I normally get my hair cut near my office in Massachusetts, but didnt have time this past week. There were quite a few barber shops to choose from around here and Im really glad I chose Spencer Martin! Reasonable prices and great barber shop conversation. And the trim looks great! Will definitely be back!

Absolutely the worst haircut of my life.After telling the barber (the one closest to the front window) how I wanted my hair cut (dont want it short, dont trim the length of the side burns, leave it a little long on top so I can comb it back, some off the back, basically a trim) he butchered everything.He trimmed the sideburns short leaving the left side 1/2 higher than the right; he cut the sides much too short (when I asked if he was taking too much off he said he wasnt - he kept the chair facing away from the mirror so I couldnt see what he was doing); he cut the top leaving very distinct corners at each side so the haircut looked like a triangle; when I asked him to correct the corners he then cut even more off the sides and off the top leaving everything way too short.He is very engrossed with his scissors, working them fast and all the time as though he was fixated with them.Im not particularly fussy about my hair and I was simply hoping to get a regular, decent haircut at this barbershop because it is so conveniently located for me, but never again!Now I cannot comb my hair back as its so short everything sticks out and is not uniform. Ill never use this barber again - he doesnt know what he is doing!Absolutely the worst haircut of my life.This guy is a butcher and should never cut peoples hair. I dont know how they stay in business with him there pretending to be a barber. This guy doesnt even rate a 1 star, he should turn in his barbers license, PERIOD!The one previous time at this barber shop the other barber did a better job. He listened and did what I asked for. Although my hair was cut closer than what I wanted, it at least was long enough to comb back and was uniform.

Frankly, about as good as it gets, and the line of people usually waiting to get their hair cut, no matter what day or time you go there, is proof of that statement. A+.

Ive never been disappointed with this place and Ive been many times. I went on a Saturday where Spencer was the only one there but he still got to everybody in the shop, even after his listed 12 pm closing time on Saturdays. Good conversation and super down to Earth people in this shop. This has become my go to.

This is the best place to have a quick cut. My husband and son love going to have Spence cut their hair. It’s very busy if you go in on the weekends. Plan to be there for a while if you walk in but they always make sure to get to everyone.

Great haircut Cool Place Nice Guy.But not a place I want to talk about Politics. They clearly are on one side of the coin. This might slow me down from going again.

I absolutely love going here. I went in on a whim one day because it was closest to my house and I needed a cut bad. Since then I have gone back for every hair cut. Great guys and do an amazing job, Id refer them to anyone. Some people complain about the wait but its worth it and just plan accordingly. They make every customer feel like they are regulars (even on my first time in)

Three strikes. This is a one man hobby not a business. Doesnt keep stated hours and cuts, when you can get them, are inconsistent.

I go there all the time, never had a bad haircut. The barbers are talkative and put in the effort to get to know you. They do stay open later than the hours say, but they close the door at that time. Expect a wait unless you go at an off time (a lot of high school students go there after school, and adults go after work)

The Best, Steve is awesome! Wish they did the old fashioned shaves. Top quality place, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES bring up conspiracy theory with Spence avoid at all costs!!!

Waited... and waited... and waited for one of the (young) barbers to finish the one guy he was working on while the other young barber had completed two customers. There were four more patrons waiting to get cuts, but the guy looked like he didnt really care. Only had an hour lunch break to get a haircut but that didnt happen. The slow one was literally standing in front of his older patron and talking MOST of the time.Place looked nice, clean and friendly but some folks only want to get in and get back to work...

Great old school barber shop. Cant say enough about this shop. Staff is the best and youll be looking you best when you leave!

Perfect........Spence is a great guy. Plan on a bit of time but well worth the wait. Wish they did shaves as well.

Gave this place another chance and Spencer personally cut my hair. Missed a spot on my fade and left it an inch longer than my buzz. Also cut into my hairline in the front this is the second time this has happened. Terrible shop.
