We were traveling in our class A motorhome to stay in Bozeman for the week. When we unhooked our tow noticed we had a transmission fluid leakon a Saturday. They were open on Saturday!!!! And they worked us in for Tuesday. Arrived for our appointment and they immediately started working on our issue. Since this is our home they were super considerate and helped us stay comfortable while they worked on the issue. Got us on the road again in about 2 hours (even tho they needed to order parts). Super happy with the mechanics, office staff and drivers. Thank you so much for helping us out!!!!

The service from the technicians is good. And, they dont warranty there work...When you leave it cost to get what should be warranty work done!!!But, they want to charge a 3% fee for using a credit card. They dont take checks. Luckily I bank with Discover Bank (The same as Discover IT credit cards) which will allow me to withdraw from ATMs up to $10k/day (You have to call and speak to a special department to get this increase, its only good until midnight of the day you call...You have to call each day to request the limit increase...I assume this is EST time). Also there are several ATM networks that dont charge a fee for Discover Bank customers to use them. Now, I had to go to a couple ATM/Banks to get the money that I needed. Some ATM networks have daily limits below Discover Banks limits.In an emergency this place does get you in/out quickly compared to other places.

I am working for a company based out of north Idaho, and our truck ended up having issues with our DEF system, and the truck failed to take us over 5 miles an hour. I called these guys on a Sunday and I thought the prices were kinda high. They are not 24 hour emergency, or open on sundays. Anyways I still continued to use them because we were in an emergency and Todd came out promptly. He did a check and just cleared our codes, and proceeded to run a 2 hour force park regen. The truck was good!…. For 30 miles. Todd let us know before we left all the things we needed to replace in the truck. But he didn’t help us out with any of those and he proceeded to chain smoke for the few hours he was there. So anyways. We are stuck in Powell, Wyoming, a population of 6000, with no one to help us now. So all in all. $1000 dollars for a guy to come out and clear the codes and do a force park regen. Now when trying to see what we can do. The managers are not getting back to me, and forwarding my calls. Not a good time. Thank you

Hit our hitch and bent it up in Sheridan. These folks had us in and out super quick with a working hitch. They were friendly, fast, and nominal prices. Thanks again!!

ATTENTION TRUCKERS..$650 for a oil change and Grease job on rig...2.5 hrs Labor? Must took lunch when working on my unit...then they charge 3%on total bill because I used a card to pay..just moved here figure Id give mom and pop a chance..none of my trucks will be back... Freightliner done the street charges 420 for same service..got me once

Traveling thru town when we developed transmission problems and the check engine light came on. We are in an RV and had difficulty finding someone who would work on it. Della went out of her way offering multiple solutions on getting the rig to the shop. Once there she and the company owner helped us out. They were knowledgeable and very friendly.

I had nothing but stellar service from all employees I had contact with from the tow truck driver to the ladies at the service counter. All were very friendly and helpful with all my questions and requests. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants that small town comfort that MCM provides.

Hubby and I were on our way back to Helena and the brakes on the trailer froze up causing a double blow out. Started limping to Manhattan and on the way called MCM. They were just closing and she said bring it in. Got there in 20 minutes, they were there waiting for us and in 30 minutes had us back on the road. Extremely wonderful amazing people. 100% would recommend to anyone. They have a nice lounge area for you to wait in and a floor for all your chrome needs that’s pretty cool. Thank you guys again for being there to help us out.

My husband and I are traveling in our motor home in Montana, leaving for a 350-mile daylong drive when suddenly our engine began to seriously overheat. We called several places that near Bozeman which repair deisel engines, but only MCM recognized our situation as an emergency and, despite the shop being slammed was willing make room to at least take a look at our problem. A technician immediately suggested the problem sounded like low coolant and accompanied my husband to take a quick look. That was the problem! After buying a few gallons of coolant and pouring them in, our problem was solved snd we were in out way. Thank you, MSM! Not only did they solve our problem, their people were personable, understanding and kind.As icing on the cake, I had carelessly removed my rings to clean my hands after my husband and I had cooperated getting the coolant in the container. Long story short, distracted I left my rings on a post snd drive away! When I missed the rings the next day I called MCM, explained what had happened, the person who answered the phone immediately went outside, found my rings, called me back, and mailed my rings to me at our next RV park. Came in with no notice with a substantial leak on my steer tire. Had it patched and ready in about an hour. The two ladies, their names escape me, working the service desk went above and beyond to help with all unexpected issues including Comdatas efficient customer service. All of my staff interactions were pleasant and quite friendly, especially the four legged ones. Even the coffee was fresh and what I needed. Thank you again, and if I have any issues, I can only hope its not too far from these folks.

I went to McM for general 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD 100k maintenance, but also and most importantly for the installation of a solar panel system for my 32ft WhiteHawk RV trailer.I was generally pleased with the GMC Sierra maintenance and what was changed.But the solar panel installation took far too long was not done according to my specific instructions.I had instructed that the provided cutoff switch be installed inside of the trailer between the solar panel and its controller to prevent boiling the battery. I had pointed to where on the interior wall the cutoff switch needed to go, and I had pointed to the place on the provided schematic that the cutoff switch needed to be installed as well. Finally I had instructed that I be notified if there were any problems in carrying out my wishes.Instead of doing what I had instructed, the cutoff switch was installed at an exterior location on the hitch between the solar controller and the battery, and I wasn’t notified beforehand of the charges to my instructions.The whole solar panel installation should have taken less than four hours but I was billed for over $1,500! And when I request that the incorrectly installed switch be removed, Ty got quite unprofessional and surly with me and said that no more work on my trailer would be done.I’m a retired electrical engineer and have done this precise circuit modification myself on a camper solar panel system to prevent solar panel battery over-charging. I specifically did not want to have the controller to be disconnected from the battery because its a great battery monitor even when the solar panel is disconnected. And I was led to believe that Ty understood my instructions beforehand, otherwise I would have chosen someone else who could competently do the job.I had been wanting to direct other RV business to McM but with the way that McM took so long to do a simple job and not do it correctly, I would advise any RV owners to look elsewhere for service. Customers do not need to be treated the way that Ty has done so.

Awesome customer service ! Della is the best. MCM did exactly what they said they would do. They came and did a mobile repair and got the job done without any messing around. Excellent cluster replacement; which fixed the always on engine light, the dead gear selection light and the broken gas gauge.

Bad experience with this guys!!! Avoid if you can ! High chargers! To change my own spare tire they charge me 125 $ per hour and took 1 hour 45 minutes! 230$ total! This is crazy! They don’t accept card from me only cash to avoid the dispute! My suggestion is if your bill is overpriced contact your bank! Safe travels! Avoid avoid avoid!

Called about a clutch adjustment charged me three hours to drive from Bozeman to three forks and do a clutch adjustment totaling $913 highway robbery they like to see you in a bind and take total advantage wow

I felt compelled to write a review on Jimmy and the MCM Truck Repair employees. Broke down in Bozeman and after being referred to MCM Truck Repair from a friend of Jimmys we decided to have it towed there. They took us right in and Jimmy went to work. We had serious electrical problems and I must say Jimmy was all his friend told me he was. He must be a electrical genius to fix the mess I have. He will be there early tomorrow to finish working on truck so we can continue on our journey. The office staff were very professional and made me feel right at home, the lounge had big leather sofas and big screen TV and was very inviting, comfortable, and accommodating. The wait area outside was absolutely beautiful with the tables, plants and chairs everywhere. Thank you so much for all the help and personal attention for a customer who feels more like a friend. Great service in and out no problem

I waited 3 days to post a review, thought i might have a clearer head about my experience with the folks at MCM, truck had head replaced, truck broke Thursday evening, took until following Thursday to replace it, was overcharged by 30%, mechanic Scott did a fine job, but the service counter gals turned quite rude after I displayed my displeasure with the high price of repair, when youre told the parts are 7300, you dont expect it will be over 8k to install, especially with a shop fee for miscellaneous 1%, charge, my experience was less than 3 stars, i give a 3 because its their average, i didnt want to slam them because they have room to improve, like i said shop side was good, business side was less than fair, be careful

Big shop, friendly, nice establishment. They worked on our vehicle right away, had us in and out in several hours. If you have a dog they ask you not to bring it around because they have dogs that wander the shop and lot, so we had to wait off the property (on vacation with our pets and needed our rv worked on) but they were kind and it wasnt too bad. Shop is $125/hr for labor.

Replaced turbo but didnt run right. Took it to Floyds freightliner. They said turbo wasnt connected. I called mcm and they wouldnt take responsibility for the faulty installation.

Huge facility, fast service, friendly staff, Robin was very nice and funny. I definitely recommend this fine establishment.

Do not call to this place. We spoke with service and they promised to call us back and to look or they have tires in stock. They didnt call me and i called back again. they told me that they are busy and they do not have time to look or they have tires in stock and that someone will call me back as soon as they find out about it. I asked manager help, supervisor. Lady by name Anna told me that no one is available. We lost time for waiting their call. If they can not find what do they have in stock for one hour it means that to fix it and help wit it will take for ever. do not use this company.

DO NOT USE. Had our rv towed there for backfiring and lose of power. Got us in first thing the next day, which we were grateful for. We were literally there the entire day. They said we needed a carburetor and worked hard to get us one. We left feeling appreciate until we got on the I90 and started having the SAME EXACT PROBLEM. $1800 bill for the problem to NOT even be fixed. Todd was our mechanic. We tried to call the cell number that was on the card and was told we could have it towed back to be worked on some more as they dont guarantee any work. Bogus. They also broke the hinge on our good and did not disclose that to us. Feel like we were scammed

WARNING WARNING!! On the road RVers (BEWARE) do not stop here!! They put the wrong oil in my Mercedes RV charged me 720.00 for the service and caused my turbo to fail and caused 7500.00 worth of damage. Not only are they not willing to pay for repair but did not even offer a refund for work performed wrong. I even have their receipt showing they put in the wrong oil. Stay Away!!

We were traveling and had an issue that needed an expert. MCM responded in a timely and professional manner. We were in a vulnerable situation because of being on the road and out of options. The office staff took a message and called us back promptly. The shop crew understood the issue and the process involved to repair the damage. They placed 3 mechanics on changing fuel filter and placing 2 tires. They don’t warn you❗️❗️❗️ Each on of them charged 125$ an hour. That’s how they make money.. every single truck repair shop has estimated time and charge on replacing tire. AVOID AVOID AVOID ⛔️⛔️⛔️ this place!!!!!!

We just returned from a Mountain West vacation in our Motor Coach. We had a small problem with the RV coming into Bozeman. These delightful people fit us in right away so that we could keep our travel schedule and fixed the problem immediately. I highly recommend them for any RV owner or truck driver. Thanks MCM!

Honestly I cant say anything great, good or even satisfactory about this business. I told the nice lady that answers the phone my opinion and her answer was that she knew there was bad reviews out there but they really werent as bad as they say... I feel for the ladies who answer the phone cause I am sure I am not the 1st or last person to give them a ear full and its not the ladies fault. Bottom line is beware of this business. One star is to much if you were to ask me.

One of my drivers trucks had a bad shack. This shop was located close to the truck stop so they were my first call. They were happy to take the truck and put it in the shop as soon as it got there. They quickly diagnosed it as the center bearing and changed it out. Pricing was very fair for weekend work. I wouldnt hesitate to come back!

I truly appreciated their customer service and how I was back on the road in under a hour!! I snap my airline hose because the temperature was below freezing. They suggested the faster and cheaper way to fix it that would do the job just the same and it worked. Thank you, MCM Truck repair!

Polite fast great service I would go for any service I need

While I appreciate them getting us in, they did not charge an emergency fee. Rusty the mechanic was thorough and found the problem with amazing search skills. He ordered the $17 dollar part, and went to lunch while they sent for the part. He came back and it was the wrong part. We waited until the right part arrived and bought a new sewer line to also be installed. The correct part arrived and it took about an hour to install both.. we arrived about 12:45 and left after paying at 3:30.The charges are as follows:Shop labor 5 hours @ 125.00 = 625.003 way water value $17.00Service supplies (I guess that’s the water) 32.10Ez coupler sewer 57.15Credit card fee 21.94For a grand total of $753.19I went back in and thanked them for getting us in and for the technician who did a great job of determining the problem. I said we arrived at 12:45 and we were out of the building at 3:15. We didn’t even get into the garage until after 1pm. We disconnected our Jeep before we pulled in. That just didn’t add up to 5 hours. I also said they weren’t doing labor while they waited on parts. I was told then they charge the same $125 an hour to run for the part. I told them my husband offered to get the part, but they didn’t want him wandering around town. I told him we had gps.It took one hour to diagnose, one hour to get the part, and then to return it and get the right part and one hour to install.I honestly feel they overcharged us $250.00So be aware they charge when they are gone to lunch, they charge for the person sent to get parts at mechanic rates, and charge more hours than you are physically there.We paid, but we are not happy. We still appreciate the mechanic, but the service manager was rude and dishonest.

These people were dishonest, wasted our time (waited for 4 days in a hotel while they were working on our rv) and did not fix 2 of the 4 things listed. Yet still charged us almost $4000! Then, further down the road we had the two things fixed somewhere else in less than 3 hours for $193. I would strongly suggest you find another shop.

Amazing staff. I stopped by for them to inspect a truck I was thinking of purchasing and they had no problem giving it a once over on a Saturday night. And they didnt charge me anything. Most honest people Ive met in the trucking industry in a long time. Did I mention I was an out of Towner. They treated me like family and saved me from a big headache. Thanks again guys.

No complaints about service- they took me in right away, told me bearing on my alternator was bad and got approval from me to replace it. Only issue was that alternator on the bill for my 2015 Volvo VNL 780 was $631.95- sounds way to expensive. Asked them about the price before replacing it-Trish at service dept. told me she does not know. Understand that online is always cheaper, but not that much. Last year i replaced alternator for around $350-400 at Loves. Also not clear on $40.65 service supplies fee- what is that for? Anyways, maybe i am wrong- hopefully they will read this feedback and correct me. I was just too tired to argue after overnight driving. If i am wrong- i will delete this review. Thanks.

I just stopped in for some supplies but its a pretty nice place! I was greeted by a couple awesome dogs, the people were down to earth and they had a nice showroom full of products! As a former shop owner myself I can say these are the kinda people that make a good business! Ill be stopping in again for sure!

Beware!!!!!! Stay away from this place!!! They employ mechanics that are sloppy and then cover up for them!! Had my fuel pump replaced here and 500 miles later my fuel line came off while driving and truck shut off going up a grade, right in the travel lane!! Had this happened going down a grade the results could have been deadly!! Had to get towed asap out of the road! I later called mcm and told them all this, after there investigation they said the mechanic didnt remove the fuel lines even though he was working on my fuel system, the retaining clips were installed incorrectly and they slowly over the course of 500 miles came loose. This is the first only repair that the truck was in a shop for. After I requested they cover my tow bill at the least they refused and completely stopped replying. Just stay away, go somewhere that stand behind there work not run away!!

Truck comes with engine light on. After charge $150/hr total 5.5hrs still engine light on.Not recommend for Freightliner cascadia 2019 or upper model..

Very satisfied with their service. We had an a wheel hub failure on our 5th wheel RV. They towed it to their shop in Belgrade and was fixed promptly, parts were on site. Replaced that hub, brake assembly, bearings and seals.Had us ready to go in a reasonable time frame. Very good work, friendly people. Thanks

This facility is one of the best that we have been to during our 14 years of full timing. They took us in without any delay and correctly identified the problem. They had us back on the road that same afternoon. They even took the time to help my wife find someplace to get her hair cut while we were waiting. Highly recommend this facility

They can give good service.They seem knowledgeable.Both times we have taken chance on them, they charged extreme amounts.$250 to top off water in batteries.No estimate or warning.We were warned to be careful of their tactics, & they still got us. They should have informed us of issue, given us choice to do ourselves or they would for certain price. More fair & acceptable to charge U true time checking out problem, not even close to an hour.Their disrespect operating in this manner, their greed chased us away forever. Weve had 2 cargo trailers with problems in the last week. MCM got both trailers in quickly, charged fairly, and got our trailers back on the road in short working order. The actual trailer companies in town had a wait time of up to 2 weeks to get in! I am soooo glad I found MCM for prompt service! And the employees are very pleasant to work with. Thanks guys!

Just was there with a electical problem.They just try to get your money And dont Even Look at you truck.Get there, ceck in, wait couple hours, recieve a Call to park the truck in a bay.Spend 6 hours, They Said that cant found problem. Now my truck Even not starting. Got charget ~1100$ And They try to charge me 500$ to Tow truck 1 mile Away to Freightliner dealer.At the Dealer spend 1,5hr And i am back on the road.Give me a favor!!!!Please do not go there If you care about the money.

Truck air bag blew late Friday morning. The only one to fit our truck was 150 miles away in Billings at KW dealer. We chose to pick it up ourselves and set up appt Saturday morning at 8 AM. At 09:01 we rolled out of the shop, bill was paid and truck was fixed! Only $135! Thank you so much!

Awesome crew and office staff! Just passing through town, we experienced minor generator issues with our Winnebago Trend, but within two hours we were up and running again! Our dog was especially happy to have the cool AC back😊🐶. Reasonable service fees and flexible scheduling. Thank you!!!

They will truly rob you blind. Lady picks up quote me price saying its $150 an hr and a min of two hours and the price of the time then. I politely as could she hold will i call my driver she then hangs up. When i call back less than 3 mins after i call back my call keeps going to the voicemail. So then i have my driver call to see if the call will go through and guess what it did and she tells him 450 plus tax and the price of the tire. So i tried and call back afterwards and its still going to the voicemail so I thought I’ll let other customers know how they don’t care about us only the money . Please call around first before you go to them. Please take my advice. Go to people who are actually trying to help instead of tryin how to rob you!

Good service and a very good amount of common parts are in stock so that your down time of your 18 wheeler isnt to long.As well as they are having a after hours service and repair and they operate a call out Service truck to.

Brought my truck in with a bad head. $16,362 dollars later (after being charged 49 hours labor), the truck was done. Local Kenworth dealer said I was overcharged around $5000 dollars. Three months later, the truck blew the head gasket. When taking it apart, my mechanic said the head bolts were not properly torqued, they used the wrong form or loctite on the cam, the idler gear was installed wrong causing improper lubrication of timing cover, and a large amount of corrosion was found on the block suggesting water was leaking from the beginning. When I contacted MCM they said since their 30 days were up there was nothing they could do. Definitely find another shop for your repair needs.

Fast, friendly service and reasonably priced.

$250 for a battery charge? I could have just bought a new one for that price. Should have used my own portable jump device (that they knew was in the camper) and drove it down the road from the beginning. The service desk convinced me to come here instead of my usual mechanic, during the tow process, claiming they could work on my small Diesel engine. Turns out they couldn’t and wanted to get the part shipped out to be rebuilt, estimated at over 2 grand. Another mechanic in town was capable of making the fix for a fraction of the cost.Apparently this used to be a more reputable business but this has been the theme for years. Save your money and go somewhere honest.

The ladies in the office were super helpful and polite, the shop was clean and organized and everyone there was just super friendly. Lets not forget the great work that was done on my truck. Plus they have a bunch of cool stuff to look at in their chrome shop. If your find yourself needed a shop in the Bozeman, MT area,.....definitely look these guys up.

Called about getting an oil change a few weeks ago. They told my husband around $500. Went in the other day with my husband to drop the truck off and before we did, went into the office and asked for the price breakdown. The employee said $900!!! How in the world did that price go up? Seems like they are overcharging and trying to scam ppl. We went elsewhere since the employee became super rude and acted like it was our fault. We just moved here and were told they were good.... sorry far from being good..... pathetic!!!!!!!

No complaints. Michael got us out of a major pickle after my battery completely died and couldnt be jumped with a normal car at the top of Hyalite Canyon during a blizzard. Great guy.

Great shop and people, even tho I wasn’t in a big rig, my truck had a wheel problem while towing trailer, they got me Right in on a Sunday, and was real professional and polite.. nice waiting room, with couches and WiFi.. great place.. thank you

We had our RV fixed there while we where on ta cross country trip. Our Big foot leveling system would not work. They worked us in and found the problem and fixed it. It was a simple fix. They charged us for there time only. I found them to be honest, friendly and quick. To be honest I was skeptical about them after reading the reviews, but my experience proved it not to be the case. I recommend them highly.

Our motorhome developed transmission and electrical problems just outside of Butte, MT, and, after making phone calls for several hours, we discovered that MCM was the only towing company that would flat tow our vehicle, as well as being a highly recommended shop to do the repairs. We called to schedule a tow and the truck arrived within the hour. Tow was accomplished with no problems, and they got our vehicle into the shop that very day. Work was completed the next day, and the mechanic spent almost an hour with my husband, walking him through the problem and the repair. Fees were very reasonable. We could not have been happier with MCMs service, and recommend them very highly!

These people are great! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I’m glad they were here as I needed brakes on my motorhome. It turned out to be a major job but I’m happy and on the road again—safe now! Thanks for a good and necessary experience!

We had a truck shipped in on a semi and needed last minute help getting the truck unloaded. MCM was very quick to respond and got the truck off no problem!

We had an expedited full truckload shipment that needed to be reworked from scratch, and still had a very hot delivery deadline to meet. Not only was the product reworked to a degree where the bills were signed clean, but the owners of the company ran the load as a team THEMSELVES to make sure our delivery deadline was met! Tracking updates given the whole way. Nothing short of a freight miracle!

Got me in quickly and was able to find and fix the problem very quickly. Will definitely stop again

Dropped off a trailer the first of January to get a new axel put on. Said they could do it for $1800- $2000. Stopped back the 1st of April still not done and wanted to charge me $4000. Dont ever deal with these people.

If you’re in a pickle don’t call these guys . They wanted 500 bucks to bring me 10 gallons of fuel . 4 miles !!! My file gauge was reading 1/4 tank but I was out ... but anyway I called The local tow company and they were going to charge me half and also told me how to get it running at least to get a few more miles out of it.I made it to refuel Station and back on the road

Had the turbo gernade in my 2008 Volvo. MCM replaced the turbo along with the intercooler and air cleaner which took shapel when it failed. Work was done professionally, and when promised. Off the tracks.The turbo drain developed a leak nearly immediately. I called MCM and shared a couple pictures, they preferred I return the truck to them, but it was in California and not scheduled through Montana in the foreseeable future, so MCM Agee’s that I could take the truck into a local repair shop. I ended up taking it to Western Truck (Volvo) in Stockton CA.Shortest story is that Volvo removed the new turbo and replaced o rings and gaskets. MCM would only pay for one hour labor and no parts. I got stuck with an additional $340 bill in order to get my truck released.IMO when a new turbo is installed, it should not leak oil, and if it does, MCM not their customer should pay the tab.

We had trouble with our black water tank valve not working we dropped the trailer off at 10AM, told them that we were F trying to get to Yellowstone national Park. My wife is also disabled and on oxygen. Really need help. We went to breakfast and came back and they had not only found the problem, THEY HAD ALREADY FIXED IT!THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE FAST SERVICE.

Very very worst location. Work very slowly, the job witch should be done in 2 or maximum 3 hours, they doing in 7 hours, after this you will have to pay a lot of money,. For dot truck and trailer charging for 2 hours. I will never come back to this place.
