We had to work with Stewart Title for closing of our house. They served both as our escrow as well as title, and were chosen by the seller. Initially we were skeptic given we had no say in choosing them, but we were pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and helping hand showed by their staff on their day of signing especially Carrie Doolittle. We insisted on reading the documents thoroughly before signing, and Carrie made sure we got an extra night to look through all the documents overnight so that we didnt feel pressured. She went through all the documents with us, wherever there were any concerns.There were sections in the final assessment which had some incorrect numbers- they were thorough in coordinating with our lender and making sure we didnt have to leave unsatisfied with any wrong numbers. To get the transaction rolling, we had paid the initial estimate but they made sure to refund us 61$ which we overpaid. All our payments were setup to go through the escrow accounts, and Stewart Title assisted us with this. There were definitely times when we had to nudge them for certain documents, and fixing some numbers and items but overall at the end they fixed all the rows and columns to our satisfaction, made sure everything happened in a timely fashion with a high level of professionalism and that we left their office content without a bad taste in our mouth.Things have gone smooth for us afterwards too, as the funds seem to have disbursed correctly to escrow, mortgage payments, sewer capacity, property tax is all correctly setup.

Stewart Title is the best. Nicole Johnson and her team were extremely helpful. Im not a Realestate professional and dont sell or purchase property on a regular basis. Nicole guided me thru the process with an amazing amount of patience. I would highly recommend them.
