I am a tenant with Sherman Family Properties and it has been a wonderful experience. I had been looking for office space for over a year, trying to find just the right place with the right landlord. I was so glad to find Sherman Family Properties, who had two space options open at the time. They were willing to work with me to make modifications if needed, but happily none were required.The property manager, Mary, is friendly, inviting, and quite attentive to details. She made a point of telling me about other tenants with similar interests that I might wish to connect with; as well as letting me know about the local business owners association meetings. Maintaining and improving the property is important her and she keeps me advised of anyone coming to the property for any reason and checks in to make sure that scheduling will work with me. She is also very responsive if something unusual comes up.I am very happy with my office space. It was cleaned prior to my arrival with repairs and updates completed as well. I am also pleased with parking availability, maintenance and my continuing interactions with the staff.

I have been working in the canyon building for about 8 years now and have known the building manager for the entire time. I mention this because it is the reason we started renting space from Mary. When a building manager is family and they are there to talk to when you have an issue is very important to us. Mary is a hands on person and will come to help night or day. I have been in need for a key to get in to the office, and have called Mary to get access and she is always Johnny on the Spot! Thanks for all of your hard work!

We rented space in the Canyon Building for about 25 years prior to closing our business. Prior to that we were in another building owned by Mary that was taken over by the city for light rail. Mary takes good care of her building and tenants and makes constant improvements. the building location was great with easy access.

This is a great building with a wonderful landlord. Mary is always responsive to tenant requests. I enjoy the tenants, the facility and the landlord. I have been here since 2014 and really like the location. --Robert

I have had my business at the Canyon Building For 7 years now. I can’t imagine being anyplace else. The owner is totally reachable and has worked with me to resolve questions and concerns every step of the way. It’s clean and the tenants are nice and friendly.There are other tenants in the building who have been there longer than I have been. That says a lot!The ground floor is accessible but the second floor is not. I have clients with mobility issues so I’ll be staying on the first floor.There is a great mix of small businesses, a meeting/ lunch room with a microwave and a hot/cold filtered water dispenser. I have access 24/7 and regularly see clients in the evening hours. I can stop off and take care of paperwork early or late.As a small business owner the price is very manageable. There is not big fancy lobby or concierge, but that’s not what I need. I have clients from all over Portland, Beaverton and Hillsboro. The location is perfectly located for me and my business.

I love working with Mary. She always try to do whatever she can to create a win/win situation. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
