I called Lonnie and told him my car sounded like a hot rod and I was afraid my catalytic converter had been stolen or was damaged. He told me they were busy but to bring it in right away so they could look at it. Fortunately we had dodged the bullet as Lonnie said and the converter had been damaged but not removed. They were able to repair it. Service was quick, friendly and far less expensive than I thought it would be. I am so grateful. Thank you, Lonnie.

The muffler’s bracket had broken leaving it almost onto the roadway. I was headed home about ninety miles away after leaving a doctor’s visit and my wife was not feeling very well and needed to go home. Midas was very busy with all bays full. Loni, the manager came out, saw the problem and immediately removed a car that was being worked on, put mine in that bay, fixed it had refused all payment. An amazing experience and dealing with decent, skilled workers made it all happen. The absolute best. Use this place even if you have to go out of your way.

I needed an oil change and called Midas. Nic Belgard was able to squeeze me in. I asked if he could check my vehicle for any repairs that I might need. He had me out in an hour! His team did a thorough check of my car, and were much faster than I anticipated. My car drives much better and I 100 % trust these guys!!! Im going here for any future maintenance!!!

My dad advised me in my early 20s that if you find a good mechanic that you can trust, then stick with them. That said, I have been a loyal customer at Midas the past 40 years. They do thorough inspections with honest recommendations. Unlike some places I have heard of, they have never had my cars undertake any unnecessary maintenance just to make a quick buck. My wife and step-daughter are now customers as well. Whenever anyone is looking for a new mechanic I speak highly of Lonnie and his crew, encouraging them to give Midas a try...they will be pleased with the results.

Ever since I bought my car three years ago I’ve been coming to this location for all things needed: oil changes and brake repair and now shock replacement. This place is honest and their employees are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, finding an honest mechanic is tough but with this place you can’t go wrong.

I so appreciate the guys here. They are honest and quick! I had a recall on my car from the dealer-where I was informed that I need a coolant flush. I also thought I may have had an oil leak so I took my car to Midas. Midas looked over my car and said everything actually looked good! My coolant looked good and didnt need changed and the oil leak I thought I had was actually just my AC condensation tube draining. They didnt charge me at all for checking up on my car and actually saved me from paying for a coolant flush that was not necessary or sneakily charging me for something I thought I needed but didnt. I will forever be a Midas customer.

The best experience at a tire shop Ive ever had! The staff was extremely helpful and not pushy at all. Instead of doing work they knew wouldnt solve my problem, they gave me a report and let me make a decision. Ill definitely be coming back.

Said I had thousands of dollars worth of stuff I needed to do. Went to a local mechanic and he fixed everything I needed for $160. Car runs great. To put it in perspective another midas said I only needed a couple hundred dollars of work needed.

First of all I heard these guys quote a lady to replace struts just in labor way too much.They charged me 1200.00 bucks to replace front bearings. They said it was an 8 hour job.I went to see my friends mechanic he said it was a 30 minute job by a real mechanic. I youtubed it and my friends mechanic was right. Took a certified Toyota mechanic 25 minutes to replace bearings on front end. These guys will lie to you. Do yourself a favor and go to another place.

Got hit by road debris and they were able to let me know the cost of repairs and parts up front. They did a small fix for free so I could safely drive until I get the time to leave my car in the shop. These guys dont swindle, the manager, Nic, is a very nice fellow.

They told me that I needed my oil pan replaced which cost me about $500 unfortunately when I told my son about this he called another mechanic Right away which said that they could just replace it with a bigger oil pan drain plug for $100 or less and he called Midas and told them to stop work right away and that they would take the car to another location even though it needed to be towed away the manager at agreed but then called back two minutes later saying that the work was already done and that we basically had to pay them the $500 this happened in a matter of minutes so they either did not know what was going on or basically forced us to pay them for the work that they agreed they would not do that was the first incidentThe second incident my son took his truck in because somebody had hit it in a parking lot to get the alignment checked because the tire had been hit he called the front office and talk to whoever answered the phone ones kept asking them what it meant because they said that the L ball joint needed to be replaced and they kept talking about insurance and that it was a mistake and both of them needed to be replaced and he kept asking them what side the L bar joint was was that the driver side or the passenger side it was one simple question that the gentleman that was answering the phones either did not know or did not want to put somebody else on the phone that could answer the phone so after asking the question multiple times he just hung up on him so they are nice when you are paying them or getting work done but when it comes down to it if they’re not getting any money they are extremely rude and hang up on you or just do work and charge you for it so I highly advise you to go somewhere else or go there and get an estimate and then find another mechanic to check that they are being honest or more importantly get the work done for a lot lessSorry for no periods voice to text good luck with your car

Made appointment for simple oil change and tire rotation. Sat there for 45 minutes while they pulled in 3 other cars. Used them in Arkansas and they only put in 3 quarts of oil instead of five. Lifelong customer who is fed up with there declining service.

It was my first time here and I was nervous! The last place I went to was constantly trying to sell me services or products I didnt really need. When I walked in, I had to wait a few mins, but was greeted very promptly. It was the gentleman at the front of the stores first day. He let me know and I really appreciated that. I dont mind waiting for things to take a bit longer, as long as I know why. He was really friendly, as was the manager. He gave me an amazing deal, which was so appreciated. I came in for a headlight out, and the service technician also found out I had a brake light and turn signal out! I really am grateful that they discovered that, as it saved me from getting pulled over by a cop. Everybody was so nice and friendly. All my car needs are going through here now. Thank you so much! John and Lonnie were great! They were slammed on a Saturday but found the time to check out the issues with my Honda Accord I had serviced 18 months ago. Not only did they do an in depth diagnostic of the car but quickly found the issue. They let me leave my car there over the weekend and started work first thing Monday. Lonnie had my car ready before the end of the work day. They kept me up to date with any changes to the work being done along with any effect it had to the quoted price. They verify everything with you before they start work and ensure you are satisfied with the finished product. I appreciate their efficiency and the honest conversations. Will use this shop anytime!

The staff is always friendly and respectful to me and the prices seem incredibly fair. As a young woman who doesnt know a great deal about cars, I do worry that mechanics will attempt to take advantage of that lack of knowledge and attempt to get me to pay for something that doesnt really need fixing. Not the case here. The staff are honest with me about what really needs fixing and what takes priority. I had a 96 Honda Accord with 300,000 miles on it that definitely had a few consistent issues. The staff kindly told me what was going on with the car and what was an immediate concern. One time, I was given a list of about 6 parts that needed replacing (because of the age of my car). When I said I would pay for all of them at once, the manager was honest and told me I only needed to do one immediately. I was blown away by this and am really grateful that there are good mechanics in the world like these guys who really just want to help out every day people. I recommend this Midas to everyone!

Honestly, cant be anymore disappointed. Im happy I didnt actually get my car serviced here.Story:I brought my car over from the East Coast and as a result my exhaust was broken due to rust corroding away a piece of pipe. The guy that works the front was really nice, and they did take a look at the car for free, so that was nice. Then speaking with the mechanic about the issue and the costs, he quoted me a sizable amount of money saying that they would need to ship parts for the exhaust over from the East coast because of the special exhaust coating. The quoted me an even more heinous amount if I wanted to replace the exhaust.Upon getting questioned about the quotes and what he could do instead, he got huffy with us and became a bit of a jerk. I dont know much about cars, but something didnt seem right.Upon taking my car to a couple other shops, REAL muffler specialists, I came to find that the guy was giving me the run around. A real muffler specialist could replace the parts for a fraction of the cost.Just for an idea of cost that Im talking about, Midas quoted me $900 to replace a rather small piece of pipe and $1500 to replace the whole exhaust from the headers back. A real muffler shop quoted me $550 to replace the entire exhaust from the headers back with better performing parts.I dont like bashing on businesses, but I also dont like businesses that try to pull a fast one on people. I had heard of reputable places trying to jack up pricing and repair things that arent broken, but now after comparing I see how bad it really is.

Once again, Lonnie and his team exceeded my expectations. Not only did they quickly find and resolve the issues I brought them, they also found a couple more that needed attention.Thats why I have been bringing my vehicles to Beaverton Midas since the early 90s. I know I can trust them to keep me safe on the road, and at a fair price too.

Today I had my best experience at a big name automotive shop. I called Thursday afternoon to schedule an oil change plus for my Plymouth Valiant. I was promptly scheduled for a Friday morning appointment by Eric, who was very kind and respectful over the phone.After I left my car with the guys at Midas, I kept thinking, they are going to find something wrong with my car and insist that I spend money that I dont have a lot of at the moment. However, when I arrived at Midas an hour and half later, my car was parked nearest the customer door and looking sharp.Unfortunately, I didnt catch his name, but an older gentleman (maybe in his mid to late 50s) spoke to me about my car. Since it is 40+ years old, there are of course some minor issues, such as small leaks and a tired suspension. Other than that, I was told that my car was in great shape for its age, and that if I decide to have the minor issues looked at, that they would love to help me out. They even offered to install my new windshield wipers, but the guys down at OReillys helped me with that. In the end, I was given a $20 off coupon for any service, as well as a smiling face, for my car was properly inspected, with new oil and a tire rotation. I will be returning to this Midas.

Update: after our reviews we were promised a partial refund for the fact that our van still isnt fixed and if my husband updated his review to show a resolutio. And he did. After he updated his review they called him and told him they would not give any refund. So they lied to us to get us to change our reviews. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU I HAVE THE PROOF. (adding photo if email)Brought my van in Saturday paid 350 issue not fixed brought it in again at 8 am today didnt leav til 5 30 pm not the issue is worse and they charged another 550. How dare you do this to people you made it so i cant even defrost my car.

Setup an oil change for 12:15 today on my Jeep. I arrived a little bit late, probably 12:22. i was told it would be 45 mins to an hour. It took over 30 minutes to get my car into their shop to start the change, and when i asked if that hour started when i arrived or when the car got into their bay, i was told because i was late, theyve moved a car or 2 ahead of me. Not happy but i understand. The oil change itself took almost another hour on top of that. I didnt leave until 1:40. Price was reasonable but the time was excessive. While i was there, a young man was filling out an application. When he was done, they said they werent looking for anyone but would keep it on record. Frankly, if youre taking over an hour for an oil change, you need employees. Hire him and stop making your customers wait.

What kind of shady business practices happen at Midas? The ones where you pay twice for an electrical diagnostic. The ones where you get charged $400 in labor for a $100 job. The ones where the manager tells your pregnant wife how much of a nuisance it is to help you! The tech was great but Bob is a fraud.*management reached out and offered refund of the $400 labor cost from most recent visit. That says a lot and I will adjust my review accordingly upon receiving in the mail. Already I added a star for this attempt to reconcile.

Avoid this Midas. I took an oil change which included free inspection of the car. One of my cars head light was blown out.. Midas inspection report came back as head lights was working fine and worse indicated that my car doesnt have an air filter ( it does have one).. when i asked them about the head lights, they were unapologetic and charged me 35 bucks for a 5min job..

I had good luck here. Took my sons 1994 Volvo wagon in that had a hideous oil leak with 200,000 miles. I knew it was bad and expected at least a couple thousand $ but got the timing belt, water pump (it was also leaking) and fixed the seals for under $1k. hasnt leaked since so Im good with that.

Do NOT take it to these guys!!! Dropped my Dakota off to be repaired while I was traveling and asked them to fix the fuel tank that was leaking fuel and to check a the brakes. They called saying my ball joints needed to be replaced along with several other items. I opted to go ahead with the ball joints. When I picked up my car 7 days later when I returned. The fuel tank was not fixed and the brakes were not fixed. Upon driving, the vehicle dramatically pulled to the right. When I called to complain, the gentleman said he was not the one who worked on it. They asked for me to come back for them to look at it again. Why? I spent $1500 with them and they didnt do the two things I asked them to do, and made my truck drive terrible. I took the tire off and fixed the pull to the right myself. Took 5 mins. Lazy tech! If they drove around the block with it they would of found it.

Told me my catalytic converter was broken and it would be $1,200 to fix. When I declined to have them fix it, they went ahead and changed my oil without asking me and then charged me almost $60 for the oil change and labor. Luckily the catalytic converter is covered under my warranty with Chevy so I take it in and Chevy tells me nothing is wrong with the catalytic converter, the sensor was simply damaged- which is a cheap and easy fix! What a rip off Midas is, very untrustworthy!

John, Eric, and Lonnie have always been courteous, honest, and fair with me, providing reliable service to maintain my vehicles, while making sure the work was done to my satisfaction.

Scam! Took my car to be serviced. They claimed my brakes were shot and needed to be repaired. Wouldnt release the car until I approved almost a thousand dollars of work. Put on aftermarket products that were wrong for the vehicle and told me I was buying new parts. I am spending 400 more dollars today at a reputable mechanic to undo the work that was done at Midas. Brake calipers were completely seized up and I have been driving without front brakes. They have no qualms about putting your family in danger to make a buck.

My experience with the guys at Midas Beaverton has always been outstanding. Great customer service, quality work, and honest to a fault.

STAY AWAY!!! My automobile was misdiagnosed and wrongly repaired. The repair was faulty, and it has been very difficult to receive any warranty work. I would recommend taking your car to the zoo and having those monkeys bang on it with sticks.

Dropped off my Nissan Xterra to have a frozen to the stud lugnut removed. It appears that Americas Tire (185th location) cross-threaded it. They were able to remove it and also swap out my rims all in a day. I was impressed with their level of service and their communication on where we were at in the process. My TPMS light was on when I brought it and they reset it for free (I think it was a matter of the light being on because it was colder than normal). It eventually went off on my way home. :) Great job Midas!

Worst place ever. took my car in once cause it was making a wierd noise. they said it was the water pump, timing belt and a few other stuff, they said if not fixed my car could stop working. i got relly scared. asked them to fix it. THEY CHARGED ME $1,299.00 they took 4 days, so i had no car for 4 days, when they called me to pick up my car, the first thing i noticed,,it was making the same noise i brought the car with. i told them, they said they did not hear anything( this was rude). i asked to talk to the first guy i talked to the first time. and thank god he did hear it, and he told his manager. i was very disapointed and asked them to fix it. i asked how many more days are you gonna keep it? cause i use it to go to work. and they admited they did not know what that noise in the car was and that they nedded a few more days. i was relly angry but calmed down when they offered a rental. so i kept the rental for 3 days.

Just call to get a quote for just dismounting tires off a 14x7 rim and he told me 10 bucks a tire, les schwab told me 4 bucks a tire, and at the tire factory its 5. just remember 10 bucks a tire next time u get them to do any work on your car, thats highway robbery, dont let them do u like this!
