I took my little family in to get a check up and a cleaning $2,000 later they had taken ex rays and given us an idea of what was wrong. My daughter had a cavity. she was five. They charged $750 and covered the entire tooth. Now she’s six and the tooth is hurting so bad it wakes her up. Oh by the way had I had insurance they admitted me they would not have charged the insurance companies nearly as much. So let’s recap. Insurance companies catch a break retired military family with no dental insurance get screwed. I will never use these scam artist again. And will be getting my exrays as soon as possible.

Always treated like a person, and not a $$$. High level of care and very knowledgeable staff makes this place worth every bit of a 5☆ review.

I got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday, and the procedure went flawlessly. A little over 24 hours later I feel good with very minimal discomfort. Dr. Moreno has called me numerous times after the procedure to check on my pain level and any general questions I might have. Dr. Moreno is the best dentist I have ever had. The office, staff, and quality of dental work are truly outstanding. I highly recommend anyone who needs dental work done to check out Moreno Dental.

Ive been going to Dr. Moreno since he first moved to Bellingham and have seen Dr. Young on a couple of occasions when Dr. Moreno was out of town. They are both absolutely WONDERFUL, and the entire staff is a delight to deal with. Its a happy, upbeat place with a great sense of humor that makes going to the dentist a pleasure instead of something to dread.

Sorry to say that I had a bad experience with Dr. Moreno. He is a very likeable dentist but the x-rays he uses are two dimentional. Useless when it comes to diagnosing cavities or a problem. They should be three dimentional. He missed, completely, a wisdom tooth crown that had worn through and promoted decay within the tooth. I was able to get the crown extracted and replaced with a new crown by another competent dentist. When I showed the extracted crown with the hole in it to Dr. Moreno was quite ambivalent about it. I have not been back since.

This is my wifes favorite dentist so its now our family practice. Ive had a few routine cleanings and they all went well, but what really set Dr. Moreno apart was how well my wisdom tooth removal went. I had two on the right side removed and the process took about an hour, Dr. Moreno and his assistant were constantly checking on me to make sure I was fine, which I was because I had been given a lot of local anesthetic. When it was all over I literally asked, That was it? I had expected wisdom tooth removal to be some grossly brutal affair. Fortunately for me, it was rather mundane.Thanks Dr. Moreno!

I would not suggest anyone visiting this dental office. I was charged $80 out of pocket on my first visit because the office did not check with my insurance before they took x-rays. The secretary was extremely rude and told me that it was MY responsibility to check with my insurance before they took proceeded with their actions. They do fine dental work but unless you want to get charged more out of pocket, stay away.

My whole family has been going to Moreno and Young Dental for years now! Even after we moved an hour south of the office, we still travel just to see their friendly team for our appointments! We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr Young is a terrific dentist. He is a low key person, and did a fantastic job on my root canals and my crowns. He is friendly, and has a great bedside manner. He is easily the best dentist I have seen in my 44 years. My grandfather used to say dentists are the worst. I agree, but Dr Young is an exception to the rule. He worked on my wife as well, and his attitude about his work is best described as consistently perfectionist with a heavy dose of practicality. Both of my root canals were done without pain due to his attention to my comfort. The one wierd thing about this office is that the staff always seem to try to get me to schedule time with the dental hygenist without an appointment with Dr Young as well. That has never happened to me at other dentists, But Dr Young is worth the trouble, I just insist on making my appointment with him, and seeing the hygenist at the same time is fine.
