The staff at Dayton MMA is extremely professional, while making sure all students young and old understand the material that is delivered. Coach Chris is excellent with the kids classes while making sure all students learn in an safe environment. Everyone is always welcome for a free week trial, you are never to old to start some thing new!

Unfortunately, I had to move away from Dayton due to work and have since had to join another gym. I could not have been more prepared from what I learned at Dayton MMA.The instructors here will clearly demonstrate high percentage techniques, patiently correct your mistakes, and the students who train here will test your newly acquired skills, while remaining positive and encouraging. They place a high priority on technique, which in my opinion is the core principle of Jiu Jitsu. If you are lucky enough to reside in the area, do yourself a favor and train at Dayton MMA. Incredible Place and I cannot wait to drop in and see where I’m truly at when visiting home.

Best place for a hundred miles if you want BJJ/Muay Thai training. All the guys there are solid and the lessons feel like you’re getting the depth of a 1-on-1 session.

I originally started at a different gym and it wasnt a good fit for me. I decided to try Dayton MMA after reading several great reviews about them online. It was a perfect fit! Everyone at the gym is very friendly and make you feel like youre part of their family. If youre a beginner or not sure about trying Jiu Jitsu, I highly recommend trying them, Michael and Chris are very patient and help you every step of the way. If youre looking for a gym with phenomenal instruction, attention to detail and a fun environment, this is it.

I have checked out other Martial Arts schools and this one is by far the best! These guys treat every single person like family and they are passionate about the art (not to mention very highly skilled). Ive been training here about a year and I will keep going for a long time to come!

Ive been with Dayton MMA since 2016 and this place is worth every penny. Its more than just another jiu jitsu gym, its a place where you can call home and training partners become family.

My daughter has been training with Chris for over 5 years now. She started out in his bully awareness class and progressed to his more advanced BJJ classes.Chris always takes time to work with each child at their skill level. Always being tough with discipline and respect, but still trying to keep things open and fun for all the kids. And mostly, he is always caring and wants each student to excel.#teamChris

Im a purple belt and have trained since 2010, and recently started training with Mike Cox. Mike is an outstanding instructor, a skilled competitor, and uses context when teaching (which significantly improves retention of the material he shares). I highly recommend considering DMMAs Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program.

Micheal Cox in my opinion is the best BJJ instructor in the Dayton area. He bought the gym from the old owner and opened up his own place in a new location. I’ve trained every where around Dayton area and this is by far the best in my opinion.

This place is great. Ive been training for about eight months now, and at Dayton MMA for just over two months. I love it here. Im in there training five days a week when I have time. The instruction is top notch and there is a good ratio of drilling to rolling. I cant believe how fast I learn here, I cannot stress enough how good the instructors are. Everyone there is super fun to work with and injuries are pretty rare. I 100% recommend Dayton MMA for anyone who is new or currently trains and wants to switch it up. See you on the mats!

My kids and I have been training at Dayton MMA for a little over two years now. It’s a high-quality family-friendly training environment serving active competitors, hobbyists, and kids across a range of disciplines with equal acumen. The new facility is smaller, but the instructors are as committed as always.

My daughter has been attending the Saturday Bully Awareness classes for over 3 years now and I cant say enough about Coach Chris and the class. She has learned so much from him on how to be aware of her surroundings and how to react appropriately when bullied or threatened. He provides the perfect mix of life safety skills with jiu jitsu moves.Coach Chris loves to work with children and it shows. However, he keeps tight control of the class and expects them to work hard and safe, while still managing to keep it fun. My daughter loves to go every week and usually wants to stay for the open gym they hold so she can keep practicing her moves.Definitely cant recommend enough!
