This was snugged nicely with a rubber band to a package my wife received in the mail. Not sure what warranted this from a postal worker but it holds up to the rest of the reviews Im seeing for the Belgrade post office. Same sharpie that was used to write our condo number with.

ZERO STARS!!!! In the last couple of weeks I’ve had the mailman mark my package as delivered and it was not there, twice. The first time it was my Ring camera. Post office said they showed his GPS at our house at the time he marked it as delivered so it must have been stolen etc etc…filed a claim with Amazon, and over a week later the mailman decided to finally leave the original package. Then on Friday, same thing…says he delivered it, but it wasn’t. This time I have video to show he never came to my door like he said he did. Called post office Friday and they said they would call him. Still nothing. I’m so beyond frustrated!UPDATE: I finally got ahold of someone at the post office who was not exactly polite, and was told that the mail person delivered it to the wrong house, that person took it and now they are having a hard time getting it back from whoever lives wherever she decided to leave it. I have filed a formal complaint with the Post Office and filed with the Belgrade Police and Amazon.UPDATE #2: The postmaster Trisha is awful to work with and hung up on me twice after I told her I had filed a police report and will be moving it to theft charges if I dont get my package today. She said that she was sure that they didnt mean to keep it. So, I told her that it was her carrier being an idiot for having done this TWICE IN A ROW and told her that I will be bringing the police down there so they can recover my package if she wont do it, and she said Please do so I can tell them youre harassing a federal employee by calling them names. And then hung up on me. I called back and said I was not harassing, I was stating the facts that the carrier was being an idiot for having done this more than once and she hung up on me again. Im filing a complaint with the USPS but this needs to be dealt with. I am far from being the only one to have issues with Trisha Erb Armstrong!!!

ABSOLUTELY WORST POST OFFICE!.They are so rude here its ridiculous. Mis deliver my mail on a weekly basis. Have found my packages at houses down the road. Dont dare an call an ask a question and they are extremely snippy. Thats even if you can get them to pick up the phone. Stuart needs to find a new job I have NEVER met someone so rude to customers. I will be using UPS or FEDEX from now on as at least I know my things will be delivered. Wish they would look at all these bad reviews and fix their customer service. Very sad for us Belgrade folks to deal with this

Rude employees who make you feel awful for just asking questions. My mail has been at the post office for over three weeks. I went in to get my packages and the lady said there was a giant pile of mail but it would have to wait until it was delivered, which hadnt been done for weeks so I was obviously there to get my mail. There was also packages with my name that had been missing one letter so she refused to give me my packages. I tried explaining that my name can be spelt two different ways, legally. She still refused. I absolutely cannot stand the employees and how they treat others and I try to avoid going at all costs. Except when my mail isnt delivered!

I have lived in my current Belgrade home for 6 years. For the first 5 years it was stellar! Now with our new gal who I have filed complaints about (which I have never done in 50 years!) has lost nearly 30 pieces of our mail, that may be an understatement and I’m talking business mail and checks! I get other peoples mail DAILY, so it is safe to say it’s her not being followed up on! Today I received 3 different tax docs that belong to two neighbors!!!! She said my Amazon order was delivered to my box, like hell it was! I filed a complaint with Amazon and they are going to address it and send me new items. How sad that Amazon has to replace the items she lost!!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as you don’t end up with the rude man the staff is very friendly and helpful. This is the only reason it gets more than an one star review. This post office does not know how to fallow their own information cards! There is a reason I want my packages to remain at the post office and I know it was marked on the Where do you want your packages left card! I even talked to the manager about this issue and she even acknowledged the issue, said it was their fault and that they would fix it. Yet I still have packages being delivered to the incorrect spot! They don’t seem to know about holds too. I asked for my mail to be put on hold because I would be gone and they can’t fallow the instructions for where to put my packages. They did not hold my mail! I’m lucky nothing has been stolen or ruined yet!

I have never written a review before, and honestly don’t even think businesses look at their reviews. But I have never had worse customer service than at the USPS in Belgrade (and I’m a very friendly person). I was yelled at for being 10 minutes early to my passport appointment (which they advise you to do on the website) and then was told that my photo was not going to work (I had it done at CVS Pharmacy like everyone else) but that they were going to submit it anyways because they didn’t have time for me to get another photo taken. I was basically shooed out the door in the end, and my appointment only lasted 5 minutes. Extremely unhelpful. I understand doing that to rude customers, but not people who are kind and just need basic help. It’s not that hard. 10/10 would go to the one in Bozeman instead.

Why won’t your carriers use the doorbell or knock when leaving a package at the door?ETA- is your driver handicapped or lazy?

Here’s the lynchpin in all of this, I’m a former RCA myself of 6 years and we were held at the highest standard of service, so coming from a postal employees perspective this is the worst service I’ve ever seen!!!! If I could give this office zero stars I would.We have the absolute worst mail carrier I’ve ever seen. We constantly get other people’s mail and previous residents. I even put a bright colored note inside the box lid of who should get mail there (because that helped me when I delivered) and they still screw up. It’s very obvious they don’t pay attention. They mis delivered a package on Monday and when I went in there the extremely rude guy at the end of the counter said he would “have his boss look into it and call me” ... three days later I called back after not hearing anything and the carrier nor the boss hadn’t got the message. They tracked it using lat/long and admittedly mis delivered it and the best they can do is give the wrong recipient a letter requesting it back. And let’s hope it hasn’t been opened because it’s health related items which can’t be used if someone had handled it. Mistakes happen, but this often?

Love this PO. The postal clerks are not only friendly, they go out of their way to help you. I have called to have packages put in a locker, (as even since mask mandate there are people that come in without) and clerks are very gracious. Many thanks for your great service!!!!

Went into the Post office today, big mistake! Overwhelmed and very rude counter person. Now I realize where the term Going Postal comes from. Ive encountered nicer employees at the D.M.V.

Apparently we are rural delivery and now get delivery every other day. Good thing I took my IRS stuff directly to the post office in Bozeman today. If I need something postmarked on the same day I am out of luck

This is by far the rudest post office I’ve ever experienced. They have lost a PS5 that I ordered and also every year they lose a Christmas gift that came from family. The manager is so rude and disrespectful.

Excellent service. I was on a remote ranch and unable to receive packages and I found the staff here incredibly helpful in communicating with me and making sure my packages were put aside for pick up at the post office.

The employees do their job well at the Belgrade post office. They are working hard whenever I’m there which is multiple times a week mailing packages for my online business. Out of the 50 I’ve mailed, 50 have shown up on time (within 2-3 business days) with no complaints from the local recipients and the non local recipients. Long story short, thank you Belgrade Post Office for all that you do for me personally and for all that you do for the community. I’m so sorry for all of the mean comments and reviews that you receive. Clearly some individuals have nothing better to do then to go online and write negative things. Yes, I’m sure some of the complaints are warranted but some of the comments left here are just plain rude.To all of the people who have left silly, unnecessary, rude comments on here: I’m astounded by all of the hate in the existing comments. Government work is the epitome of hard. They deal with our BS all day long and you all expect them to be flawless. I see all of the comments about Stuart also. Guess what? He is mentally delayed. So lay off! I’m happy he has a job that works for him. If your day is ruined by one interaction that didn’t live up to your standard at the post office, you clearly need to grow up and get over yourself. Post office employees exist to mail letters and packages, not to stroke egos.I realize that this review will make little to no difference but I felt someone needed to comment on the amount of negativity and hate that exists in this review section.

Update, after much confusion and about an hour at the office itself they were able to find a package that was reported as delivered, but was actually in their building. The staff was much more helpful and user friendly than before. Not perfect but their customer service is improving.Would give zero stars if it was an option. Mail carrier throws packages in the snow bank alongside my drive way instead of getting out. Routinely delivers mail to the wrong house. Falsefies tracking information when theyre too lazy to get out of their vehicle, stating delivery attempted. If there was an option to pay them to give my mail to a real carrier like UPS I would.

The worst post office I have ever dealt with.It took over a month to get a replacement key to my house mailbox, the postmaster trisha is incompetent and ignored my 4 times going in person to the post office to get my key.The only way to improve this place is to change the management. I suggest you file a complaint against the post master Trisha.

Always helpful, quick service. The staff is knowledgeable be it for just buying stamps or posting international packages. I see people are rating the office poorly for limited delivery during the ridiculous winters in the area...we got a heck of a lot of snow this winter this year in outer Belgrade and we only missed delivery for about four days. Not worth fussing over people!

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.... well except for the Belgrade Post office, whose motto ought to be, if I have to get out of my vehicle, well thats a bridge to far.With insane snow and plow trucks building up the snow around peoples mailboxes, I understand the need to remove snow from the area. However, with just how much snowfall there has been, theres not a whole lot of places to put it. My mailbox is reachable on foot, but the couriers here are so extremely lazy they cannot be bothered.Whats even worse is if there are elderly people who live in the area, who are physically unable to remove snow, who cant receive their medications because the post office here in Belgrade is afraid of the cold and snow.Not to mention the many times in which this post office (a problem I have never experienced consistently anywhere else) constantly gives you the wrong mail. I guess reading an address is pretty hard or something.This post office also seems unable to get new addresses into their system. It took more than a month to get our address into whatever system they use and to start recieving mail.All in all this is by far the absolute worse post office I ever had the displeasure of dealing with.Do your jobs!

Great employees at Belgrade Post Office. Have had wonderful customer service sorting out package delivery issues, getting passports and mailing packages. Best experience I’ve had at any post office.

The clerk, Stuart, at your main Belgrade location is VERY rude. He has ZERO customer service skills and is always short and mean while answering even basic questions. When I walked in and told him I had someone elses mail in my box he became visibly agitated and red in the face and proceeded to throw the mail behind him onto the floor. On a different occasion I pulled up into the parking lot and he walked out on the sidewalk staring at all the cars stating Im gonna call the police on the cars parked in handicapped parking. Customer service is not his forte and maybe he should be placed in the back sorting mail, that seems to be more his speed/ability anyways. HE NEEDS CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING ASAP... IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB...FIND SOMETHING ELSE...HES REPRESENTING YOUR COMPANY WHILE IN UNIFORM!!!!

Rude and unprofessional employees at the office. This location has literally lost more of my packages than they have delivered.... strongly recommend using other actually reliable carrier services. Multiple people in front of me in line also had vanishing packages..... maybe an internal thief.

My old mail carrier was fantastic and I would give him five stars the new mail carrier is LAZY! She wants me to shovel packed ice on the road 10 feet on either side of my mail box. I did chip a path to the box. And I made a path to my house but she refuseS to get out of her car. She says it is a hazard. Seriously? She isnt delivering on a remotely busy street. It isnt my job to plow the street The city wont plow because they are trying to prevent flooding in areas and they are in fear of plowing too close because of mailbox damage. My old carrier would have not only delivered to my mailbox but if he had to would have brought it to my door everyday. Time to get rid of USPS?

If you need anything outside of normal mail delivery, it wont get done until you get angry. The staff is nice enough and they have the right words but they dont back up the words with action to fix your problem. 4 trips to the post office, 2 afternoons sitting around waiting, key left with the post office along with name, address, and phone number and still nothing. Meanwhile, I have packages that, according to the tracking info, were left sitting in the mail box 6 days ago that i still cant access. The initial vandalism wasnt their fault, but their fix locked me out of my own mail box for over a week now. How long do I have to wait for them to fix their fix before I can break into my own mailbox?

Our packages are consistently mis delivered, I even got a neighbors medication at least twice. We are constantly bringing each others mail to one another in my neighborhood. If you are shipping something expensive get a signature requirement or use UPS or FEDEX. Unless you have decent neighbors who will bring you your mail.

I literally only came here to check and see if anyone else had anything to say about Staurt, the front counter gentleman who shouldnt under any circumstances be working in customer service. Most of the people here at this location are kind, courteous, and good at their job. Stuart needs to be moved to a different position, he makes simple trips to the post office something to avoid. Ive tried being kind to him, smiling, asking how his day is, and he is so miserable in response that I have resorted to prepaying everything I can just to avoid dealing with him. It must be a very sad life he lives to be that angry all the time. Someone needs to tell the dude to lighten up and cheer up a bit, or at least stop acting like every single person he serves is the bane of his entire existence. We arent all trying to make your day worse, Stuart!

As a new business, all I can say is that so far our mail has been in the box each day. Our carrier seems to be pretty decent.

The employees are usually friendly, it can be quite a wait if you go in during busy hours. However, some of the postal employees who deliver the mail are extremely lazy. For the last 2 years, I have gotten mail weeks late because they said my mailbox was blocked because the garbage man left the can too close.I mean come on. If the only walking you will do is to and from your vehicle once a day, consider a desk job.

Get on the ball Postal Employees! New subdivisions go up all the time. Educate yourselves on them instead of returning mail for no such address!!!

Convenient location and usually not a big line of people.

Though the staff is nice this post office has been incredibly frustrating - getting a key for my mailbox required a lease, which is not posted anywhere, then when they gave me my key it does not open ANY boxes in the neighborhood. Ive wasted so many hours off work.

Do not follow Federal laws....and so Belgrade Police cannot enforce the law? Zoning....Parking.... Americans with Disability Act....a sign? Cannot call...file a complaint...

Never had a problem with a post office until here. I constantly have to find out where my packages are. Ive received broken items but sorry there was no insurance. My key is currently jammed in a parcel lock and there is no way to get my package until atleast Monday Im sure. They took it from billings to butte yesterday and then back to Belgrade today. (Seems like a wasted trip to me)

Rude when asking questions on the phone.. Poor customer service! I know this job is difficult but being rude and rushed doesnt help anyones experience. A smile on the phone and a kind word goes along way...I have worked phone customer service for many years. This location is painful to call.

I know that this is just the post office but I went here twice in one week because I had to mail 2 different things. They are sooo rude and I got a different person each time.

VERY RUDE people at the post office! I went to mail 5 packages today (Monday Morning 8:40am) and then checked my PO Box (which was checked and emptied 3 days ago on Friday afternoon) and it was locked. The lady told me (very rudely) that it was too full and if it happens again I would be charged $1,200! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! 3/4 of the mail in the box is political ads and junk mail! I will start sending packages with Fed-Ex or UPS now. Customer Service SUCKS at the post office!

If I need to do anything at a Post Office in the valley, I come here if I have the time. Service is effective and efficient, and the line, if there even is one, always moves swiftly.

Those ladies in there are awesome. They even know us on a first name bases.

Worst post office I have ever used. They have not sent my mail to my address for nearly a month. Every time I call and inquire I am told that my mail is at the post office and they promise that it will come the next day. It STILL has not come. Very unprofessional and lazy.

Package is now 2 days late, paid for 2 day shipping. It should be first priority to be delivered today since it was not delivered on its “guaranteed delivery date” USPS in Belgrade has had the package in transit since yesterday.I just don’t get it. There is always a problem with the Belgrade USPS. Always.

Worst Post office ever. The fact that the ladies are rude, dont want to help you, and charge, CHARGE for tape when all you need is a little piece is rediculous. This post office is terrible! go to the one in the IGA instead. much more helpful and way better service.

Worst Post Office Ive ever dealt with. Wont deliver mail unless mailbox is clear of snow for 15 feet, constantly deliver our packages to the wrong address, & frequently give us other peoples mail.
