The person who helped me was not willing to see if they had the part that I wanted because he wasnt familiar with it that particular part. When I tired to tell him where it is on the the car and what it looks like he interrupted me and told me to drive to pick-n-pull in Arlington and look for it myself... a 2 hour round trip! From the schematic that I have and would have shown to Gundies you can clearly see if the part is present or not by simply opening up the hood of the car, and they werent willing to help me. It would be fine if they just didnt have it the part, but not wanting to check really gets me.UPDATE: I called another auto recycler and the person who helped me immediately said, Yea sure, Ill have my guy go out there and see if we have it and Ill call you back. Thanks other place.

I was trying to be a real adult by replacing the air filter in my car. In the process I dropped the clip to the air filter box down the engine compartment. After an hour of moving my car back and forth to see if it would fall out, I gave up and went to Gundies. Matt sent some Big Guy out to the yard to fetch the part. In the meantime, Matt was directing the office like a conductor with the Philadelphia Orchestra. Upon the Big Guys return, Matt directed me to, Have a nice day. The director didnt charge me a dime.Thank you Matt, the Big Guy, and the rest of the crew and Gundies. Even if I was charged, I would have enjoyed my experience watching experts at their job work.

Ordered transmission from them and gave them my vin number. They still sent the wrong part and when called about wrong part, josh had a friend come pick it up so I could get my refund faster. friend came and picked it up and a week later they sent their parts truck to pick up the part that had already been picked up. The guy that came to pick it up cursed the whole time and complained about the company he works for. I then called the company and asked about my refund thinking they were doing some shady business. when the company returned my call later that day, the company said I would see a refund later that day. Come Monday it was not in my account and Josh said it would be 2-14 weeks till I got my refund. Overall, horrible customer service and they did NOT want to be on the phone with me.

Ive gone to Gundies a few times for used parts (wheels, suspension pieces, headlights, etc.) The parts are as good as they get, affordable, and their customer service is great!!

They have some of the nices people work there ! They can fix you up any thing you need ! The prices great all so, I would not go any place else !

I needed a set of used headlights, $130 per assembly paid ahead of time without seeing them. I found multiple new one online for $150. In what world would someone pay $130 for used product from a salvaged vehicle without seeing them? I told the guy on the phone They cost $150 online and he instantly hung up, not willing to listen or discuss it all, just give me your money or get out. You are a salvage yard, act like it.

Well just by a very short and abrasive conversation I had over the phone with Josh, I will most likely shop else where or online for my used parts. Customer service skills were lacking to say the least. It’s unfortunate, I saw the star recommendations on Google but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Don’t bother with these guys.

I called Gundies in Graham, WA about 2 in the afternoon on a Friday. . They had exactly what I was looking for at their Portland location. They said they would have it removed, loaded on their truck, and that I could pick it up the next morning. They asked me if I wanted to pick it up in Graham, or Bellingham. I called right away at 0830 the next morning to make sure it was at the location I chose (Bellingham), and it was their waiting for me to pick up. Very impressive. I found a very nice, neat, clean, organized business with several very knowledgeable, friendly people who provided excellent customer service. From this point forward I will always call Gundies when looking for parts.Let me add this, the Bellingham, and Graham locations are located near some of the most beautiful scenery you will find in the State of WA, and the entire U.S., so get your parts, and then go enjoy yourself seeing some beautiful mountain scenery. There are good places too eat, and microbreweries near both of the locations I mentioned. You get to see either Mt Baker, or Mt Ranier. National Parks. Your choice. So, kill two birds with one stone, Parts, and Parks in one trip.

After I couldnt locate a couple parts for my car, a friend recommended that I give this place a call. To my surprise they had both parts available. Even better, the price was about 80% less than from the dealer and about 50% less than anything else I was able to find online.At first they were a little cold when greeting me as I walked in, but completely understandable as I accidentally left my mask in the car. Once I was masked up, and I started asking about another specialty car of mine and if they had parts for it, he didnt hesitate to motion for me to come behind the counter to look at his computer.Unlike other salvage lots, price includes them removing it and ready to pickup. Took a couple days as they had about 70 orders ahead of mine, but both parts were clean, new condition, tagged and ready at the time stated.Definitely will be making additional purchases as needed.

Father-in-laws car broke down on way home from church. A 1999 Camry. Precision Auto in Marysville estimated it would cost 2600 bucks to fix unless they found other problems in the enginel. Could go up to $4000 and could take up to 3 weeks for the repair.Called Gundies. Talked to Pete and John. They were amazing. Recommended a mechanic in Arlington who fixed the car for $803 which included a new timing belt, a new radiator and fixing an oil leak. John helped us through the process every step of the way. Car fixed in one day. Highly recommend this business. Would give them 10 stars.

Though a bit more expensive than other salvage yards, it nice not having to spend the time pulling your own parts. Especially considering our winter weather. Customer service has been great, both in sales and at front desk. It seems they always have that hard to find part needed.

Called amd asked for specific part and it was for wiring...the guy said we dont do wiring....i said oh shoot, and his response was ya nope-alright thanks and hung up. Wow! That was very rude.

They never call you back, and never take care of their orders.

About to say Id have to say if youre looking for engine parts car parts that are going to be reliable head down to gundys theyre going to do everything that they can to make sure that you get a good engine that will let you know that the engine that you were looking at originally that come for has like a rod knocking and yes they want to sell you the better engine take the better engine because they want you to have that reliability thank you gundies for helping me out I really appreciate you guys until next time see you later

I work for a dealership that required a rear hatch molding that no other salvage yard was able to extract. Not only that but they price matched, had it shipped in 2 days and did the best packing job Ive ever seen!

Prices are always WAY to high, by a lot I feel they forgot they are a scrap yard not new oem

I desperately needed a replacement part AND a tail light for my Trailblazer and stopped to see if they had either one. I was happy they were all wearing masks and it took them mere minutes to see that they had the part in their Graham store and the tailight in Bellingham. I left with the tailight and They called me the next morning to come pick up the part becuase they had it brought up that night. I ws busy but they focused on me and I was out of there in about 15 minutes. From now on, ANY time I need a part, Ill START with them, Polite, friendly and super quick! Thanks

Im not someone who enjoys posting 1 star reviews, however I feel the need to share my experience.I purchased a differential locker from these guys (Micah) and briefly inspected it before purchasing at the listed price as I expected them to be fair. I noticed some surface damage and I asked if the locker was functioning properly, and was told that the part had been tested and it works etc. etc. no issues with it. I trusted what I had been told, that it had been tested and it did work.A couple months later I got the locker on the bench, and upon further inspection I realized that I was lied to. The locker case had been damaged beyond repair, making the unit unusable, and when I tried to contact the manufacturer, I was told that they do not machine the case that way anymore, thus I could not buy a replacement. Upon reviewing my receipt I noticed their All parts subject to 30% restocking fee Warranty only good for X months disclaimers. I tried calling a couple times, and no solution was offered.These guys scammed me for $500 and I would expect thats how they do business normally, absolutely dishonest and unacceptable. Youve been warned, take your business elsewhere folks.Edit for these jokers;You knowingly sold a defective part, you told me that it had been tested prior to being listed for sale. There is a crack where the airline piece enters the carrier; this would not hold pressure/air so you (Micah) saying it was tested and is functioning is an outright lie.Your receipt states a 6 month warranty on defective parts, which is exactly what you sold me; lies, and a defective part.

My neighbors had their car towed by Gundies and my car ended up being dinged in the process, our parking lot is super tight and the truck was huge though, so it was not a big surprise.I went out to Gundies and explained what happened, the manager was super nice and reassuring and sent someone out immediately to fix it.There was no hassle and now my car is fixed and looking goood.

Because of my lack of mechanical skill, my order took some extra time. The staff was very busy helping other customers and my lack of decision making must have been a frustration to them. However a personal visit and conversation with Dan V. was an entirely different story! Dan was very helpful to determine exactly what I needed and explained what he had available in his system at that moment. An interchange based on patience, humor and understanding went very well! Because of Dan V, I will order all of my parts through Gundies. Compared to other parts yards they were very helpful/

These guys are rude and unprofessional! I bought a door over the phone on Friday and when I got there on Tuesday they told me that my door has damage (that damage was very bad!) and they were trying reach me over the phone but that wasnt true! I wasted gas, time and money. Dont waste your time with those people.

This shop was nothing but nice and very helpful. Clay is amazing and has gone above and beyond in helping me with my motor purchase. I have called several times and received the same great service each time. I would definitely recommend this place and will be using them again.

Drove 2 hours only to have them a charge more than what was listed online on a reputable parts finding site and b they didnt want to supply me with the complete part that I told them several times that I needed stay away from gundys at all costs

Jeff was an awesome rep. He helped me get the right part for my BMW Harman Kardon amplifier and double checked the actual part number with me prior to shipping. Installed the new amp and works beautifully. Would highly recommend.

Not really the place to go for your everyday Joe Blow. Theyre more focused on bigger fish and dont have time for small purchases.

People are far more likely to write a review if theyve got something negative to say. Most auto shops dont want to deal with your whiny bs and just tolerate it. Ordered an ECU from these guys and had no problem getting it to Canada fast, called up a few months later wondering on the invoice (forgot what it was for) and they were happy to help.Theyre busy, dont act so entitled over a cheap used part that wont help pay their rent. Probably should be buying it new if its that important anyway.

Great Service! I have been ordering parts from them for over 20 years and have always had great luck. When there was an issue one time, they took it back in, shipped it off and had it fixed in 2 days.

Was told I am getting seats for my Cadillac from a car with all doors intact. Got to the yard and my seats were soaked wet with mold starting to grow. All they said was oh, sorry. Marty salesman not very honest or helpful.

Curious if the company even requires a GED as a minimum to qualify as a sales rep !! Called 3 times asked is the door repainted and does it have damage . Kept getting the answer NO, I asked if I can come look at it and again got the answer NO ! Sure enough after 3 promises I got a damaged door that has been repainted and has bondo under the paint !

I just called and spoke with the most rude and condescending person I have ever dealt with in the service industry. I asked if they had front suspension from a Crown Victoria. The guy that answered the phone asked what year I was looking for and I responded that it really didnt matter. When he said that doesnt help I mentioned it could be 2006 or newer. Before I could relay why it didnt matter, he cut me off and proceeded to mock me by using an analogy of buying a shoe that didnt need to be a specific size or color. Shocked by this display, I didnt have a response in the moment and the employee said that he was going to transfer me to another person that had more patience...Extremely unprofessional!When the person he transferred me to didnt answer I called back to clarify my needs. After telling him that I was trying to find a front suspension to install in my F-100, and I was sure most years of suspension from 2002 to 2011 should work, he could do no less than fire back that he hears that from everybody. Clearly disappointed that I was just looking for professional feedback and rough pricing; he finally settled on pricing for a 2003 to 2005 K-member including coils, buckets and arms. After clarifying that the rest of the parts are stripped off and sold as cores as soon as the vehicle comes in.When its all said and done I was vague because I dont have a specific product in mind at this point in my restoration process, but I am looking for a place that has quality parts and some professional assistance. After my conversation today I can assure you that Gundies will not be that place for me!

Came in for an alternator for a 2004 Toyota Solara. Everybody was super nice and helpful. Dan went above and beyond by helping me install the alternator on the spot in their parking lot. Definitely reccomend!

I have purchased several used engines with no problems for my shop. I call Greg looking for an overflow tank for a car today and he is trying to sell me a tank for almost 50% more than a new one, telling me it has a pump in it even though there are no wires going to it, when I pointed that out he hung up on me, I called right back and got him in the phone and said are you the one who hung up on me? He immediately put my call on hold and then transferred me to a phone that only continued to ring on and on. No problem Gundies, there are plenty of junk yards around. No more business from me or anyone I can talk out of going to you. Had to give one star because zero stars is not an option. STAY AWAY

First impression when I called was that the guy hung up on me while trying to make an order.Being the patient person that I am, I called back anyways, made a prepayment on an axle, and Clay said itd be there in 2 days.5 days later, I got no follow up, so I call back again. I get hung up on after let me check. I call back YET AGAIN to get told that the order apparently never got processed and that hed call back to update me.Obviously he never calls back.I get fed up and finally drive over there for a refund only to be told that both the axles we had were bad and the card never got charged. Dont bother with this place.

Ive lived here for 9 years. They have never had any part for my vehicles. Ive had a 2005 Dodge truck, 1998 GMC truck, 2000 Subaru Outback wagon, and now a 1989 Isuzu Trooper. I dont know how these guys are still in business. All other states Ive lived in have had quality salvage yards. Dont waist your time. Go to Larrys in Mt. Vernon. Update 12 years now. Still don’t have parts.

Emailed them about a part, said id be by after work. Showed up and the part wasnt even pulled yet... Had a guy pull it, was the wrong one. Had another guy pull another and it was correct. Saved some money, very busy place. Would buy there again but make sure to tell them to pull the part before i arrive i guess. First thought was overpriced, but with a year warranty it was half the cost of a new one. So hopefully i got a good used part! If not ill bring it right back.

Big shout out to Mike Bell at Gundies! I bought a rebuildable truck from them and they were fantastic to work with. Being that this was a wrecked vehicle, I was of course hesitant about purchasing it. Mike was adamant about me being comfortable and wasnt pushy or rude at all. I bought it and they delivered the truck to my house at no charge. Thanks guys!

After trying so many times to get a fair price on a used car part I give up they are 30 + % overpriced on everything.Most everyone online is 30% less expensive than gundies. I remember when they were marketing JESUS to get peoples trust.It is sad that a local boneyard is so bent on taking advantage of the public and business alike with their over inflated prices and non negotiating skills.

I tried to look up a part on the website and of course it didnt work. Then a phone call with no answer and no response. Finally an email and several days later a quote. $95 for striker bolts, hinges, and latch for a tailgate. Amazon sells the same parts with free shipping for $85. Used parts with lousy service for $95, or new parts with warranty and backed my amazons customer service for $85...hmmmmm...let me think about this one.

Ordered a part over the phone. The salesman said they had to ship it from another location and that it would be there between 8:30-9:00. My vehicle was out of commission without the part and I wasnt going to pay $600 at a dealership (the only other place I could have gotten it.) I arrived at 9:30 (they are over an hour away from me) and they had no record of my order. They asked all the salesmen and nobody knew about it. One of the guys was able to finally find my order and directed me to the salesman (who had just said he didnt know the order.) Turns out the part wasnt going to make it so they decided to pull it from that location. Why didnt they just do that in the first place so I could have picked it up the day before??? They told me to come back in 30 minutes and the part would be ready. Came back 40 minutes later and they had pulled the WRONG PART. I had confirmed the part two or three times when I was ordering it, and before they pulled it that day. Had to wait another 30 minutes while they pulled the right part. The salesman first said that I didnt order the right part and then said a couple minutes later that it was his error. Use this place as a last resort, they might have a lot of parts but they seem really incompetent to me. Im rating it 2 stars instead of 1 because they did finally have the part after a lot of unnecessary frustration.

You would think this place is run by the competition. Ive never seen a place work so hard to not get my business. I called several times to see of they would scrap out my Subaru. The guy on the phone was rude and arrogant, he told me to email purchasing. I emailed purchasing and got no response so I called back to have him transfer my call to purchasing, he said the purchasing guy is gone and to just email him. When I told him I already did he said tough luck. At one point he even said purchasing doesnt even have an email. Do yourself a favor dont deal with these people.

(Not to mention the fact that the part I had just called on ten minutes before had jumped from being $150 to $450) I asked for their name, which they wouldnt give me, I then asked to speak to the manager, which they refused. Really unpleasant to deal with. They mocked me on the phone and then hung up. I believe the person I spoke to was Clay or Craig.Their online postings are inaccurate and misleading. They quoted me a price 2.5 times what a nearby competitor charges.

All I have to say is WOW... One of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had... Terrible customer service! Rude and condescending about sums this place up. (Also high prices). Go somewhere else or get your parts online.

Very bad employees I have never met such a people in my life. I purchased 81 k hybrid inverter system . When I went there to get my purchased . I did not get the right inverter . The y gave me one with 111 k . So the deference was more than 31 k with same price . Their employees were very rude . We be been asked to leave the place . Those people need a real anger management therapy.

If you want to pay up front to wait 4 days for a rusty, barely-usable part AND pay only slightly less than you would for a new part...Gundies is for you!

I received a wrong part and got refunded. BUT the communication is a nightmare, they really need to hire more people or to improve their system.

I will answer this regarding Gundies hours of business since Google doesnt list it.Their hours are Monday through Friday at 8am to 5pm.Ive damaged my 2001 Saturn SL2, the airbags deployed. I bought the used airbags from them, which $125 per bag is pretty cheap compared to getting new ones. Despite miscommunications, part of it is my error because I didnt give enough information. I realize that later on in discussions. To be honest, it comes down to who youre talking to. I wish I could remember who I spoke to. When you go in, on the right are the offices and the first cubicle on the left is the guy I ordered the bags from. I think his name was Dan. I was surprised that they didnt have the parts in their yard, but could order the parts inside. Later, I asked about resetting or buying an airbag module, which they arent able to do either for legal reasons. I plan to order the rest of the repair parts from them.

This place saved my ass!!!! These guys were beyond helpful as i have been on a roadtrip for 9000 miles and alternator went out they had my part quickly and did everythhing they could (i.e. let me use tools and change part in parking lot) IAN FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!
