The establishment itself is clean an pleasant, and the staff are both polite and obviously know what theyre doing. Best of all, their turn-around time is fantastic; I went to another local store first and was brushed off and told that my laptop would get fixed no sooner than three weeks, but the folks at NerdsToGo had it up and running and back in my hands the following day. It works perfectly, and I couldnt be happier.
I had an aging PC that wasnt performing well and brought it in to see about an upgrade. It was determined that my PC was just too old and weak for the programs I was running (Adobe Creative Cloud). They had a few refurbished CPUs that were available and showed me a powerhouse that they would upgrade with a new video card as well as some other nice elements. They then knocked it out of the park with a price I could not refuse. Ive been using it a lot since I purchased it some months ago and everything is running well. Id definitely recommend them to anyone looking for service and/or hardware.

I replaced an 11 year old laptop that ran my business to a new one. Ryan cloned my old laptop into my new one so I didnt have to learn anything new, just turn it on and go. I generally maintain and repair my own computers and devices but a missing key cap and rubber feet plus a mystery audio issue drove me to find someone who could save me the time and effort of locating the parts and making the repairs. From the moment I stepped through the door it was clear this was the right place. Gina greeted me and not only understood my needs, she immediately pulled in a tech who started a search for parts. In the end they fixed the rubber feet issue and pointed me to a 3rd-party source for the key cap that they offered to install for free. These are my go-to people for any computer related from now on.

The only issue I have is that they said they would call me to discuss options and they didnt; they only called after theyd already put my SSD into a refurbished computer which was more expensive than Id been quoted. But its a better quality machine. Overall, very happy with the service.

My laptop hinge needed replacing. Nerds to go was polite, professional, and MUCH less expensive than I had anticipated. Really everything you’re looking for in computer repairs: quality and value.
When I got there, they were kind and I have to point out that they never made me feel like a ditzy young woman who didnt know how my own laptop worked (even though I really didnt). They were able to diagnose the problem quickly and get it resolved. To be honest, Im not sure if what I paid was a good deal or not to have them diagnose and then transfer my data, but I did appreciate how they walked me through all my options and offered to help at each step of the way.
My internet routing and connection was having issues and Steven was able to quickly trouble-shoot, diagnose, and fix the issue(s) without trying to upsell me on equipment I didnt need. Brought in my Macbook to download a Mac OS install that had forced my computer into recovery mode. I was told by Apple support that Id likely have to erase all my data to be able to boot it out of recovery and log back in, which is the unfortunate circumstance that led me to Nerds To Go. After a very nice exchange over email with a comforting assurance that this is not an uncommon issue for people who like me neglect updates along with backups (!!!) I brought in my computer and was checked in by Steven who reassured me that not only could they boot me out of recovery and reinstall the Mac OS update, but clean up data taking up space on my hard-drive and then back-up my device on an external hard drive to ensure this doesnt happen again. All this was done in less 24-hours. Will 100% go back for more device help - although hopefully not anytime soon now that Ive learned my lesson about cleaning up old data and backing up to the cloud/hard drive.
I brought in my PC, which was working very slowly and freezing up all the time. They diagnosed it as a hard drive problem and installed a 500GB solid-state hard-drive in one of the ports. Now it purrs like a cat! Will definitely be bringing my computer back here for servicing again.

I went to this place last summer because I had some minor computer issues that I wasn’t sure how to fix. They treated me well and not like I’m a dumb person with a computer. I am also visually impaired and they did not blink when I walked through the door and they did not act awkwardly. I really appreciate that when I enter a new small business.
It took longer than originally specified by the staff and yet the overall effect of the work was positive. I dealt with 6 different staff members and spent an hour or more in the store. This did not diminish the thoughtful professionalism of the team! They did everything they could!
Our computer had lost its connection to WiFi. Our first step was going to the shop for service, but when that did not reveal the problem, we scheduled in-home service. Ian came and did a thorough diagnosis to determine the problem. He then ordered the necessary computer card, returned at a later date, and fixed the computer, which now works better than it has for a long while. He also helped us with our security setup and explained how he could help us remotely in the future if we had security problems. We were pleased with the service and also relieved to know we had available resources for our future computer needs.

My computer wasn’t charging and I spend a little too much for the inspection, then I found out it was the chargers problem. But customer service was great and they were fast with everything.
Solved issues with my computer. Only thing that needs improvement is punctuality. Had an 11am appointment but didnt receive contact from Nerds until 11:10am. Otherwise, tech was very professional and addressed all my concerns.

My iMac died and all my files were gone. The Genius Bar at Apple was unable to recover my files or fix my machine so I thought I would give it one more try by calling Nerds Togo in Bellevue. Brandon was straight forward and his communication endless, smart help were amazing. He was able to get my iMac back up and running and also recover every single file. He even went the extra mile and put my most important files that I told him about on a thumb drive for a double backup without me asking - just because he cared so much. They were all so nice and super smart. I will never take my devices anywhere else again. I hope we can all keep them in business I can’t begin to say enough. Really great guys over there. 10 stars!!

Had a good experience with Nerds To go in Bellevue. They really took the time to try and fix my sons Nintendo Switch. It was too far gone. They ended up just charging me for the diagnostic and referring me up to Nintendo who couldnt help me either. Sometimes its just time for a new one. Couldnt meet a nicer bunch of people. Would definitely use them again.

The price was not cheap, but Best Buy and Frys werent offering anything better either. They were professional and welcoming and I was not disappointed with my service.

GREAT! I had them install software I had tried to do but wasnt successful for class. My school was not helpful so they saved me.It was about $50-60 to drop it off and $140-150 to install sql developer and some updates he recommended. I left the computer there 2-3 days. 🙂Overall, very helpful and super friendly.
I removed my heatsink from the cpu to clean it out. While trying to put it back on the clips broke. I considered buying my own new heatsink/fan but eventually decided to take it to Nerds. The system worked fine except for the broken clips on the heatsink/fan. After discussing what needed to be done they gave me a price for the diagnostic (not needed IMO but its apparently their policy) and an estimate for the new heatsink then a rough timeframe.Turn-around was exceptionally quick; about 1 day. Very polite and professional service. Looking back I should have taken care of this issue myself. However if something comes up that I cant deal with myself Nerds will get my business.
Im an easy-going person, but have to leave a review here for people to make sure they will not have the same experience. They are friendly people but the customer service is very bad. Also be careful with the price they are going to charge you. I wanted to change my laptops keyword they said it will cost me $199, I was lucky to go somewhere else and with a great customer service they offered $90 for all expenses. Not recommending this place.

I was in an absolute panic regarding what was happening to my files due to my lack of knowledge with OneDrive. (My work IT was no help!). I called (nearly hyperventilating over some missing files) and spoke with Gina. She was very kind and concerned and then handed me over to EXTREMELY capable (and personable) Steven.They were both engaging, patient, professional and determined to help me get some answers to my pc challenges! I never once felt like I was being judged for what I did not know or for being a pain with all my concerns and questions. I truly felt supported and knew it was a point of pride and customer service to get me the answers I needed. Im sure not a OneDrive or pc expert but know a lot more about it and if I have any more computer question or needs - I am headed east to Nerds to Go.

Unable to duplicate the problem. Hard drive checked out. When I called back Gina told me to bring it in when it happens again and they would put it on the bench immediately. The problem repeated. Stephen couldnt diagnose it. Tried a total Windows 10 reboot. Still returned. Replacing motherboard or processor to expensive. No charge for all of this. Im getting their help in buying another laptop. Would use them again.
They do fantastic work and theyre very honest people! They dont try to sell you services you dont need. Im a repeat customer after they gave me a free diagnosis of my broken laptop a while ago. They told me that it probably wasnt worth fixing, since the parts needed to repair the laptop would have cost as much as the laptop itself... that earned a lot of trust from me. Nothing was stopping them from just recommending I pay them a bunch of money to fix something that wasnt worth fixing. This previous visit was for a simple laptop battery replacement and it went really smoothly. First I paid them for a new battery up front, and then I paid them for labor when it was finished. The pricing was really transparent, which I appreciate. I wont hesitate to use their services again!

I went In due to having fan trouble in my laptop and I was quoted a really large price $200 for what they said was a couple hours of labor even with me providing the parts. They told me it was due to my laptop motherboard being upside down. I called the day after I dropped it off around noon and they said they hadnt even looked at it yet even though I was told the job would be done by noon. The job itself took them less than an hour to do but I was still charged $200 for labor. The other shops I went into told me the repair should only take 30-45 minutes to perform. They also told me that my fans were around $90 each if they ordered the parts themselves but I looked at multiple places online and found the parts for $30 each and managed to get both fans for $50. They fixed the issue (Mostly) and Im grateful I got it back the next day, however I felt like the price was way too steep especially compared to other shops around town that gave me a smaller quote. I didnt go with the other shops because they said it would take longer than 2 days and I needed it back asap. NerdsToGO was the only place who said id have it back within 24 hours so I payed more. My laptop still has the same problem when Im gaming or editing just not as bad so in the end my problem wasnt completely fixed. I would still return here If the other shops were backed up but only as a last resort. Overall If they charged a better price and I wasnt still experiencing the issue even after the fan replacements I would give 5 stars. On a more positive note the staff was super friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcome.

The techs here found the problem, and were very supportive in communicating the proper solution. I brought my computer in to get it fixed. They took a look at it the next day. Although they couldnt repair it, I was told what repair my computer needed and I was given a referral to a company that does those repairs. I was pleasantly surprised that they didnt charge me anything to evaluate my computer. Fantastic place to take your computer. Very friendly staff too!
Went to get my PC fixed unfortunately it being so old was not worth it. Employees were super friendly and even tho they could not fix my PC they recovered the data and all in less then 2 days. I highly recommend the nerds! Also it was my first time ever taking my PC to get fixed but all worries were gone when meeting the staff who loved anime just like me! MY HERO ACADEMIA for the win! I took two computers to N2G that Best Buy said would take 2-3 weeks to fix (despite paying the Geek Squad an annual fee) and they fixed them within a couple of days. Best Buy said they needed to hold on to the computer while waiting for parts to come in whereas N2G was fine with me using my computers while waiting. N2G is flexible and comes up with out of the box solutions, and charged me a reasonable price. The Geek Squad seems like it is stuck with red tape. I canceled my Geek Squad membership and will take my computer problems to N2G from now on. Nerds 1, Geeks 0.

I was able to call in advance to get an idea of what it might be and the cost. They were very responsive to my COVID-19 concerns, I have a serious immune disease, so a medical aide brought it to them and then picked it up. (I would have never been able to pay for the in home service.) I was told that they would take protocols to keep things disinfected. They kept me updated as to where my computer was in the queue. Called with the diagnosis and was willing to take my payment over the phone. Yes, it seemed a little pricey, but I trust these guys and I dont think they would take advantage or price gouge. My computer has been acting a little weird since getting it back, but I figured that was because of the window reinstall. However, the left side of my screen keeps randomly popping up with all these different colored lines. Im guessing its code? I havent called to see if this could be a problem related to my repair because with the whole virus thing it was on the low end of the list. That and Im afraid something is wrong and Im going to have to scrape together more money for another repair. So that isnt their fault. They arent psychic. They do seem to be legit good guys.

The company diagnosed and ordered the correct parts to replace the broken screen on my new laptop. Once the part was in, they set up an appointment for me to drop it off for the repair. They had it ready for pick up within 2 hours of drop-off. Very professional and courteous staff. I would highly recommend their service to everyone who needs computer repairs.
Exactly what I was looking for: I have some hardware and software skills but I didnt have the skills to fix my laptop when it died. I brought it in, they got back to me in a few days with an explanation of what was wrong with my laptop and quote to fix it. Heck yeah - fix it. Then they fixed it.... The only negative has nothing to do with their skills - parking can be scarce and spaces are tight. There would be more parking if they didnt park all of the NerdsToGo vans in front of their store but I suspect they have to.
Did a good job returning my computer to a much more stable platform. I had been a little lazy about what I downloaded and was getting freeze-ups and black screens of text. Now it is back to doing what it should. Fast turnaround, too.

I went in because I had a computer that the basic troubleshooting steps couldnt fix from a family member. Didnt have time to look at it myself so I called them up. Brought it in and they were superful helpful. They got it up and running after doing some tests and were able to resolve my issue and see what the problem was without having to work on it. They informed me of the issue and didnt charge because the were able to resolve it during initial testing. Really fast turn around and I would recommend anyone to go see them coming from someone who also managed a repair service center for computers and laptops.
