I had to get last years taxes done, and they didnt even blink an eye. They even figured out a way to e-file them. Theyre a lot more reasonably priced than they used to be, also.

We made an appointment to fix our return 4 days ago. Got a conformation email and have been sitting at this location for 1/2 hour and no one is here. We have called the number on the door, left messages and have received no response. Not a way to do business.

First off filed my Iowa w2s as Nebraska after I told many times I live in Nebraska but work in Iowa. Now was told they’d be fix but not a reply or update anytime I try to find out. Also in an amend some how the federal part never went through ? Basically being left in the dark about my taxes & it’s becoming very frustrating.UPDATE STILL NOT BEING INFORMED NOR DO I HAVE MY RETURN. I have called emailed I’ve called the district manager nothing. I want the money I paid to have my taxes “done” back along with my return 8 will never filed with this company again. This is a disappointment because it’s been 9 months and the person who is supposed to be doing my taxes will not communicate and I’m tired of not knowing why she isn’t fixing the mistakes she made. I am LIVID!

The person Im working with, Dave Unger, is very friendly and very knowledgeable and help me get things done the right way. My taxes this year I usually complicated due to a death in my family and its knowledge is greatly appreciated. I have used H&R Block the past 2 tax seasons and they have been wonderful. The Tax Professional that helped me both years is Gretchen Dietzel. She is an amazing lady and she goes over everything and answers any questions I could possibly have. The other Tax Professionals were helpful too if Ms Gretchen wasnt around for any reason. They defiantly have a customer for life with me and I highly recommend them.

Vivian Lee did our taxes for many years until she retired and she always did a great job. Gretchen Dietzel started doing our taxes this year and my wife and I were extremely happy with the service. Gretchen made us feel very comfortable. She is very knowledgeable and went to great lengths to answer all of our questions and concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed working with her.

Everything was good except the fee. I did tax filing for Married jointly with 2 kids. I do not have any other tax docs, but just for 1 State and Federal you guys charged 200+USD The only reason I went for tax filling with H&R was ITINs are free with Tax fillings.

My tax handler was very professional, friendly and provided thorough tax advice to have a better tax season next year. Would recommend highly. Am having trouble logining into and verifying my emerald card account, but they did say to stop by or call if I have any trouble which I intend to and I expect nothing but warm greetings and fast speedy help with patience and understanding.

As usual, Dave was efficient, helpful regarding any questions we had, and extremely friendly and encouraging.

I am relieved my filing is complete.

I have done my taxes at H&R Block on Harlan Drive For two years with no issues but this year 2020 attempted to file my taxes with them they couldn’t input the numbers correctly into the computer the return amount was off by over $3000 and they were exceedingly unhelpful and would not explain a single bit of the process. Hopefully this review meets somebody in upper management and they quit hiring incompetent workers. It’s too late to get my business back but hopefully you won’t lose any more customers if you can fix your problems.

Made an appointment online. Showed up, and was greeted by a woman who said I dont do ITINs. I had never heard that term before and explained I had an appointment. With a quick google search i found that an ITIN was a person who resided in the U.S. but isnt a citizen. Ouch. Not trying to mess up someones job, (for a little misunderstanding) but Ill be going elsewhere.

I dropped my taxes off on April 15th. I didnt that they would be done on the 15th. Lack of planning on my part, cutting it down to the wire. I was told, as an after-thought as I turned to leave that they wouldnt be done that day. Fine. I expected later that week, maybe as long as early the next. After 3 weeks of hearing NOTHING, I called. Was told I would be contacted in a few day. Got an e-mail, fine. E-mail stated that they couldnt find information they needed due to receptionist not bothering to listen to what I needed and no request for information. Replied to the e-mail, no response. Waited a week, emailed again. Nothing. Finally got a call a MONTH after I dropped off my stuff. Finally went in and got everything done. Was told that mine werent a priority since I didnt owe money. Paid $600 (had 2 returns) for lack of communication and non-nonchalant attitude. I suspect that if I hadnt contacted them after 3 weeks, I would still be waiting to hear anything.

My Tax preparer, Phyliss Huber, is AWESOME. She has been doing my taxes for over a decade and I trust her knowledge and wisdom.

These people do not have a clue and do not treat women with respect. I work hard and long days so my wife, having more time, went to do our taxes and had an awful experience. Here are our stats, we have dual income no kids and make a combined income of 76k. we pay approximately 360 bi weekly in Federal Income Tax. This office told her we still owe $4,800 and then charged us $330 for the service. When my wife tried to question it they treated her like she didnt understand. Weve previously had good experiences at other H&R Block offices but we will certainly NEVER go here again.

Horrible service! I had to drive to their office 4 times to get my taxes done. They kept telling me wrong information. Especially bad service by Jennifer the receptionist, and Dave Unger. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Last year I was employed as a civilian in Afghanistan. This was my first time being in a war-zone as a civilian and not the military. Do to a change in government contract possible effects of the sequester, I was sent back state side prior to qualifying for tax-exampt status.I called H&R block, on Offutt Air Force Base, and requested an audience with someone familiar with ex-pats. The lady I met with there was familiar with ex-pats, but because I was sent back to the U.S. early, she was unfamiliar with how to file my taxes. She was honest, confident and considerate. She knew of another H&R employe that claimed to have more experience with ex-pats. She helped me schedule a meeting with him at the 1309 Harlan drive H&R block. We purposefully scheduled the meeting for a time two weeks later, in order for the IRS to release the declaration of war zones.Three weeks went by, he called in sick on the week we were supposed to meet. I met with Him and it seemed he didnt read the notes that had been provided for him, he didnt express any intelligence on ex-pats and he wanted to go ahead and do my taxes anyway.I asked him if the IRS had declared war zones yet, he wasnt sure. I asked him if he was familiar with ex-pats, he didnt sound confident in his yes.Im a single guy, no kids, and this guy was about to give a huge chunk of my money to the government.I immediately told him thank you, and left his office.If youre going to use H&R, I suggest going to Offutt. Otherwise, I suggest using a different company.
