Nicole is very pleasant and she always does what i ask on pressure. I have never been disappointed in a massage Rita
It is impossible to book an appointment here, they never answer the phone. I’ve called several days in a row, and no answer. By the time I get someone on the phone the day I want to book for is completely booked, or you can’t get in with a therapist that works with your preferred pressure. Every time you walk into a massage envy there is someone standing at the desk. So there’s no way someone isn’t available to answer the phone, even if it’s to be placed on hold. Listen to the negative reviews. They aren’t lying. Wish I could give negative stars, and will gladly make the drive to a clinic further away that respects their clients enough to at least answer the phone.
Have been trying to contact them for 4 weeks regarding canceling. Unfortunately its a drive and we work very long hours so driving up to see IF the store manager is present isnt an easy task. They tell me repeatedly the store manager will call me and she never does. I call back weekly. Been on the phone 20 minutes right now waiting on her to answer my call. They have the worst service at this location. We stopped going to this location since they never answered their phone but were told we have to talk to them since its our homelocation. Highly recommend NOT doing business with this location. Miamisburg location is wonderful.
Very satisfying, definitely going back
Worst massage and salon experience I have ever had! I have had professional massages before, and I just want to say that the massage session I had really disappointed me. I have been going through a back injury since May 2020. I have had a couple massages (other places) since then and have been cleared to get them by my provider. The massage therapist that I had did not even go over my health history or stop to ask questions when I mentioned the injury. Moreover, these are the other points I would like to give feedback on:- No music was played to relax my mind.- The therapist did not offer to have a table warmer on during the session.- The therapist did not do a scalp massage. The front desk receptionist mentioned that they would still do that but with gloves on because of the pandemic.- The therapist massaged my glutes (which I requested) but the massage felt like she didnt want to do it but had to because I requested it. Overall, it did not feel like I received an adequate massage in that area.I am very very disappointed with my experience at this Massage envy. When the manager reached out to me, the only thing she wanted to do was offer to schedule me another massage at the introductory rate. This is not how customers should be treated at all.
Really good massage.
Little expensive but it was ok.
Sharonda is outstanding!
I did a reservation for facial 90 minutes, for almost 20 minutes of this time, aesthetician did nothing was sitting on chair, covered my eyes, put the mask on my face and instead of start massage the neck and shoulder, she cleaned the sink and made noise, absolutely unprofessional, no ethics, be careful, doesn’t worth 90 minutes at all, waste of time and money .
Typical self care place. Plenty of customizable options. Clean area. Friendly staff. Calming atmosphere.
Great price and massage.
Think Twice Before Buying Their Subscription Service!Back in September of last year, I had the idea to subscribe to their monthly massages. They said you could transfer them to other people, so I was going to save up my three massages from Oct, Nov, and Dec to give as Christmas gifts. When I signed up, I was warned that because they were considered medical massage, a doctor’s note would be REQUIRED to cancel my subscription. Everyone I’ve spoken with since agrees this is an... unusual policy, but okay. I sign up anyway and think that all is well. The first issue I ran into is that you are only allowed to transfer one massage to another person per month, so I would not be able to give them all out in Dec as planned. I don’t remember being informed of this when I signed up, but I guess I should have asked; that one’s on me. Next, I learned that there is a $10 fee for transferring a massage which was annoying and I also don’t recall being told when I signed up, but it was still cheaper than buying the massages individually without the subscription so okay, maybe that’s another thing I should have asked about when I signed up.At this point, since me and anyone I transferred a massage to only has a limited period of time to use them once I cancel, I was on the hook to keep my subscription for at least a few more months past Christmas to, one, give me enough time to give them out only transferring one per month and, two, to give my family enough time to use them as well. Monday of last week I went in with my doctor’s note to ask: if I cancelled now, would everyone still have at least a month to finish using their massages? The person I spoke with told me that the manager wasn’t there, but she would take my doctor’s note, keep it on file, and have the manager reach out to me when they were there. This is where the straw that broke the camel’s back comes in.It is not until almost a full week later, this past Sunday, that I receive an email from Rachel at the store. She says: “when you cancel your membership in term with a doctors note, your cancellation is what we call an ‘immediate cancel’ This means your membership is immediately cancelled and any sessions on the account are lost. I wanted to make sure you had a good understanding of this BEFORE (my emphasis) I processed your cancellation.”Obviously I responded the next day letting her know that I wanted to hold off on processing the cancellation until I had had a chance to use my remaining 2 massages that were currently on file; one I had waiting to be allowed to transfer and one I had transferred, but that the person hadn’t used yet. To my great shock and dismay, Rachel then replies “Because you turned in a doctors note to cancel your membership stating you cannot be massaged (it didn’t, it said I didn’t REQUIRE massages medically because I never did. I didn’t NEED a doctor’s note to sign up in the first place.) I am unable to let you continue with your membership.”Look, I’m a reasonable guy. I don’t think I’ve ever even left a negative review before. I don’t like doing this, but this situation is absurd! I tried to follow procedure very carefully so as not to have anything get messed up only to be told that just by showing them this note I have automatically “lost” $110 worth of accumulated massages immediately with no opportunity for recourse. I feel like anyone would be upset by the way this situation has been handled. Maybe Rachel is just following procedures here, but then someone above her ought to step in and make this right.
Girls nose was running and felt like I was getting the weakest 90 min massage ever. Didn’t even do the full body like I asked. I didn’t complain because she should of called in sick.
OMG... worst experience don’t go here... the massage was not focused as they say it is. They take your information and don’t use it. I asked for my back to be focused on and they just do the same routine. They don’t listen to what you say. Never came back to walk through were muscles were tight just said it’s you back and walked out. Terrible.... worst one I have ever been to. Never write a review but this was so bad I had to let folks know.... call Corp on Monday
Messages are always good. Rather its deep tissue or light pressure, always satisfied. Extra services are nice, but cost more then I thought they would. Will be returning sooner then later.
Audra is phenomenal! The staff is always so kind. Prices are good for the experience!
My husband started me off with a gift certificate for Christmas. Ive been hooked ever since ! I became a member right away, and have never regretted it. I can pick and choose what areas I want worked on. (I prefer my back and feet only). Since I get more than one massage a month, being a member certainly pays off !! I love this place !
Great place! I always leave feeling wonderful. You let them know what your looking for as far as how much pressure you like and they are great with putting you with the perfect person.
I signed up for a membership after my first massage (which was one of the best I have ever had) and have never regretted it. There was no hard sell for the membership, the associates are always helpful, professional and consistently provide excellent service. The masseuse listens to my feedback and identifies areas that need work. When I had a question about billing the manager went out of his way to research it and quickly provide an answer.
I absolutely love the staff at this place everyone has always been friendly!!! Jess is amazing and professional and very knowledgeable about skin care and does a great job of making sure she tells me what shes doing and all of her concerns on what to do to make my face feel great!!! She goes above and beyond to have me leaving there feeling amazing!!! I look forward to all my sessions with her!!!
Good massage, with no pressure to sign up for the monthly message. The person I got did a great job but was a little heavy with the message oil. Came home and had to take a shower. To much oil.
Massage was ehhh...felt like I just had lotion slathered on me and nothing else. More (A LOT MORE) pressure could have been applied. Wouldnt recommend if you really need your muscles worked out/rubbed/manipulated.
I have to be honest I have been receiving massages for a really long time because of my scoliosis in my back. I have been to several different places and Massage Envy the Greene has been the best place to help out with it at an affordable cost! The membership is great. Its simple and straight forward. I really dont understand why people say it is a scam because everything it right on paper!!! I and most of my family have had nothing but good things to say about this place. I highly recommend!
I have been going monthly since January! Aaron is awesome! Ive moved 25 minutes away and will still drive up once a month! Love it!
My boyfriend and I visited Massage Envy @ the Greene on Tuesday as a belated birthday gift. It was a first time experience for both of us, so we were a little nervous and not sure what we were getting into. However, it was an awesome experience, and we both said we wish we could get a massage done every day! The beds were heated and the room was dimly lit with nice noises playing throughout our hour-long massage. Lori (sp?) and Evelyn were amazing, and asked several times throughout how pressure/etc. was to ensure a good experience. We were a little afraid with other bad reviews, but they didnt try to swindle us in to membership or anything, and we ended up having a wonderful time! Thanks for making our first experience a great one!
I went here to relax after giving birth 6 weeks prior. They did a very good job and were very friendly. I would go here again!
This place sucks. The manager is a douche and likes dudes Im pretty sure. They dont have soundproof walls so you can always hear people in the sprint store. Wouldnt even give a happy ending upon request.
So far so good. I had two appointments. I can say full body is not the same full body. Miss the thighs and chest. Bearly touch the legs. Im a truck driver gas break gas break pays a toll on ones legs.
My expirence at Massage Envy the Greene was exceptional. My membership is well worth the price. I have several therapists that help with my chronic back pain. Jessica and Lyndsey are nothing short of miracle workers. As someone who has been through back surgery, their medical knowledge helps get me out of severe pain. The front desk is very attentive and always gets me rescheduled for my future appointments. I appreciate the efforts of the entire Massage Envy team.
This place let my 16-year-old daughter book a $50 massage took her credit card information and then told her she would have to ask her parents we told her she was not allowed to go then they debited her credit card $50 for a cancellation I would never go to this place. They scam money from minors. Then when I called to explain to the manager he said file a dispute with your bank he would do nothing.
For one things I never post negative reviews but now I see why others complain about this place. They are nice as pie to you when you had went there but once you switched to another location because the massage therapist you been seeing transferred so you want to continue with them, they are rude and not helpful. So this was my experience...to start my card on file expired the end of October, I caught some things I get billed and updated and other places had contacted me for the updated info but NOT Massage Envy, they just suspended my acct without contacting me. So I look at my statement one night and saw I was billed twice (at this point of time I forgot about the card) so I called them to inquire about it. The girl, I believe her name was Vanessa said that one payment was for what I owed for November, I said that I am being charged back to back payments a day apart. I said that I should had been contacted in November about the expired card and she said that they are currently working on setting up a system to notify people, if my card was rejected right then and there they had the info to contact me. She said that they missed it but the other location caught the suspension. I find it hard to believe that they missed it when right then and there they had the info that the card payment didnt work and contact me from there. The girl on the phone could of cared less. I said this is not my only bill to pay and I dont have it budgeted in the month for 2 payments. I said I would like one credited back and she said there is no way to do that. I find that hard to believe when places credit back all the time for inaccuracies. She said she would write off Januarys payment and I said that isnt helping right now for this month. So I will probably get double billed in February even though she said I wouldnt but I really dont believe her at this point. So not sure of what to do next I called corporate and spoke with Eliza there. She said she would contact the owner and have them contact me right away...so far the owner has never contacted me so you know what it says about this place! I have since filed a dispute now with my bank since I am not authorizing a back to back payment like that. If anyone else knows what else I can do please let me know. It is sad that businesses and employees treat their customers that way.
Massage Envy uses tricky tactics and deceiving sales pitches to trap you into long term agreements. They act like its easy to cancel when you are signing up, and then say well actually if you read our contract carefully, your locked in for 12 months no matter what. What they do may be legal but its not good customer service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that will not sales pitch you the entire time. Also, James Kirk, the general manager, is a total jerk and scam artist.
I am a member so i get to go here quiet often. Massages are great depending on who is doing it.
Dont waste your time. After messing with the app that doesnt work for about an hour to schedule, agreeing to ridiculous price, and entering my CC info so they can charge me if I cancel...they turn around and call me and cancel my appointment the day of. Wheres my cancellation fee???
I have not even finished scheduling my appointment and I do no even want to go because the person answering the phone was rude and put out about doing her job. I was given a gift certificate and they wanted a credit card to schedule the appointment. Not a good experience so far. not feeling inclined to use my certificate. Cant be good when you are not treated politely before you have even come to the establishment.
Friendly staff, wonderful service! Cant wait to go back!!
Nice location if you want to good deep tissue experience schedule with Ciara!
I had a massage here once, it wasnt as enjoyable as I thought it would be..maybe, because it was my first and I didnt know how to fill out the questionnaire correctly. I would have liked more pressure on my muscles.
Great staff, amazing massages and its in a great location!
Therapists are great. dirty room, spa tables not functional
Wonderful therapist but they refused to give me my money back on my debit card they charge me two months when I was told the debit card was just to hold my spot for massage they are assholes when it comes to giving you your money back so dont never give them your debit number because they will continue to charge your card had to cancel that card and get a new one!!!!
Overpriced and staffed with people who dont always know what theyre doing. The standards for this company arent near high enough to justify the price.
Excellent Message - very professional.
Very friendly atmosphere and staff are wonderful.
As much as I have loved the massages here, the membership service is one of the worst membership services I have been apart of. I have been trying to cancel, since I can no longer afford it, and they keep prolonging the process. It is extremely difficult to cancel; I have had several phone calls trying to resolve the issue but there is no help in sight. I also found the scheduling system barbaric and rarely received the reminder calls or emails that they claim to send.
They arent bad. Its not a spa in Vegas but for Dayton its not bad.
Asked a question about the difference between a chiropractor and a massage and the help was totally perplexed.
GO SOME WHERE ELSE!! PLEASE I BEG YOU! DONT BE SORRY!!After buying my mother a 100$ gift card they still made her schedule her appointment using her credit card, then they charged her credit card instead of using the card I had already purchased. Now why in the hell would they need that info if its already paid for!!?? Now they are saying she has to come back at some specific time so that the charge can be overridden by the boss. BULLSHIT!! Give her the money just as easily as you took it you slime balls!! They didnt offer her any recovery service for their unprofessionalism. My mother works 6 days a week and is on the bus you damn idiots! Get it right the first time!!! I cannot believe this place is still in business. I am reporting it to the BBB. Wish I had of done my research first. Im just totally pissed
Massage Envy is a huge scam. Dont go to the place. The massages arent worth the prices and the membership is a huge trick.
The facial I had with Melissa was amazing!
Had a very relaxing massage
Never Had One But Heard Their Nice
Experienced, professional staff, excellent management!
I walked in because I was hoping they could tell me where Subway went.
I didnt go inside...but it looked nice.
Great place, very relaxing
Couples massage is fun
Relaxing!

Crystal is hands down the best massage therapist I’ve had and always makes sure she takes care of all my issues I’m having.
Love the hot stones massage! Sharonda did a great job!!!
Added the stretch enhancement to todays massage and it compliments well. Feeling very refreshed, thank you, Brenda!
