Copeland roofing replaced our hail damaged and did an excellent job. Crew of 8 showed up at 8am and had the old roof turn off and new on installed by 4pm. Good communication during the day with the crew. Yard cleaned up perfectly. Supervisor came out the following morning to pick up leftover materials and rechecked the yard for nails with his magnetic picker upper. Good job guys. New gutters coming in a week or so.

Knowledgeable, concise answers to questions in laymans terms. Call ahead notice anytime they needed to be on our property. The entire roof tear off, skylight replacements and new roof was all done in one day! Two crews were available the day of my roof installation. All in all, both fast professional crews with excellent cleanup at the end of the day. I found one or two small pieces of paper near the tree lines. I have not seen any nails in the yard. They moved or covered up any outdoor furnishings or valuables before starting. Good pricing, fast courteous service and professional installation. Would use them again.

I was looking at a roof repair for a 3-season porch, a flat roof. First of all other companies would only consider the job in combination with the entire roof. Copeland came out, on time, and offered options for repairs, complete to partial, at a very competitive price. On the day of repair, the team showed up on time, got to work and finished the job way before I expected, cleaned up and went on their way. The roof looks great. Copeland can expect my return business when Im ready for the next project. HIghly recommended.

Copeland decided to continue working on the roof in a torrential downpour and thunderstorm. Our concern for the safety of the workers quickly turned to anger and frustration as massive amounts of water came into the garage and stains appeared inside the home we just purchased and moved into. By the time it started raining, they had just started putting down the first shingles.The representative played off the incident like it sometimes “just happens” and storms can “sneak up on you” like that, but this storm started as a light drizzle about 30 minutes before it got worse. There was plenty of time to tarp the roof and get down. I even asked the workers (who spoke poor English) if they were done for the day, and the response they provided sounded like they were going to tarp the roof and wait out the storm. But they didn’t. The only part tarped was at the attic vent; see the attached photo taken immediately after the storm subsided.They were working on the house until 8:30 pm that evening, and even had to bring in a second team to get it done faster. How embarrassing for us as new neighbors to have all that noise so late on a week night.While Copeland did make it right, by taping/mudding the garage and painting over the stains inside after I verified with a third-party disaster service that the damage was not extensive and permanent, the amount of stress this ordeal caused for two weeks while we waited for everything to dry and the repairs to be made were not worth it.I do not recommend Copeland on the performance of this job.Update: 24 SeptemberBetween now and the original review, a few things have happened:1) A leak developed on a lower part of the roof, staining an interior ceiling for a second time. The site manager came out that day and weathered it in, then fixed it with shingle the next day (which he didn’t have on hand, not his fault). He said the flashing and shingle wasn’t finished properly, meaning about a month of rain had been getting into the ceiling there. The rain happened to be falling a certain way that day to accumulate enough when the ceiling stained again.2) The president of Copeland unexpectedly reached out to us personally not once, but twice with a letter. He conveyed sincere apologies for all the issues and offered a partial refund for the job.We personally think the president did a wonderful job in attempting to make amends and appreciate his care and concerns.

We were working with them to do a additional roof inspection on a house were in the process of buying. They were professional and thorough on finding more information. Would recommend for inspections. Dont know about their construction services.

Copeland was quick, professional, and did an outstanding job with our roof and gutters. They cleaned up the yard of debris quite nicely, and even got the gutter section along the back of the tin roof over the porch. Their rates were also reasonable relative to other companies I spoke to.

I chose Copeland Roofing because I have lived in the area since 1993 and knew their reputation was outstanding. Our first contact was with the Vice President/Greg who first of all treated us like Family. All questions were answered for my wife and we accepted their offer. At installation, the Field Supervisor/Bob, was there to guide the operation and explain to us what the men would be doing. My Tri-Level house was completed in one day with the clean up the next morning. We have had compliments from neighbors already. First class all the way.

We had our roof and gutters replaced earlier this year, and the work that Copeland did was amazing! They had everything installed in only a day for the actual work, and the material that they sent to us ahead of time was placed so that it wouldnt be blocking our driveway. They were even able to get a pretty close color match for our siding that had been damaged in the tornado!If I ever have damage to my roof, Im definitely calling them again.

I got 4 estimates and Copeland was the best for the money but more importantly, I had received their name from a friend and that means more than price! They arrived on time, were friendly, did a great job in a timely manner and cleaned up like they were never here. Very professional contract and I was billed when finished. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! (and I’m a very picky homeowner)UPDATE 4/20/2020: Had Copeland back out again, this time to install new gutters. My old ones (20 yrs old) were leaking really bad and I was worried eventually there would be water seeping into the basement. Copeland did a fantastic job and done in one day! Seamless, no more leaks (and we got a surprise gullywasher that same evening), zero mess and they look great with a perfect color match. Price was reasonable, too. The crew even reattached my black landscaping drains with screws. It’s the attention to little details that show their professionalism. You want a pro - call Copeland!

We had an absolute excellent roofing experience with Copeland. Sales listened to our needs and offered a great price for what we wanted. Sales helped us choose the best shingle and color for us among several good choices. The crew performed tear off demo quickly and efficiently. Experts installed 2 new ridge vents, eliminating 9 unsightly box and power vents. Another expert installed 3 Velux skylights. New sheathing was installed where necessary. The entire crew installed shingles and performed excellent cleanup, and not one nail has been found. A neighbor recommended Copeland and we will be recommending them too!!!

They replaced our roof in 2018 for less than the other estimate we received. We recently had a leak, they came out within 2 hours of me calling - it turned out to not be anything they did, but they still fixed the leak at no charge and recommended how to prime and repaint the spot on our ceiling. I have used Copeland Roofing at my house for a roof replacement twice. The first time was in 1994, and again last year in 2015. They are one of the most responsive companies I have dealt with. My experience with their work has been nothing but A+. They gave me a fair estimate and stuck to the price, the work was done exactly as promised and on the date scheduled. The workers were courteous and hard working. We had some concern about the shrubs and asked if there would be any damage, but to our surprise they shielded all the flower beds around the house with plywood and tarp and we found zero damage when they were finished. The roof looks so good that I have had neighbors stop and ask me who replaced the roof, and Ive been glad to tell them it was Copeland. The first time they replaced my roof I had some issues with dampness in the second floor walls, and I called them about it. They responded promptly, and checked their work. After they looked at the problem we found out that the chimney needed a liner and there was no problem with the roof. I was not charged for their time and service call and I thought that was very kind. I have referred friends and family to Copeland Roofing for over 25 years and will continue to do so, and in all the years I have never had anyone give me anything but praise about their work. I always buy local when possible, and I highly recommend Copeland Roofing to you also.

Copeland did the inspection on our new house. When I called them to tell them to proceed with the repairs, they had them done the same day before I got home from work and did a great job.

We have used Copeland at least three times. The last two were for gutters. We had a tree fall and damage a gutter so had it repaired under an insurance claim. We were so impressed with the result that we had all of our other gutters replaced as well. They are very efficient, and clean up so that you would never know that they were there. Quality and workmanship are excellent, and we are thrilled not to have Niagara Falls from our gutters every time there is a downpour (this last week they had a good test and all of the water was coming only from the downspouts.)

We have used Copeland Roofing for two separate jobs and they have performed the repairs with real professionalism. Our most recent repair was to re-seal our bedroom dormer. From the time our salesman inspected the roof until the repair was completed was only about 2-weeks which is much appreciated (especially when the water leak in the roof was running into our living room). Last year, Copeland Roofing came promptly to fix a leak from another roofers 10-year-old job. We wanted to add a second layer of shingles this year, and Copelands pricing was on the lower end of the estimates we received (not the lowest), but they didnt try to convince us that we needed to tear off the existing layer as other roofers did. They notified us several days before they started the job, they started and finished the job as promised, left no mess or debris, and were very courteous. We are firm Copeland Roofer fans and are recommending them to everyone we know.

We had a fair estimate within 2 days of our initial call, and were scheduled within 2 weeks. The installation crews were friendly and professional and did great work. They came back twice - same day that I called - to make some minor tweaks and did it with a smile. The final invoice matched their initial estimate exactly.Overall the workmanship and customer service were outstanding. Had a leak problem between very low pitch portion of roof and adjoining patio cover. There had been a gutter installed between the two which had enough of a lip to cause water to collect and eventually weaken and destroy to roof sheathing at the roof edge creating the leak. Copeland (and others) advised rubber roof for the very low pitch portion of the roof, Theirs was the best explained and best value bid we received (of four). I had follow-up questions concerning a couple of options and was able to make good decision to go with Copeland. Would seek them out again for future roofing and would recommend them to anyone who needed roof repair work. Nicely done - the job, the clean-up and customer service.

We called Copeland Roofing out to my mothers house to get an estimate for replacing her roof. They came out and were on time, polite and very professional with their evaluation and presentation of their quote. They went through and explained the entire process and answered all questions. We were very impressed and had them do the roof. They scheduled the job and before that date arrived, we had a storm that took off the siding on the upper portion of the house and you could see into the attic. I called Copeland and they went above and beyond and worked us in and made a temporary repair. They quoted a repair and worked that into their schedule and replaced the siding and did such a good job that you cant even tell it was replaced. They also went the extra distance and made the repair with wood backing to prevent this situation from happening again.As the date for the roofing project arrived, they called to let us know that the roofing material would arrive and they showed up on the scheduled day and put on the new roof. The quality of both jobs, the siding and the roof were outstanding. Both look great and the experience was hassle free. They installed the roof, completed all the work and cleaned up after themselves. You couldnt even tell that they had been there.The entire experience was hassle free and very pleasant. Copeland is the only company that I will ever use for my own home or any of my families homes. I recommend them to everyone.

My wife and I chose Copeland because they had the best price for what we wanted done (removal of a single layer of shingles and replacement of any sagging or “soggy” pieces of plywood). I had several quotes that ranged from simply shingling over the single layer of shingles we had to a total removal and replacement of plywood with a ridge line vent. We chose Copeland because we didn’t want to put a 30 year roof on plywood that wouldn’t last that long but felt a complete removal was well outside our price range and we do not plan on living in this house long enough to make that a good investment.I scored Copeland low because they removed an entire layer of shingles and only replaced a single piece of plywood. Every quote I received, the estimators would show me 3-4 “spongy boards” that should be replaced and there is one piece of plywood that has a very obvious bow to it above my front door. I could have easily saved a few thousand dollars if I had just shingles over the previous single layer of shingles and ignored the plywood issues. So when I received my invoice and only one sheet of plywood was billed as being replaced I was very upset.Additionally I received zero customer support during the process. I made a phone call during the first day of work asking about why the roofers had stopped during the middle of a sunny day and not returned as well as having a few other questions about the work. I was assured I would receive a phone call the next morning but heard nothing. I sent in their customer satisfaction review saying much of the same as I have put on here and haven’t received any word. The check I sent in for the work with the review was cashed but I have yet to even get a reply from them.Basically to sum it up: they quoted me for a bunch of work that was unnecessary in light of the finished product and offered 0 customer support. I do not recommend going with them as other companies offered more reasonable quotes for the amount of work I received.

We had our roof replaced in October 2016. Copeland had to remove 2 old layers of roofing and replace with a new roof. The workmanship was excellent. Copeland Roofing, Siding, and Windows, Inc. just completed replacing two kitchen doors at our home. Our home is not a standard construction, it is log. The new doors were installed with great skill and by workers who know their trade and have great customer service. Last year this company reroofed our log home. The crew had to make repairs as well as remove and install the new roofing. The job was completed on time by a great crew and supervisor. I plan on using this company yet this year for gutters and downspouts for our barn. The office workers are also most helpful and professional. I would recommend Copeland and have friends who have shared how pleased they were with Copelands work too.

Due to potential rain all day crew worked through some difficult times. They did a good job watching the weather and minimizing any problems. Hard working crew did a great job on the roof and it turned out very nice. I was a little concerned about the debris around the house but they assured me they wouldnt leave until it was all cleaned up. They were true to their word and didnt leave until 9:00 PM. I was quite frankly amazed that they did a really good clean up. A guy came out in the morning to pick up unused materials and even ran the magnet around again to pick up nails. I have satisfactorily used Copeland in the past for siding and gutters and is why I elected to use them for the roof. I had a couple of small concerns which they promptly addressed. I am a retired engineer with a heavy construction background who tends to be very detail oriented and sometimes picky and based on my current and prior experiences with them I would highly recommend them.

I have nothing but good things to say about the roofing job they did for me they actually came out earlier than expected but when I came to the gutters had to call them twice to get them to come out and they only did my house and charging me extra to do the garage which they roofed both don’t understand I feel like if they give me a quote for the house and the garage roof then gutters quote should have included the house in the garage probably just their way of squeezing more money

They met our deadline, did a superb job and gave us 30 years warranty on the shingles. All communication via email, on the phone and in person were professional and they did exactly what they had quoted and did not charge us anymore than they had quoted us.

Recently had Copeland finish my roof and K-guard gutters. It looks amazing. Sure there were some problems like any major project, but they fixed them. Yes, I took pictures and had to show them the problems...but they fixed them. After the roof was done there was a shingle that wasnt nailed down. Our brand new asphalt driveway was damaged due to the machine they brought that loads the shingles on the roof. Apparently someone forgot to put wood underneath. So, there was several dents in the asphalt. It took about a month to get resolved, but not only did they fix the driveway dents, but sealed the whole driveway. I thank Copeland Roofing for getting the job done, and fixing the problem.

Just had my roof replaced on my house. I got 6 quotes because it seems that there are more roofers out there than pizza joints or Tire & Brake shops. The quotes varied a lot and while Copeland wasnt the cheapest (and beware of just automatically taking the cheapest quote and cheapest shingle), they were the company that made me feel the most comfortable and confident that they could do the job well and deal with any unexpected issues (and there was one issue where the siding intersected with the roof; nearly all the companies noticed it but each had widely different perspectives on how to deal with it). The company communicated well about choosing shingle and scheduling the date and the workforce swarmed the house on Day 1 and were finished by the end of Day 2. They were meticulous about picking up all the debris (and its a mess when you have to take off 2 layers of shingles) and were a polite, courteous and professional crew. Bob, the boss was around to check up on things as the job progressed and he was even here the day after just making sure that every nail had been picked up from the driveway and grass. So, absolutely no complaints and the disruption was minimal (except for my dog who wondered why so many people were making such a mess!). My instincts were right; out of 6 companies, I selected Copeland and feel that I got best value.

Called me a week after I set an appointment with them, because water is leaking into my house. After we had an appointment set for over a week, they informed me today that they would not be able to make the appointment or reschedule the appointment. Thank you for wasting my time, I literally have water coming into my house.

Well we had the very same experience as all the others on here when it comes to Copeland Roofing, they didnt show up on time and seem VERY uninterested in doing the little job we had. Our insurance company paid for only 3 square to be patched on our roof. So its true if you do not need your entire roof replaced they wont give you the time of day. So if you need your entire roof done call someone else PLEASE!!!! We called Dependable Construction & Remodeling they had an A+ with the BBB and zero complaints.

This is the second time my wife and I have chosen Copeland Roofing & Siding after contacting them, and a few other contractors, for an estimate through their link on the Dayton Better Business Bureau Website.We had the same work done (soffit and siding) at a previous residence we owned in Beavercreek BEFORE moving to our current address. Their estimate was not the lowest, but we were quite satisfied with the work Copeland previously did. However, their installer was much friendlier than our last project. He and his crew were very PROFESSIONAL, kept my wife and I informed and advised every step they took. We are also impressed that Copeland sends out a Customer Satisfaction Survey after every project, and we gave the installers very high ratings and recognition. Not only would we seriously consider Copeland for any future projects we may have, but we HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone seeking soffit and siding improvements. We regret not hiring them to do our roofing project.
