Barry was very helpful and knowledgeable. When I gave him a call he asked a few questiins to discern the model of my dryer. Then he was up front with this pricing. Gave me a time for the next day and showed up on time. He was quick to discern that the heating element went out due to over heating. He also found that a screw fell out of place pushing lint into the dryer where lint wasnt supposed to be. He explained everything to me and even told me the heating element also burnt out because the duct in the house was clogged. He was very friendly and even took time to answer and interact with my 6 and 2.5 yeah old. He wore a mask the whole time and was respectful to keep distance from the kids. Definitely reccomended.

Was able to come out the next day after my call and was fair and square. And offered his time to help me find a replacement fridge

After reading the rude 1 star review, I wish I would have connected with this guy. I spent $100 for GE to come out to give me tell me to buy a new dryer for an almost new dryer. We woke up this morning to find that our dryer wouldnt turn on. I Googled 1st Appliance and Repair and took a chance on them. The repair guy, Barry, was really cool about coming over on the same day and a weekend day no less. He was honest about pricing from the start, called 30 minutes before showing up and was within the stated window of time. The service was very professional and he was very knowledgeable. I would recommend 1st Appliance Repair to anyone.

I thought I would support small business, wrong decision. Called Barry on Wednesday, he said hed be out Saturday am between 10-noon. So I canceled the other company I had coming out on Monday. Saturday around 11:30, Barry calls and tells me that he looked up my model, the code it was showing could either be a $20 fuse, or $200 control. So he suggest instead of him coming to look at it, that I just go out and buy another dryer. He didnt want to come out because the fuse is in a hard to reach spot, he didnt want to put the effort in to check it. So he canceled the appointment. Now I cant get another repair man out for another week. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If he didnt want to do the job, he could have at least said so when I set up the appointment. As it turns out, it WAS the $20.00 fuse. Poor man lost out on easy money, and gets a terrible review

Called after our first dryer had given up the ghost and what I got was an honest assessment over the phone. We had been considering the repairing it or buying another one and after our little discussion we have decided to purchase a new dryer. Made me feel good to find someone who wasnt in it for the sale but rather looking to give us the best customer experience.

Woke up on Christmas eve to discover our refrigarator was warm, what a way to start the Holiday. Called around and found most repairs were a week out just to do an inspection then it would be a couple more to get the part and installed.I ffound Barry and 1st appliance repair online and gave him a call.he was able to tell me the three main reason why my fridge would be out and had the parts on him to repair two out of the three.Half hour later he is at our home and another hour later our fridge is worrking!Wow never would of thought I would get same day service and repair on xmas eve.Thanks Barry
