Doug and his team are incredible! My son who is now in fifth started going there last year. In just over 10 months his math and reading skills have improved dramatically. In fact his 5th grade teacher was so impressed that he only missed one on a recent math test. I would highly recommend Doug and his team. They are patient and kind. It is such a blessing to see my son with much better self esteem now that he is doing better in class. Thank you!

The tutoring club has been an amazing support for my 13 year old daughter. When she began struggling in math in 6th grade, we realized that we need to find extra support and tutoring for her as soon as possible. We scheduled a meeting with Doug and he completed a full assessment of her math level, along with a plan to help our daughter improve her math skills and catch up. Since going to the tutoring club, Doug and his team have helped our daughter achieve As and Bs in math and improve her self confidence. We are so grateful.

So happy with the reading progress made by my daughter with the help of Tutoring Club. She began in the spring of 2013 and was at least 5 grade levels below in reading. With the help of Doug and his great staff, she is now reading at grade level. I highly recommend Tutoring Club!!!!

I highly recommend Tutoring Club. A year ago my 12 year old thought she was dumb in math, and wouldnt even raise her hand in class when she didnt understand something. A year later, and now in middle school, now getting As and Bs, she has increased her math ability and confidence so much that she is always the first person in class to raise her hand and answer questions. Math is now one of her favorite classes. I could not have helped her like the tutors at Tutoring Club have. I can think of no better investment I could make towards my childs future!

My son has had a very positive experience with the Tutoring Club of Tigard. He is taking Algebra 2 as a freshman in HS, and he wanted to make sure he would do well. So we signed him up for the Tutoring Club in math this past summer. He is currently working on getting an A in Algebra 2. I credit this to the review of math skills and the reinforcement of good math practices that the Tutoring Club has given my son. Id highly recommend the Tutoring Club for students who are doing well in school, but want to continue to excel when they move into HS.

The Tutoring Club has been our son’s place to go for math help for the past year. When he started out, he was behind and very insecure. Now, one year later, he is confident and likes math! We owe this success to Doug and his wonderful tutors (Maggie in particular), who knew how to approach my son and how to motivate him. They pinpointed the areas in which our son needed improvement, and then they worked on those areas until he reached the desired level.Not only have we been impressed with Doug’s and the tutors’ professionalism and correctitude, but also with their kind and warm-hearted approach towards learning. Our son knew he needed to work hard during lessons, but at the same time he enjoyed his tutor’s sense of humor and felt encouraged and motivated all along.
