Hired UHS for air duct and dryer vent clean. The team was super responsive, communicative and came out on short notice. However the quality and thoroughness of work was disappointing. The underside of most of vent covers had layer of dust on them (not sure if cleaning vent covers was something they did but other companies Ive hired in the past always did) and the technician completely misidentified the dryer vent exhaust. After locating the actual exhaust myself I had to have the technician come back and clean the dryer vent. After the second visit I inspected the dryer vent intake (behind the dryer) and there was still balls of lint in the duct. Disappointing since I explicitly asked the tech if he was able to clean the intake side, which he said yes to, but clearly didnt (or did a poor job of it). They offered to come back out a third time but at this point Ive lost confidence in their work.My experience has to be an anomaly since UHS appears to have a lot of satisfied customers and my interaction with them was positive. However, the experience has me a little sour about the cost vs quality of work.

This is good company to work with. Came in as scheduled, finished job and full clean-up in one day. Two specialist worked all day long non-stop. Good quality work. I would hire them again if I will need chimney repair

Gustav and his crew of two (Eddie and Antonio) did a great job replacing my chimney. They were polite, came on time and were understanding when I didnt get back to them right away. Would hire them again.

Terrible service. We requested a chimney cleaning and ended up needing $3000 in repairs. Upon completion, our main issue that caused us to seek help in the first place was worse (constant burnt smell in room). Attempts to contact United went unanswered. We are now months post work and still have the same issues.

Jesse and Gustavo from the Bellevue location were excellent. They were so nice and professional and walked me through the process of the chemical clean. My chimney was so thick with soot and they did an excellent job and it it did not take long at all. They were in and out of here within half hour. I would totally recommend United Home Services and ask for Jesse and Gustavo. I will definitely use them again for my yearly schedule cleaning.

Very impressed with Gustav. I was looking for an estimate to have chimney repaired but I liked the service and professionalism so much I had the work done right then.

I used home advisor to list my requirements and United Home Services responded immediately, set up an appointment for 8AM and at 8:01 they were knocking on my door. Gustavo and Jessy inspected my fireplace, gave me a quote and complete explanation of the repairs that needed to be done. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to have the parts fabricated and 2 1/2 weeks later Jessy and Gustavo were again right on time and repaired my chimney. They were courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and just a couple of really nice guys. They were very respectful of our house and furnishings, covered everything inside around the fireplace with tarps, wore face masks the entire time. Great experience and great company to work with.

I’ve never had a service experience as good as this. I was able to get an appointment sooner than expected, the team did a thorough inspection and provided a few options to choose from for the repair. The rebuild was quick and expertly done. The team went above and beyond teaching us about the chimney and researching our wood stove requirements. A++

We had never used our fireplace so I called United Home Services for inspection. Jessy came out and promptly found a few problems (cap was cemented to crown, crown cracked, missing flue tiles). He came back the next week and got it fixed up quickly. Looks great and he took time to explain the whole process and what to do to maintain. Will definitely be calling back for annual inspection. This is the second year weve used United Home Services to clean our wood-stove chimneys, and well be sure to use them again next year. They scheduled us quickly, arrived promptly (in fact called to ask if we wanted them to come earlier, which we did), used masks and drop cloths, and were both friendly and professional.Were very pleased, and so are our chimneys.Highly recommended.

While cleaning the exterior myself a few chunks or mortar crumbled leaving two big holes all the way through. The Home Services Tech came out to inspect and quote for repairs and finish the cleaning. After inspecting he said we didnt need anything other than the repair and a recommended water proofing service. He performed what he called a very simple repair in minutes and just asked that if we decide to do the water proofing service that we use them. What a great experience and honesty by the Tech. We will use them for sure before winter hits.

Very disappointed. After they left, our woodstove smoked worse and upon opening the door, flames shot out. My husband called the company with no response to his voicemail still after 2 days. Upon going up on the roof and taking the cap off, the entire pipe was clogged along with the screen. They do not check the top of the pipe, but only go up from the stove. Their brushes didnt even go to the top of the pipe, so just packed all the soot to the top. Will not be using them again.

Sean (sorry if I misspelled it) was on time....very respectful....mask on, etc. He did a thorough cleaning of our chimney and told us about an issue with our chimney which we will have fixed. I have never had anyone show us before and after pictures of our chimney before when they cleaned it and I was super impressed!! Jessy and Gustavo were incredibly professional, friendly, efficient, and wore their masks at all times. They located a missing brick inside of our fireplace during chimney inspection that would have caused a house fire (we would never have noticed). They were able to get us a new quote within minutes and repair everything that day. We can’t thank them enough for keeping our family and our house safe!

The techs to clean our chimney were very professional courteous. They were quick and did not leave behind a mess. I was emailed photos after the service; however, one photo was very blurry and it was difficult to understand which one was the before and after. After talking to Mike, he promptly came out the next day and retook photos to show me all the way up through the chimney and walked me through each photo and what to look for. I was very appreciative for the follow-up and customer service!

Work started well but ended really bad. The quote process was fine. We paid $4500 for the job. Brand new chimney liner, waterproofing 2 chimneys, crown seal. The outdoors work was done well. The indoor one not so much. Our stove wood chimney wasnt put back properly and was damaged. It is not usable right now. I called 3 or 4 times. They came once and noticed the damaged and that proper chimney sealant was missing. The person claimed he didnt have the right sealant with him and needed to order it. Well, they never came back. I called several times and left messages but I was ignored and my chimney is still not functional and still damaged.

I used these guys recently and they tried to up sell me. They quoted $189 for entire house and when they got here, they clean only one vent and they told me I have to pay $35 each vent for cleaning. That is not what they told me and on their ADS are very deceiving. So stop playing people. They were here for 20 minutes tops, maybe 10 minutes of cleaning. Don’t even bother.

They were prompt to reply and schedule, and professional and respectful of COVID concerns and of property when they came out (they arrived early, even!). Did a fantastic job cleaning out the wood fire chimney -- a TON of gunk was cleaned out, but they kept their work and the house pristine during the process. I was impressed. Also had them do inspection on two chimneys. Some mortar repair was needed but there wasnt a sense of pressure to sell me the service -- photos of and explanations were provided. When we had the work done, more photos were presented to show the final product, which was visually unobstrusive and subtle, and done very cleanly.Ive scheduled them to return for different service next week.

My wife had called to get our fireplace looked at and possibly have it cleaned. We dont generally use the fireplace but she wanted to make sure if we did, that it was OK to use. The technician (Gustavo) and his partner came in an assessed the work that needed to be done then proceeded to give me their evaluation. The cleaning of the (2) fireplaces was reasonable, however, the lower level fireplace they told me needed a deep cleaning and it would be an extra $225 + $125 ($350) plus $125 for the upstairs fireplace. He was going to show me pictures of how dangerous the downstairs fireplace could be because we had a wood burning stove in it. (He never showed me any pictures.) He went on to tell me how much more work it would be and so I agreed to have the work done. In a matter of 20 minutes both men were done at the same time both upstairs and downstairs and charged me a total of $523. I called the owner of United Home Services and he was very casual about the whole incident and because I was aghast at the cost for 20 minutes of work he said he would send one of his managers out to see if the cost was justified. That never happened (no one showed up). I dont recommend this company because they are DISHONEST

Too Easy. I called them on a Wednesday afternoon and they were able to get me in first thing the next day. They gave me a window between 8-11 and were there by 9 finished by 9:30. The two man team were super professional. Since this was during Covid-19 the team showed up both wearing masks. They also provided before and after photos. Great Service.

These are the pros. They were really fast to come out to clean our chimney and airducts. The scheduling was a breeze and they showed up on time. We just moved in in 1960s house and seems like the chimney was never serviced properly. They finished the job in timely manner and our chimneys are sparkling clean free from cracks and waterproofed from the outside! They were also awesome in communicating about pricing and project details. Shaun had great tips on how to better use the chimney and also gave great advice about keeping the airducts clean. Will be definitely hiring them again
