The lady on the phone was very nice and the tow truck driver was really cool too. I tried to help load my car but he politely insisted that I take my ride into town and let him handle it alone. I was so shocked at the price for what was done, that I added what I thought is should be as a tip! Inexpensive, fast, competent, and friendly people.

Its never fun breaking down and having to wait for a tow truck but due to wacky emissions issues Ive had to get towed twice while driving through on my route. Both times Best Rate towing has been prompt and professional. They have high quality well maintained equipment and great employees. The receptionist answered promptly and got my information and got a truck dispatched and even though I was about 40 miles out they were there within an hour and a half. I had a huge mom fail and locked my poor baby in the car, and it was 35 degrees out and the car wasnt even running! I called these guys panicked to get my car open and they were at my house in less than 5 minutes and didnt even charge me! The person that answered my call was very helpful and they were able to get somehow to the location within a very reasonable time table. The drive that responded to the scene was able to help get the car home safe without a tow which was a tremendous help. Had a great experience using this company and highly recommend them.

PJ, the manager, was very unprofessional in response to my attempt to get info from him about a tow that resulted in damage to my vehicle. He not only charged me for a illegal tow but he tried to changed me for illegal parking according to Hertz. I took the matter to BBB, and his resolution was that I was at fault. I dont know about Best Rate repair jobs, but I hope he treated his customers in a more professional manner than the way he treated me.

Jay from the repair shop is great. Our deisel motorhome was towed to Best Rate based on a recommendation from a mobile RV service. Jay made everything as easy as possible for us and the service to repair our issue with the DEF system was outstanding. I highly recommend Best Rate to anyone needing motorhome towing or repair.

My 18-year-old son thought it would be a good idea to drive into the mountains on a warm evening in March. He drove up Little Bear Road to NF-980 and got quite a ways before getting stuck in the soft, deep snow. I was unable to pull the car out with my SUV the next day, so I sucked it up and started calling towing services. Two other towing companies wouldnt even go up Little Bear Road. One of them referred me to Best Rate Towing. Liz was efficient and courteous over the phone and via text message. The driver, Luke, was friendly, professional, and efficient. He knew exactly what he was doing, and wasnt even rattled when we encountered another stranded vehicle partially blocking the path to ours. Best Rates mountain recovery vehicle (an old Toyota pickup) isnt much to look at, but it and Luke got the job done, and I escaped with the minimum two-hour service fee. Hopefully, my son has learned his lesson, but if he hasnt, I know who to call if this happens again.

Van broke down on I-90 and Best Rate had someone outro me within no time and was very professional. Pricing was reasonable. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs a tow.

Ive had to call Best Rate a few times recently and was happy with the service. They were there in the time frame the dispatcher said they would be or sooner, the driver were courteous and helpful. I would call them again if I ever need a tow or jump start.

Best rate towing and repair.. I had an engine installed in my 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee unlimited the mechanic who is not ase-certified did a lot of damage to the electrical system air conditioning door panel... They refuse to fix this after contacting them several times. BJ the owner stated that he will fix it charge for what they damaged and then said they will not release the vehicle unless they get paid for additional labor

Our 2000 GMC Savana broke down while on a road trip. No mechanics in town were able to see us for at least two weeks but Jay was able to get us in right away and have our van completely fixed within 24 hours! This guy knows his stuff and won’t overcharge you. Would definitely recommend!

Phil was very friendly, personable, and professional as he loaded up our Murano to take to our mechanic. He demonstrated empathy in light of our situation (one of our teen-aged daughters had mistakenly filled the vehicle with diesel instead of unleaded) and was genuinely sad for what happened. Tow truck guy was super friendly and professional

My son had an accident and Best Rate was recommended. No mention of price was given at the site when the car was recovered. A call was made to pay the bill and it was twice the expected amount. When asked about the cost a list was given for charges. One included setting out road signs to make others aware of the incident then there were fees for hook up, using shackles and other line items thanks for taking advantage of him in a tense situation. Nickle and diming someone in this situation is BS. Really a charge for putting out road signs? Will not recommend.

Im not on this website to cause anyone problems, but somethings got to be said about the service theyre giving. The person who picked up my car on Tuesday was not a very nice guy. He was in a big hurry and didnt seem to care about my wife and I. And, I guess, overall, the experience—even with the phone call, was not very good. The person who answered the phone was gruff and impatient, asking questions that I just didnt have answers for. I dont know where my spare tire is, or my tire tools, thats why I have roadside assistance. Also, my wife was not feeling very well, and I had to tend to her while trying to get a tow truck to tow our car to the shop. So, I was a little distracted. When I told the person on the phone that I wasnt sure where we were because of the snow, my comment was met with frustration. All Im saying is that, if youre talking to someone whos a Veteran of the United States Military, you should use a little respect. So, if this will help other people avoid making the same choice I made, I guess its a good decision to leave a comment on this website.

Been having some issues with my car today, my insurance company sent Best Rate to Livingston to come get my car and take it to the dealer in Bozeman. The driver, Josh was so kind and worked quickly to get my car loaded up.

This is a great service company. Tim in particular was extremely helpful. He towed our truck really early in the morning after a crash and then he went out of his way to let us retrieve our items from the truck the next day. Absolutely amazing service. A friend and I both slid off a forest service road into some deep powder in the drainage. We were ripped off by a different company that wasnt even able to get to the trucks to attempt to get them out, but still charged us an outrageous amount.PJ and Joel from Best Rate came out the next day with the right tools for the job and had both trucks back on the main road within two hours. They were extremely helpful, had lots of useful advice, and on top of everything charged us a third of what the company the day before charged.

New Years Eve; My family and I were traveling through Belgrade, headed home, when our vehicle started having issues that were going to prevent us from getting home that night. We were on vacation and had car trouble. We had to have our car towed to a local dealership after business hours to be fixed the next day. My husband had left to get a rental car while we waited behind with the broken down car and a camper we were towing. When they arrived, the tow guy refused to leave my four kids and I alone in the camper on the size of the road. He didn’t have to, but he waited for my husband to come back to ensure we were safe. Best mechanic I have ever had!!! They installed a rear axel on my 95 f250 powerstroke from AF&T auto. For what ever reason, my truck kept blowing the rear axel seals on both sides after the install. They stood by their work and replaced the seals until the problem was solved, and never charged me for the extra work or time. If you need any work done on any vehicle, gas or diesel, Best Rate Towing is the place to go!.P.S. I am very picky and apprehensive on who works on my truck, these guys have earned my trust and superseded my expectations!

After bad dealings with a repair shop, Best Rate was a breath of fresh air. Tim 2 was more helpful than any of the mechanics we had dealt with. He got our car back on the road. He was kind, courteous, and helpful.

Made an appointment, their mechanic didn’t show up. Three days later I have another appointment. Four days after that they call and say that they won’t look at it because it’s not their expertise. Why did it take them so long you ask? Why did they strand me with out a car for that long? Who knows. Had experience with them in the past and loved them. This broke my heart.

I pulled in a little before closing time with a ‘power issue’ on my Motorhome. Tom listened to my issue and asked if I wanted them to check it out. I know he was ready to leave work but graciously changed his clothes and washed up so he wouldn’t get the MH dirty. They found a P code that needed to be checked out. Although they weren’t able to look further right then, Jay offered for me to stay in the yard and they would check in the morning. He hooked me up to electric and I was set. The next morning they did some more tests. The rates were reasonable and Jay made sure I had his card to call if I ran into any issues. I am a single woman traveling in my MH. I blew a radiator hose under jackrabbit lane going west bound I90 he came out fast got me to there shop and found the problem called the parts store and they set the part out because they were closing half hour later I was down the road. Wish I could remeber all there names. Thanks again!!
