Fantastic experience. Went in before my wedding to trim up my beard and got fantastic service. Chris trimmed up my neckline and ears and did a full hot shave for me instead of a basic beard trim. Anytime I need to treat myself to some man pampering I am going to come here!

Ive been to a fair number of barbershops in my short life, but Northgate has become my favorite. The staff are friendly and very professional - theyll ask you how life goes, but wont talk your ear off and I like that. The cuts I got were better than any Id had in a very long time and the guys at Northgate finish off every cut with a bit of hot shaving cream and a straight razor to clean up the edges. That alone would be worth the cost per cut, in my opinion. All of these little details add up to a most pleasant haircut that - if you ask me - far outclasses its price.I came to the Bozeman/Belgrade area for college. Unfortunately, it didnt work out and I wont be returning to the area. Perhaps the one and only thing I will miss from there is the quick, pleasant, and professional cuts I got at Northgate Barber Shop. They are well worth visiting if youre a gentleman in need of a trim. Come to think of it, I think Ill make the three-hour trip to Belgrade next time I need a cut. Its just that good.

After taking my son to great clips and having a terrible experience there as well as an awful cut for my son a few weeks later we took him here. I was so pleased with not only the excellent job they did on my sons cut but also their efforts to fit us in their schedule and their wonderful welcoming attitudes and atmosphere. They made my son so comfortable and he is usually nervous for haircuts so it was really appreciated!

The guys that work at Northgate are professional, quick, and have good prices. Chris was very personable, had a great sense of humor, and asked a lot of questions about how I would like my hair cut to ensure he was doing it how Id like it. I will definitely return!

This place is a great place to not only get a cut but also a high quality shave. The guys are incredibly friendly and professional. As a member of the military its good to be able to get a good cut that looks nice, not just a high and tight, while swapping stories of the Good ol days. I will definitely be back as a loyal customer.

I come here all the way from emigrant. Always talk to a real person on the phone and setting up an appointment takes less than 30 seconds. Conversation is always great here and these guys know what theyre doing.

Not bad at all for wait time, but that was the worst haircut I have ever been given. The fade was barely done, leaving patches of uncut hair all along the sides. Although it’s not common for lineups in this state apparently, as a barbershop you think they’d know how to, instead of just cutting random lines all over my forehead. I do not suggest go to this shop if you’re looking for anything other than a shaved head or face. Good luck 👍🏻

My boyfriend just received a haircut from here and it was very poorly done. There is no fade just a hard line, and the hair that is left is choppy and unevenly cut. I tried to get him to go back in, but at this point I dont think it can be fixed. Extremely disappointed.

This may seem strange, but these guys were sweet and very much understood why I asked for a barber instead of a hair dresser. I will definitely go back when I need a fade or a trim.

I used to get haircuts here in the 1980s. Customer service is still great. Got a haircut plus a finish with a razor and shaving cream, and all for the price you would pay at a discount haircutter. Highly recommended.
