I had my front porch stained by Schopps. They did a decent job but had to return to retouch several very obvious misses after I pointed those out: 1) the original masking tape was left behind, 2) patches of rough sanding and incomplete staining in several areas, 3) sharp nails were sticking out that should have been filed: this in particular was a safety no-no with kids in the house.They are not cheap and I expected to be wowed for what was a straightforward job. That did not happen.To their credit, they did return and finish the job.They were very friendly and professional in their interactions, but unfortunately Im not sure that Id go back.

They were on time, professional, and super friendly. The gentleman that washed the windows showed great attention to detail, making sure that every spot was removed from the glass. Adam came out last month for an in-person inspection of the deck we needed to have refinished. We were given a very reasonable bid and accepted it. At all times, we were kept in the loop about when we could expect the work to be done. In fact, due to a fortunate cancellation by another customer, we were able to get our job done 6 days early! Both guys who did the work were great. Francisco did the power washing, stripping, and brightening, then two days later, Justin did the sanding and the staining/sealing. The deck looks fabulous. Taylor, the scheduler, kept us up to speed with dates and times throughout the experience. The final payment was exactly what had been quoted. Couldnt be more pleased with our choice!

The day after they finished painting the deck midnight blue, I noticed a few areas that were missing paint and I could see the wood and where the previous dark brown color was visible. After giving schopp chance to fix the issues that occurred after painting. See images of the missing paint. The following day when I went to inspect my deck to see if they fixed all the previous issues, I still found missing paint. At that point I had enough and decided to fix it myself. While carefully checking my deck and painting any missed spots I found 1) two areas where they painted over debris from the pressure washer. One of them I was able to scrape off and repaint. The 2nd large debris was too big and I was only able to get it partially scrapped off. I also found a spot where the bristles from the paint brushes where left and painted over.I hired them to get a professional job and that was not the result at all. My deck was left looking worse than before the job was started.

They did a great job cleaning my windows. Very reasonably priced.

We had them put up our Christmas lights and they came on time and did a great job. When we had a bulb burn out, they came and fixed it right away, and left us with an extra, just in case. Very nice!

I would have been happy to give Schopps a good review had they completed the service they quoted me for. However, after quoting me a very good price for staining my fence, I did my due diligence and asked them a few more questions, making sure the quote included both sides of my fence, guarantees, etc. I then put down a deposit, feeling like I had a great deal with a professional company. I then decided to just go ahead and have them quote finishing a small staining job on a portion of the fence I hadnt completed. But I was then told the first quote was incorrect and would actually be $200 more. While they admitted it was their bad, they made no offer to compensate. They could have honored their first quote, which I think is what most businesses would or should do, given that I accepted it and put down money. They could have offered to do the small extra job free of charge to compensate for the extra money they were now asking for. But they offered nothing. Not even an apology. He just said I could get my deposit back if I wanted, which I did. Even a small gesture of compensation for their mistake would have kept their business with me. So, while I cannot speak to their job performance, I do not consider them professional.

We had ourselves front porch and rear deck stripped and re-stained by Schopps Home Maintenance. Francisco and Emelio really did a great job. They showed up on time each day and worked hard getting the job done in 2 days. Were very happy with the results. Thank you.

We ended up being kind of disappointed with the work they did on our deck and front steps. We chose them, even though the quote came in $400 higher than others ($150 of which was specificallycalled out as masking), because we were assured that they would protect the railing around the area. This didnt happen. There are also patches that dont look like they even got sanded. Communication was also very poor - I understand that a lot is dependent on weather, but a heads up about what work is being done when would have been nice.

We hired Schopps home maintenance to pressure wash our driveway and patio. They arrived on time and did a good job. Contacting them and scheduling were easy and they were responsive. We just felt that the price was on the higher side. Otherwise, would have given a 5 star rating. They did tell us the price in advance, so there werent any surprises. But we still think the price could have been a bit lower.

At least the third time (probably fourth) weve used Schopp, going back probably 10 years. Each time theyve been responsive and done high-quality work when they said theyd do it. I recommend them to others often.

Daniel was very thorough, professional and patient working with me until we got the scoop of work written up to my complete satisfaction. Multiple crews worked on the restoration and staining of our back deck and front porch which included replacing some planking. And restoring and applying non-skid paint on our steps and wheelchair ramp. There were a number of small issues that needed attention at the end of the project. Paul Schopp inspected the project at that point and identified a number of small issues that still needed attention. He said his goal was to make sure we were satisfied with the job his folks did. He sent Alejandro out to finish the job and to make sure everything was completed and that we were happy with the finished project. Alejandro did an outstanding job finishing the project and we are very happy with the completed work. Jennifer and Shannon at the main office were great communicating with me throughout the project. They were the consummate professionals and coordinated everything with me from scheduling of the work to billing. Paul has a great team of hard working professionals. Schopps Home Maintenance will be putting up our Christmas lights this year. And we will be calling on them in the future to meet our home maintenance needs.

We were prepping our house to put on the market and wanted a good deep clean of the house. Overall they did a good job the one thing I wanted more on was the hardwood floors. They did an OK job but didnt have the ability to do a wax or deep clean. Overall good job.

This is an edit to my original post. I mentioned in my post that from BELOW, there was a fern/weed left growing between the gutter and fascia . After saying this, they came out and rectified that right away, dealing with the chaos of our move and neighbor repaving a driveway. All in all responsive and they do good work and the crew was polite and pointed out some bad and missing concrete shingles. I would use them again. While they are more expensive than say a Craiglist person, they have their own equipment, insurance, clean up, etc. Worth the modestly higher cost to that route.
