I came to HR Block to Have taxes done right. Uday M. was great very helpful smart and did a great job. My only issue is the app is not very good. I choose the drop off option so the app needed to work and it didnt I ended up having to come into the office.
Go see Susan or Joy! These two individuals helped me get through a confusing situation and didnt blow my issue off like others at close by locations. Everyone in this building was way nicer and helpful than any other time I went into H and R block.
Susan is the best! We have been partners with her and hr block for many years. Same time next year!
I filled out the form to update my address and told Janet multiple times of my address change and she still entered my old address. On top of that I noticed other things that were wrong. She did not include my unemployment benefits either, she misspelled my sons name. Too many mistakes. I been trying to get ahold of her and it’s impossible 🤬
I dropped off my documents to Jannat Z, a so called Senior Tax Analyst about 2 weeks ago. Up to this day nothing has been filed. It has now been 12 days since she said she would get it done, nothing. The receptionists who answer the phone at the front desk act clueless to whats happening. Paying $300-$400 for them to procrastinate this and miss the done deadline by 12 days is very unprofessional. This laziness is done by a so called Senior Tax Analyst. If this is the quality of Senior Tax Analyst imagine how the other tax filing agents perform. I wouldnt recommend this location at all.
I liked Susan - she was fast and very nice.
Great tax pro I like working with.
So i have been completing my taxes with this H&R Block for a few years now. I am looking forward to completing my Taxes this year with Kat Baker. She is very friendly and will do what she can to help you.I really like the fact they explain the prep fees for you at the beginning of your appointment and give you the choice to cancel or reschedule your appointment if necessary. Also it is really nice to have the optional services such as the peace of mind, ( Audit Protection) if you’re afraid you might be audited.
I have worked with H&R Block in the past years. I trust them and I dont go anywhere else.
I liked how they explained everything to me
The agent was nice, but this service is a ripoff. I paid more than double the amount Ive ever paid at H&R Block this year. With free online options, theres no reason to spend money on a service that charges me for 20 minutes of basic service and financial browbeating.
Extremely quick and easy!
Done HRB since I had to fileActually did Turbo Tax successfullyBut after calculating it was close to what I had to pay HRBEvery time I find an agent I can trustSooner or later they bail on meHopefully Janet Winder will stick aroundShe knows what is going onShe is very friendlyAnd she gets the job doneGod bless JanetAnd HRBPhilip Chase
Joy Emanuel was amazing. Very polite and helpful.
We thought we had a super complicated return due to some insurance forms along with multiple people on the policies. It was all simplified and we got our notifications that our taxes were accepted very quickly after our appointment. Shoutout to Eduardo who was super nice, patient and concise on our taxes. We have more trust in our taxes now being done by professionals here!!! Highly reccomended!
Janet is very professional and kind.
JANET WINDER was very professional and she explain very well the details when I have any question.
I am very pleased with the professionalism I obtained during my visits for the past two years. Thank you.
I have been a customer of H & R Block for around 20 years and have always received excellent service.
Jannat was outstanding. Efficient, professional and thorough. I will be back in 2020 to meet with her.
Made an appointment and they literally just refused to help us. We went in said what we were hoping to have help with and they just turned us away. The front desk attendant even talked down to us. Did not appreciate it at all. Also super expensive so save your money.
It was a great experience relaxing and painless. I was well taken care of.
Easy, safe, professional
Because everybody is honestly to guests. God bless you ; Amen.
Clueless. Slow. Rude.I normally file my taxes using Turbo Tax, but I bought a house this year so I opted to have the professionals do it. My tax-filer, while very nice, was completely clueless. She typed unbelievably slow and made several mistakes. I had to watch the screen very carefully to ensure she was entering the right values and saving the information. She had NO idea how to file the forms I needed for my new house and had no knowledge of the First Time Homebuyers Credit. When she attempted to ask her colleague for help, her coworker was extremely condescending and rude to her, while providing no help at all. After an hour, I was frightened for my finances and she informed me the cost would be $160, I gathered my papers and walked out. Ill buy Turbo Tax thanks, I feel way better off than with the professionals. Save your money, your time and your tax refund and go somewhere else.
My tax professional
It was straight forward and helpful
To start off, this is a review for the office on Allen in the Safeway parking lot. I did not find them on google, so I’m posting to this office’s address because I felt like I needed to get our experience out there. The Allen office did our personal income taxes for the 2012 tax year (my wife and I - married filing jointly). The lady did an outstanding job - so good that we requested her for this years taxes (2013). This year was a completely different story for two reasons - their service fee was very high and they would have cost us an extra $2,000 in taxes had I not questioned the numbers three or four times before she finally gave in and realized she might be wrong.Regarding the fees, we paid $99 for the previous year for a second look. We assumed to do them from the beginning given very similar information this year that the price may double, give or take. It quadrupled to $402.50. We didnt ask what the fees would be before she did the taxes, so we paid it without raising a fuss. The worst part involved the state returns. We live in Oregon but my company is based out of Kansas and only takes out Kansas state income tax. When she gave us the numbers for what we owed to Oregon, I knew something was off, so I asked her to explain the numbers. The total final numbers that she said we owed to both Kansas and Oregon resulted in a combined state income tax of approximately 11% of our adjusted gross income. Knowing that Oregons state rate is 9% and Kansas state rate is about 6.3%, I knew the combined total due to the states should have been somewhere around 8% (closer to 9% than 6.3% because more income was dedicated to Oregon). I asked her several times about this and told her that it didnt make sense that the taxes were 11% for the state returns and she kept coming back with the argument that the states are completely independent of each other. I knew that what was likely happening is that she was doing the Oregon taxes as if she was completely ignoring the Kansas return...then after doing the Oregon return she was calculating an additional amount due to Kansas. My company withheld only Kansas state taxes (not Oregon). Due to this, she said we owed the full 9% of our adjusted gross income to Oregon, not taking into account that a portion of our AGI should have been shifted to the Kansas return. So in essence, she was arguing that we should be doubled taxed - penalized, in other words - for living in one state and working for a company based out of another. After probably 30 minutes of questioning her numbers and arguing (politely) back and forth, I think the light bulb finally came on and she realized she might be wrong. She asked us to leave so she could take another look at our taxes that night. Well, she eventually got back to us the middle of the next morning and said she recalculated everything, giving us credit to our Oregon return for taxes paid to another state. In the end, we came out about $2,000 ahead of where we would have been if my wife and I would have just accepted the numbers she gave us. Instead of paying out $200 to the states and H&R Block, we ended up getting back $1,800 after paying H&R Block. After this whole fiasco, we did not even get an apology or an offer of a discount to our service fee. If they had tried to make it right, I probably wouldnt have written this review, or would have at least given them a couple more stars. This process showed me that H&R Block, despite being a professional tax preparation company, needs to be double checked on all of their returns. If you are not familiar at all with federal or state tax codes, I would highly recommend not using H&R Block. And as a follow-up, I called H&R Block to file a complaint and they said I would hear back within a week. It’s been 10 days now and still nothing…
Fast, efficient processing! Thanks
Ching was very helpful and kind
Very expensive someone told me that they have someone who charges $100 for the whole thing.
I always come back every year
Nice, but a little to costly.
Great service
