Discriminates against Veterans as Far as having shelter there.

My brother is homeless and we were willing to pay the $10 a nite but was told you can only stay for a week then cannot stay for 6 months wouldnt even feed him!

I called but there wasnt any room available for shelter but I was referred to another place. when I finally reached the last place to inquire information I was blessed with a phone call that the place I was waiting on would be ready soon and I could move in once it was ready!

Been waiting over a month for them to pay my light bill. I paid the part they told me to pay and they still havent put their part. AND no one will answer the phone

Lady name Vickie here is rude rude rude! Vickie dont want to help nobody but her own..(.immigrants) They were offering free water and watermelons, there signs stated one per household! Vickie and another hispanic looking woman had the guy that was to remove the box load of watermelons onto this large truck instead they had him loading watermelons into their own personal vehicles! But The Salvation Army I thought, maybe Im wrong. Was to help homeless and needy families instead I saw the workers helping themselves to what was supposedly to be for public in need! I can read Signs stated Only One Per household the water was one 16oz bottle of water... My household consist of six kids two adults!!! How do you split a 16oz bottle of water and one small watermelon? It can be done, We did it! But Vickie the worker at the Beaumont Salvation Army and her co-worker were having there personal vehicles loaded with watermelons. I have given to this Salvation Army in the past... I really thought they were helping needy families, to find out when I really was in need to be refused food! Food! I didnt ask for money just a lil food! Thanks the only Vickie!!! At the Beaumont Texas Salvation Army!!!

Emergency Shelter of Salvation Army in Beaumont TX, is bringing to you same benefits like all of them. Same rules and restrictions applicable seriously. Theyre doing excellent job.

Denied of services. Had no place to go. Told that this was an emergency shelter and that we did not qualify.

Efficient.. caring....concerned...very busy but pretty much stays on time with appts.

I only gave it four stars, because after the first three days you have to pat...BUT-they DO offer you ways to pay for your stay...sweeping up after meals, cleaning the dorm, mopping, etc. Its a great help, if help is what you need to get off the street.

This scam doesnt even accept women anymore. Neither does the one in LK Charles and people wonder why there is trafficking. Only charities and faith-based orgs get away with that kind of discrimination and abuse. This needs to be exposed for the fraud it is. Theyve never helped people besides the worse than jail shelter and now its closed to women. Yes, the staff does steal almost everything that is donated. People like Regina Rogers donate good food and its taken home by staff. The homeless people never get a bite.

Drugs r being used inside the salvation army the worker found a crack pipe crack rock in the restroom so everybody that was new suffer for that one person and the new people got kicked out

Me, my husband and five kids went for help a lady named Vickie told us we cant stay there . We got evicted and are homeless she turned us down horrible attitude and no help at all ! Dont go there . Im on my way to file a complaint against the shelter and the workers . Ive never saw a shelter that literally turns u away with no resources no help no referral no nothing . Absolutely ridiculous!
